You got to own this one, it's priceless!

Summary: The best religious Sci-fi action thriller of the world.
Review: Matrix is a movie that everyone needs to see after having a pretty good idea about the new testament and the Bible. It resembles all the ideas in the bible. The action is mind-blowing and the ideas are unique yet not crazy. Satan created an illusion that hides all the crazy things that is going on in this world, the death, the wars, the cruelty. We don't see that here in United States. Therefore, the job of the matrix crew was to show people that they are living in a world of illusion. Its a dream, not reality. The writers of this movie are quite brilliant. I love the movie and can watch it again and again. Its a movie that you have to have in DVD. You will appreciate the color, texture and resolution. With a voodoo card, you can enjoy the movie in the computer scree as well with bose speakers for the best sound ever. Its going to be a classic, I have no doubt abou that. Possibly the best action movie ever created with some incredible graphics and brillian ideas that also makes us think about this world, our purpose and our existence.

Summary: A 4 star movie transformed to 5 stars through DVD
Review: Matrix is a perfect example of how a movie can shine brighter on DVD. The sound effects were great and crystal clear and the extras are the best I have seen. The viewer has the option of watching the movie as normal, except when a white rabbit icon appears, you can click it and see the special effects scene being created. When the "extra scene" is finished, the movie picks up where it was.As for the movie... I found the plot original albeit a little difficult to follow. Like most people, I think "K. Reeves = Topical plot". Well that is wrong in this case. I have watched the movie several times without boredom setting in. The stunts, effects and action are fresh for a high budget movie.

Review: Matrix is a perfectly written, directed and played movie. The story is wonderfully new and stimulating for eyes and ears. The actors are mostly phenomenal and the action is breathtaking. Matrix has one of the best suspense score since Hitchcock. My rating: A blockbuster for grown ups that You will surely not forget that fast !

Review: Matrix is a wonderfully built movie that makes the audience think and expand their thoughts on normal everyday life. It delivers a fine performance with Keanu Reeves as the star Neo, who may be humanity's last hope. The film has suspense, action, special effects beyond anything you've ever seen before, and even humor. The plot twists and turns, but the viewer is able to catch up if they get lost. Such a creative film is a very impressive piece of cinematography. Never has the audience seen such an array of mind blowing special effects and such an intriguing plot. The Matrix movie is about the world as we think we know it...but in fact we are all, all of us humans, being used as slaves for the machines that have taken over our world. Neo is trying to figure this out, and then he is told the truth. The world we think we are living in, is actually a wreck. We are living in a sort of dreamworld. The movie is complex. It has bizarre ideas on things we wonder about everyday: even deja vu. The Matrix is a compelling, wonderful movie that you will enjoy as well as think about for days after. It is rated R for a lot of violence, but teens should be allowed to see it. Enjoy!

Review: Matrix is an awakening in the spirit relm of life knowing thatwhenever we uses anyone of our five senses it only inform us of afragment of the reality while whenever we go beyond our five senses we are right in line with our source and reason for living for it`s from our source that our five senses arrive and without having knowledge of the source it`s like having an bank account and can`t withdraw from it so it becomes useless or improperly used ( you have the power and don`t know what to do with it )Matrix however shows the capacity beyond what the eyes ears nose taste and feel can demonstrate and it all boils down to what you believe and if you`re a person that believes that good can and will always conquor evil

Summary: "A new style in in visual FX" (?)
Review: Matrix is an enjoyable action - sci-fi film with an original argument, but the backstory is very similar to the one on The Terminator saga. This film proves thant simple technology still can deliver good visual FX for example: I never imagined that the special secuences were made with the actors hanging on wires with motion control cameras over a green screen. However I never understood why did they call that secuences like "A new Special FX style" maybe because that sort of of secuences have never seen before on a movie (only in TV commertials) Anyway if you are a sci-fi fan (and even if you're not)you should better give an eye on this movie; the DVD version is more enjoyable than ever and is the best way for watching it.

Summary: What is the MATRIX
Review: Matrix is hardly to miss. Using the words of one of the main film's character Laurence Fishburne(Morpheus) 'the matrix is everywhere, even here in this very room' So my oppinion about the matrix is that is one of the best films ever made because of its original plot which may be unbelievable but makes sense. So, the film is about a system kinda VR that all human beings are not born but grown in it. there are some persons called the Agents who runs the whole thing and there are the good guys who are not inside the program and want to destroy it, but they can't. that is because they need someone more powerfull that theirselves. that man is called neo (keanu reeves) and is the chosen one for the job.

Summary: Excellent story and movie adaptation!
Review: Matrix is one of the darkest apocoliptic stories I have seen in years that has been done to extreme standards. Usually we have seen above average stories with lousy effects and vise versa, this was done with an above average story that didn't fall too far short on the special effects. It was a pleasure for me to have had the fortune to have seen this in all it's splendore on the big screen. I agree there are some holes to fill, but all in all it's one of Sci-Fi's best efforts to date.

Review: Matrix is one of the greatest movie I've seen in years. Sound effects in surround sound 5.1 channel really put you in the middle of the action(you gotta check out the shooting spree in the lobby!) Awesome! Picture was great too! You have to have the right equipments to totally enjoy a great movie like the Matrix! I've watch Matrix in VHS format and until you see it in DVD you don't know what you're missing!
