Summary: Perceive it as it is and The Matrix Revolutions brings fun.
Review: The Matrix Revolutions has everything an ending part of a trilogy needs to have - some drama, epic scale battles and the ending point of the long conflict. It is very complex visually speaking and I believe that it is the Matrix movies that set the bar of how CG should be used in movies. The Matrix Revolutions is set in a rather darker mood than the previous two movies as this time most of the film revolves around the real world and real deaths. There were some things I would have liked shown different but overall it is a very enjoyable movie if you don't ask it to be "The Godfather" deep in acting and drama and "The New Bible" on philosophical side. It is superb at what it is - high production values Sci-Fi/Action movie. If you are capable of staying unbiased and perceive The Matrix Revolutions as it is, you should definitely like it. Can you think of a better movie in this genre? - I know I can't (and no, Blade Runner, 2001, Aliens ans similars are NOT of this genre).

Summary: This Movie Is Great If You Understand The Plot.
Review: Everyone who didn't understand what was happeneing in the 3 movies didn't really care about it, or else they would watch it a couple times. People who say "There are whole scenes that have nothing to do with the plot" or "What ever happened to The Oracle" have no clue because they havent seen the movies a few times. I know what's going on. Here are a few questions that people dont understand much. The Oracle: What happened to her?
For 1 The actress that played The Oracle for the first 2 had died during the making of 2. Therefore, they had to make certain changes. Neo, Trinity, and Morpheus are talking to the Merovingian, and after they are done talking he says "Run back, and give the fortune-teller this message, her time is almost up". This might be confusing but in either the thrid movie or Enter The Matrix (a game, I'm 13 but I still have something to say here) or the third movie someone goes to the Oracle and asks why she's in a new skin. She tells us flat out that the merovingian sold her so she had to get a new body (she was sold because helping the humans was, I guess, illegal, or something like that). That's easy to understand right? Next, people don't seem to understand why there are scene's that having nothing to do with the plot. WELL THEY DO HAVE TO DO WITH THE PLOT!!!! TAKE SOME TIME TO TRY TO WATCH THE MOVIE!!!! *says to himself: darn people, don't know what they're talking about. its a great movie* Moving on, Some people think the scene before the big Neo Vs Smith showdown has nothing to do with the plot.(Neo says: It ends tonight. Smith says: I know it does....) This is relative. they arent talking about that night's big game. They are talking about who wins the showdown. They both know that only 1 will survive the showdown. They just don't exactly know who. Use your brains people. If you have any specific, non-dumb, relevant questions about The Matrix Trilogy, I can answer. Pay no mind to those reviews that come flat out and say tat they don't understand. They are the ones that think the movie is horrible. And even if you think The matrix Trilogy was horrible, ask me about the movie, about what happens, watch the movie again, and you might appreciate it more. Summary: IS IT OVER OR JUST BEGINING
Review: First off, when I first saw this in the theatre I fell asleep(I waited to see this movie for 6 months) I debated over what I had seen realizing numerous possibilities that they hinted to but left vague. Reading hostile reviews from what appear to be children who are acting as if the answers are in there prompted me to set the record straight. You are not stupid or retarded if you don't understand this movie. There are no answers to be found here just bold questions. Most ADULTS don't want to leave a movie wondering if they liked it or not. We want to be satisfied with completion. Like after a fine meal, you know if you enjoyed it because there was nothing left to digest. We'll, revolutions is not a fine meal. Many don't want to have to guess the relevance concerning key elements to a story. "Was Neo genectically altered by the machines is that how he feels them"? (I guess,maybe,could be,I think,). Because I cannot prove this, nor can those kids. Hell, for all we know Neo is an alien from another galaxy. In the end you won't know what happened unless it is answered by the filmakers themselves. In other words most of what you get here is left up to interpretation. "It is incomplete".They obviously designed this movie to be left opened so that you can continue the story in a video game($$$). That does not excuse the movie for being incomplete I am sorry. Good meals when finished don't reapear later.

Summary: Rather disappointing.....
Review: I remembered all the hype to the second film's release. The chatter about how spectacular this series was going to be. How 'The Matrix' would be the hallmark of true sci-fi films and that continuing the story was an awesome idea. I also recall the thousands of disappointed drones sulking out of the theatres scolding the second movie. I was warned off the second movie by many of those upset sunshine-fans, but I saw it anyway and enjoyed it. These same disgruntled fans of the first film who disliked the second went, I feel, to the third bitter and expecting to be bored. When they came out hating the trilogies' finale I wasn't surprised. That didn't stop me from seeing the second and it didn't stop me from finishing off the series. I didn't go into the third film with any expectations. Many hated the second and I still enjoyed that one. I held the same hopes for the final installment. It fell flat. I didn't like too much. Why? Well it didn't disappoint me because I had no expectations based on the first picture. Just as a film on its own, it didn't work for me. Overall I found it to be random, overly dramatic at points, and hurried on major plot hooks. Where the first two films focused mainly on Neo, the final movie seems to place that character in the passenger seat. Sure he's still important but you start to wonder, "Why?" And, "Why is he doing that?" A lot of the actions taken by the characters didn't seem to have any purpose. They just 'acted' and you sort of wondered why. What information did they have that we didn't that could clear some of this up? The flow of the movie was choppy and seemed rushed to just finish. The biggest problem I had with the second movie was how they portrayed Zion. When they dicussed it in the original I expected a more 'Mad Max' sort of refuge for the remaining humans. Not a giant underground rave. Outside of Zion the second movie was good. Unfortunately 'Revolutions' spends most of its time in Zion. The giant battle scene, although very pretty to watch, was expected and somewhat lame. Wasn't so impressive. As far as Neo and how the movie ends? Hey, has anyone read the 'Dune' books? Muad'dib Neo follows so closely to 'Dune Messiah' at times it was incredible. I loved the action and unexpected twist that led to an enjoyable ending. Of course I liked it when I read it from Frank Herbert and thought it was a giant ball of cheese in 'Revolutions'. The ending was not original. Not enjoyable. I'd say wait til this movie comes out on DVD to see it, but that's what I did. And I still thought it time spent that I could have done something else. If you're a 'Matrix' fan, see 'Revolutions'. Just to complete the story. It wasn't horrible but it also wasn't good. I'm glad I saw it but I'm in no rush to see it again.

