Rating: Summary: Neoptimal - Stunning...Riveting...WOW... Review: This is an awesome (and it really is awe - some) movie. Storyboarded by the same artist who is working on the Daredevil movie and X-Men 2, this Sci-fi sequence combines kung-fu elements and an intriguing story line that captures you and makes you beleive that everything around you is not as it seems. The plot is enhanced by talented actors who potray the charachters very well. From the know-it-all mastermind Morpheus, to the bold Neo and the brash female Trinity, through the whole movie you care about these charachters and hope their freinds won't die, and hope they'll save Morpheus and destroy the agents. Intriguing. Buy it. @lex
Rating: Summary: Awesome DVD Review: This is an awesome DvD that is packed with extra features including the making of "the matrix" and others. The main movie is great too with extra scenes deleted from tv, and enhanced picture. Obviously, we all know the story of the matirx, a man realizes that his world is a computer simulation, and a man named morpoheus is set to free him from the "program", because he believes he is the one who can put an end to it. This movie is awesome, and i can't wait until the sequal comes out this summer.

Rating: Summary: Superb, shame about the green tint Review: This is an excellent film that realy does need a second look, so what better that the DVD version with all those extra features. One concern though was the green tint on the film transfer, that is not resident on any of the extras. Be good to know if anyone else has seen this on this Region 1 played in the UK.
Rating: Summary: Woah, Very Cool! Review: This is an excellent movie. I recommend it to everyone! There are a few problems with the story, but it is good for the most part. Lots of people think it is hard to understand the first time you watch it. But I on the other hand, got the whole story the first time. I must admitt though, it is much better on DVD. Good luck.
Rating: Summary: Enjoy The Matrix... Until You Unplug... Review: This is an exceptional film, full of action, suspense, mystical philosophy and symbolism. The story is set in a sci-fi future where AI machines have taken over the world and plugged biological humans into the Matrix, where they experience an illusory reality while their body serves as a battery/energy source for the machines. "Neo" Anderson ("One" "Son of Man"), played smoothly by K. Reeves is contacted via hacking of the Matrix by a group of renegade humans who have been able to hide from the machines and escape enslavement while they prepare for the "One" expected to lead humanity to freedom. Adventure ensues when Neo is unplugged and joins the freedom fighters. This story is a wonderful allegory for human existence and civilization, and the film has excellent effects, solid acting, and an impressive script for a movie of this genre. The DVD has cool bonus features and is a must for those seeking subtle symbolism and other nuances of the film.
