Summary: One of the most influential movies of the Eighties
Review: The Road Warrior is a George Miller masterpiece(Dead Calm, Babe) full of unbelievable stunts and non-stop action. This movie went on to influence a whole genre of rip-off movies and fashion from the Eighties. Still one the highest grossing films of all times in Australia, it is a thrill to watch with a stirring soundtrack by Brian May. This movie can be a bit violent at times but is an interesting vision of an apocalyptic future. One of the top ten movies from the Eighties, this movie is a must see.

Summary: This film is a great no-brainer!
Review: If you want a movie with no thinking involved, get the Road Warrior! It is a great movie! It is totally self-suffecient, and dosen't require seeing Mad Max. It is a great film!

Summary: Good for action and Mel Gibson fans,
Review: I didn't particularly like the original Mad Max, even though I like Mel, mostly because it was kinda boring. This one at least held the attention all the way through the movie. Not much story and kind of shallow in every other way. This one will appeal only to Mel Gibson fans and action lovers.

Summary: Gibson Explodes Once Again As Mad Max
Review: Mel Gibson once again graces the screen as the warrior of the future, Mad Max. Just as George Miller Showed us in the original, Max is still driving high powered cars as he races through the outbacks of Australia. This time around Max runs across a bunch of biker nomads looking for a fight.Max eventually joins up with a group of rebels defending their supply of gasoline. But when the bikers make Max mad, they find out the hard way why they call him Mad Max. The action in the film is great. Filled with exciting car chases and explosions. It's every action fan's dream to wath this action classic. Only Mel Gibson can deliver the thrills that is delivered in The Road Warrior.

Summary: Definitely the best Mad Max film
Review: Not only is The Road Warrior the best Mad Max film, but it is also one the best action films of all time. This movie has some of the best action sequences involving tons of cars going incredibly fast, plus some extraordinary crashes, which equals one heck of a movie. The script however is lacking but it doesn't really matter since there's so much action. Also, you could watch the movie with the mute on and still figure out what's going on. A very satisfying film.

Summary: Action Classic and a Film Masterpiece
Review: A fan of action films will undoubtedly side with The Road Warrior as an all-time great. And that person would not be wrong in doing so, either. In my opinion, The Road Warrior stands beside Hard-Boiled as the greatest of all action movies.

But I think what so many people fail to consciously recognize is how The Road Warrior stands the test of time not just as an action film, but as a film, a term which is not limited to genres and categories. The Road Warrior transcends the conventional action film by creating a completely believable setting of the cliched post-apocalyptic world. The setting is imperative in a film like this; and Max's world of roads and desert wastelands is as believable as the far more popular one that happened "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...."

The Road Warrior is not to be missed, not only by action fans, but film fans.

Summary: BEST ACTION MOVIE. MUST SEE
Review: I saw The Road Warrior about two weeks ago on TV and realized why everyone recommended this film. Mel Gibson has a few lines in the entire movie, but has never been so great in a film. I preffered this movie over Mad Max because it made more sense. I recommend anyone who has not seen this film to buy it.

Summary: Wow!
Review: I was quite surprised by this film, which I only saw for the first time about a week before this review was written. I've seen a lot of early-to-mid-eighties action films, such as Commando and Invasion U.S.A., as well as the original Mad Max (albeit in its messed-up American version), so I wasn't really expecting too much from this. It completely blew me away. George Miller and company took aspects of some of the best genres (e.g., samurai, western, etc.) and made a modern myth. They also managed to make one of the most satisfying climaxes in film history with the final chase involving the tanker truck.

Summary: The best of the 3
Review: many people will tell(exaggerate)the high tones of violence in this movie. Not true.I've seen worse(Robocop,Paul Verhoeven movies)If you want to compare Robocop to Mad Max in violence. Robocop would win but better trilogy would go to Mad Max