Summary: Go Ahead, Be Shallow, It's OK
Review: I'm not going to write a long, philosophical review of this movie. I leave that to others. Besides, I can only just grasp the philosophy of it all to begin with. There were times I wished one of the characters would just come out and say, "OK, this is the real deal..." Instead, you're greeted with the usual Matrix double-talk, insinuations, and oh-so-serious impending doom-isms. It helps for the viewer to have an intimate understanding of computers and programs to achieve some comprehension of the Matrix itself and all these dueling programs within it. That aside, I think it's OK to just be totally shallow and watch this movie for the visual effects. Which, in my opinion, are absolutely phenomenal! Particularly the whole Zion invasion part. My eyes were bugging out. But unlike the Lord of the Rings movies - which left me in sensory overload with all the eye candy, and mentally exhausted at the end - this movie had just enough of the digital effects sequences, interspersed with live action involving humans, that my brain could handle it all. Some of the fighting scenes involving Neo and others were clearly digitalized. I could tell when the scene used the real actor, and when it used the techno version of him. But when it came to the machine sequences, the aforementioned Zion attack, and the racing ship scenes, it looked REAL. Of the three movies, if I were to rate them best to worst, this would fall in the middle, with the first Matrix being the best, and Reloaded being the worst (talk about needing some dialogue editing). I recommend it for the fantastic visuals and sound (you'll be stunned), and for some sense of closure to the whole storyline. You DO have to see the first two movies, though, to "get" this one at all. Revolutions begins at the very moment Reloaded ended. So it's not newbie-friendly. The DVD is perfect. My only complaint - and which stands for a lot of DVDs - is that I hate when they show a dozen scenes from the movie the moment you pop the DVD in and it goes through its introduction to the menu.

Review: I only saw this movie recently. I put off watching because everyone I talked to preached about how awful it was. A good friend of mine bought it and let me borrow it. I took it but I was prepared for a bad movie. Well, lets just say that everyone I talked to was dead wrong. The battle for Zion was simply spectacular. The plot was focused and never strayed, the special effects where fawless. The movie only dabed in Matrix psychobable and concentrated almost entirely on what we've all been waiting for... the humans showdown with the machines. The mechs that the resistace used to defend Zion with are enough to make the animematix fans drool. We also get to see more of the machine world wich is pure eye candy. I can't find anything wrong with this movie. Please give this movie a try. It has received alot of heat, but alot of it is miss aimed. A perfect way to top off the Matrix trilogy.

Summary: T R U T H F U L
Review: One must have viewed all the previous Matrix releases before fully understanding this final (?) motion picture. It is obvious that each subsequent picture should actually lead to a conclusion that can be realistic. One would think after KR's ability at the end of Matrix 1, that how can there actually be anymore Matrix pictures. Well, they came up with a grand plot, and the trilogy is a must see.
Even with the Oracle passing away in her real life, the makers of the Matrix did an excellent job in her replacement, and her dedication. Some people see the surface of this picture, while others see behind the screen. I like to say that I can see them connected in each scene. That's what I get for being a Poet.

Summary: It could hardly be worse
Review: In the first Matrix, the W brothers took time away from the special effects and action sequences to EXPLAIN what was going on. There was a lot of explaining to do, and they made sure they did it. That's why people loved The Matrix. It was complex but it made sense. In this film, the second sequel to the original, nothing is explained. Nothing makes sense. Characters show up and talk about philosophical concepts, making the plot pointlessly murky. The Oracle is a new woman, but it's not clear why (other than the fact that the original actress died). As the movie goes on, you find yourself collecting questions. Why is THAT happening? Why did they go THERE? Entire scenes have nothing to do with the plot. (Just try to figure out why the Merovingian is back. There's no explanation.) Rather than clear things up, you get one of the most overblown action sequences in the history of film. And it's boring. Yes, the special effects are impressive, but they seem too computerized (or stolen from other sci-fi movies) to hold your attention. In the documentary on the second disc, the filmmakers show how most of these effects were created with models, not on a computer. How could the models look so fake? It's an amazing feat to turn something real into something that seems artificial. I highly recommend avoiding this movie. It's simply a crude, thoughtless cash-in on the popularity of the first film. This movie (and Reloaded) will go down in history as the two worst sequels ever. The difference in quality between the first film and these sequels is so great, you can't help but wonder: What happened?

Review: The first Matrix was incredible. The second one sucked but i sat through that one without too much of a fuss. But this one was basically "Sleepless in Seattle" with a gun here or there. Trust me, if you liked the first Matrix dont watch this one.
