Review: This movie is the best movie I have ever seen. It is a blast of martial art fun, and yet great superhuman moves. Neo is just another guy, when someone contacts him offering an answer to the question, 'What is the Matrix?'. You go through a thrilling ride as Neo's questions are answered and he realizes that he needs to save a world which is unknowingly controlled by AI (Artificial Intellegence). This is a must-see movie and I highly recommend you get the soundtrack!

Review: This movie is the best movie i'v seen all year. Keano Reeves did a great job in this movie. The plot was so well thought of the only reson it was raited R was for one scene in the middle of the movie when they go into this bilding and shoot evoryone but they arent people they are robots. I wouldent recomend this movie to about 7 and under. If you like sci-fi and suspenceyou will love this movie...

Review: This movie is the best Sci/fi to drop for 1999 and none can touch it. It just breaks out in a way that no one expected or even saw before. The action scenes are unreal and are a mix of stop and go action that just takes u away. It's not onl just action...the storyline is deep and makes u think about the world we live in. It just opens up so many new doors for being creative and made predicting the future a lil harder now according to them. I like how they made it so similar to our world and send out a message...well a lot..without giving out too many clues. This is one of my best videos for 99 and i'm not losing or selling for nothing. This will even be good after 2000 unless the things we see become true. This is entertainment at its best. I want to give the writer some advic

Summary: a cheap reason for expensive effects
Review: This movie is the most disappointing film that I have seen. That doesn't mean it was the worst, just disappointing after such high hopes for it.
It has horrible actors. Keanu Reeves should really not be allowed to play any parts that involve speaking. The lines Trinity (Carry-Anne Moss) are rather uninspiringly lame, akward, and sound so unnatural when she speaks.
The story is based on an interesting idea, that challenges our idea of life. However, the way that it was developed was so terrible. The movie focused more on something that would have cool effects, than something important. The ending was probably the worst. It was dumb, horribly disappointing, and it almost seemed as the director was shooting for generic.
Even most bland action movies at least had cool action sequences if nothing else. The millions of dollars for computer special effects actually detracted from the movie. Most things in the movie, like the fight scene between Neo and Morphius, looked slow and very synthetic. You do have to hand it to the special effects department for some cool looking graphics.
In summary: horrible story +story development, uninspiring script, terrible acting, and slow and artificial action. If you still believe in a good story over overpaid visuals, you should definetly stay clear.

Review: This movie is THE sci-fi film of the 90s. It has suberb visuals and a smart script. The soundtrack also contributes to the atmosphere. The DVD is LOADED with special features and it would be a crime to own a DVD-ROM and not have this movie in your collection.

Summary: Better than Star Wars
Review: This movie is the the coolest idea since the first Star Wars movie. Every penny spent on special effects was well worth it. I'm not much of a Keanu Reeves fan, but he was excellent in this role. I heard a lot of people complain about the ending and I would just like to tell those people that it is a trilogy. By trilogy I mean 3, this is only the first installment of this captivating and intense cinematic experience. See it, you won't be disappointed.

Review: This movie is too good to be true. Finally, Hollywood comes out with a movie that has great actors, awesome plot, suspense out the wazoo, and the most incredible special effects. You had better go to the bathroom before the movie starts becuase you will not want to get up at ALL. And when the last hour of the movie comes around, prepare yourself...hoo boy. This is THE ride.
