Summary: If I could put No Stars, I would
Review: What a waste of time, horrible acting on Anakin's part. What a horrible actor, absolutely disgusting. He looks like a psycho on top of that! They should have gotten somebody better for his part. What a disgrace, he cannot act....AT ALL. Not only this, but the movie in general was a waste of time. A boring plot, dull story, just somewhat good special effects. If it wasn't for the midget, Yoda, doing foolish lightstick battles, this DVD would be nothing.

Summary: I wanted to LOVE it, but was so disapointed..... again!
Review: I drove all the way to Seattle to see this "film" projected digitally. I am a Star Wars fan. I was surprised that, in spite of all the gee-wiz eye candy and dramatic action, I was bored halfway through. The movie and it's characters fail to connect with the audience. AOTC is a souless, technical excercise. The dialogue is dreadful, the pacing is, well, odd. The acting is wodden and uninspired. What a pity; I'm afraid George has lost his touch. It was like an extended cut-scene from a video game, and it looked better (the trailer, I mean) as a Quicktime video on my computer at home. I wanted to like this movie. Out of 10, I'd give it a 4. What a dissapointment.

Summary: It beats The Empire Strikes Back
Review: The phantom menace brought us new characters, now we know who these characters are in episode II. Set ten years after the phantom menace, it felt like ten years. This is the best star wars movie ever, it has action, romance, battles and my favorite is Count Dooku "trying" to compete with Yoda. The vehicles are great too, The phantom menace looked too far advanced with weapons and vehicles, but this one is more earth toned vehicles that look nice but not too nice, I love the republic cruisers that carry the clone troopers, the slave I makes its first appearance since 1980. And R2-D2 was great he can do everything with his gadgets and tools, that droid can do everything. I especialy like when Chancellor Palpatine and Anakin are together, it is all starting to add up to the original episodes, even the empire music gets played. The best part of this movie is watching Anakin, the way he acts with Padme, the way he gets jealous of Obi-Wan, When he goes to Tatooine, when he confronts count dooku, this is also great because of the digital effects.

Summary: Star Wars The Adventure Continues
Review: The epic adventure of the Skywalker family continues a few years after the events in Star Wars Episode I.
The coolest thing to me about this new movie is the CGI Characters like the New Digital Yoda.
A New Hope for me is that Episode III
is as action packed as this movie.
I just got back from seeing Episode II at an
Imax Theater in Minnesota, You got to see this movie
on an Imax Screen.

Summary: Cringeworthy
Review: The SFX in the digitally-projected version look much better, but the horrendous dialogue, thrown-together plot and lousy acting (particularly between the two love birds) ruin the film.

Sam Jackson, Christopher Lee and the final battle sequence are the only saving graces.

Summary: The Worst, Most Dissapointing Movie of 2002!
Review: When I went to see this movie at the movie theater, I was hoping that I would see a grand masterpiece set in a unique universe. Something epic and imaginative. The entire movie I was hoping that it would turn out to be inspiring as the first three movies were With this latest insatallment of the Star Wars saga, George Lucas completely ruined the potential as he did with episode I, that these storys (after the original Star Wars movies') could have. The scenes are overloaded with digital affects making it seem more like your playing Playstation than watching a flick. Some of the storys situations are far fetched to say the least, particularly the scene of a colosseum of giant flying insects (or whatever they are supposed to be) The acting is awful.....I literally began to laugh at the scene when the young Darth Vader visits his mothers grave.

George, George, George....whats up? You can do so much better! What made your first three Star Wars movies so awesome was letting your audiences use thier imaginations, not having the entire universe you created (along with your fans) just spelled out for them in deatail! I am huge Star Wars fan by the way. I know the first three movies inside out, backwards and forwards, but these last two were no good. You let the need to see everything you wanted to see visually move you and not the emotion of the story....oh well, at least you can correct this problem on the next one.

Summary: Fun to watch
Review: Having just seen Attack of the clones on the big screen I felt I can now write a review, unlike some people who have seen the trailers and decided to rate this film. The fight scenes are great, no doubt about it. However the acting from some of the cast is shakey at best, Ewan is good as Obi Wan, as expected of him he delievers his character very well. The plot is better than Phantom Menace, and flows well in the film. However there is a lot of jumping to and fro from one character to another, it is almost a relief when they hooked up together. The last 30 min are the best by far, but this film is lacking an evil bad guy like the first three. Jango Fett does not live up to the hype, and Christopher Lee is only involved at the end really, there is just no Darth Vader. I think that if Mr Lucas had let someone else direct the acting would be a little better, and the heavy use of CG does not help them fit into their roles. Worth a see, but The Two Towers is still the one to wait for.

Summary: Pretty Good. Expecting better from the next episode.
Review: While many of my friends bagged it out saying it was not very good, i thought it was really really good. you decide.

By the way, what kind of a fool recommends The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (Platinum Series Extended Edition) INSTEAD OF Star Wars - Episode II, Attack of the Clones (Widescreen)?

I mean fair enough in addition to, but instead of is just going too far.

Those poor misguided people......

Summary: The best live action DVD Video Transfer EVER!
Review: The best animated DVD video transfer is Monsters, Inc. I just wanted to get that out of the way!

The DVD for Star Wars Episode II looks and sounds fantastic. The video image is purely a digital image that looks unbelievable! This has to be the best Live Action DVD transfer ever! TPM looked good on DVD too, but that one reached a film transfer so it didn't look as good, but since Lucas decided to film this movie entirely in digital video, the image didn't even get touched by film, it is a flawless pure image! The video looks even better in WIDESCREEN. Please, do not buy the fullscreen version unless you truly truly hate the black bars, but if you can handle them, then please do the DVD industry a favor and purchase the widescreen version, because that is the best way to watch a movie on this scale! Please get this DVD!
