Summary: A lot of sound and fury signifing nothing.
Review: A bunch of unoriginal crud. Which scene is worse? The endless dance scene in the post apocolyptic leather bar or the goofy french wannabe guy? The directors have chosen wacky robotic monotones for the actors and the diologue is full of pompous meaningless fortune cookie babble.

Summary: Great Movie?
Review: [...]As mentioned before, the second movie is more for the thinker and is very likely a better prequel than sequel.

What I am basically asking for, is that those who are intellectually challenged rather give this movie a miss.
Listening to your grade school banter in between action scenes ruins the movie for most and makes any dialogue all but audible.

Thanks to Warner for another great movie!!!

Summary: ONE UP ON THE ORIGINAL !
Review: FOR ALL THOSE WHO DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE MOVIE .... NO PROBLEMO ..GO AND SEE IT AGAIN . IT IS SUPERIOR TO THE ORIGINAL NOT ONLY IN TERMS OF ITS TECHNOLOGICAL ACHIEVEMENTS BUT ALSO IN VIEW OF ITS FUNDAMENTALS ( OR SHOULD WE SAY , ITS CONCEPT ) . THOUGH THE REVELATIONS ARE NOT MIND BOGLING , BUT THEY STILL CAUSE A FLUTTER OR TWO IN YOUR MIND . ONLY COMPLAINT THAT I HAVE AGAINST IT IS THAT IT LEAVES THE VIEWER IN A SOUP....WHERE YOU HAVE TO EAT ALL OF IT TO COME OUT OF IT .... IN THIS CASE, THE MOVIE LEAVES THE VIEWER THIRSTY FOR MORE AND FRUSTRATINGLY KEEPS HIM WAITING FOR THE THIRD PART i,e . MATRIX : REVOLUTIONS . THAT WORD ..."TO BE CONCLUDED " HAS LEFT SO MANY IN A ANGRY FRAME OF MIND . OTHERWISE IT IS THE COOLEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR YET AND A WORTHY SEQUEL .

Summary: blah
Review: This is a bad movie. The action scenes were already done before during the first Matrix movie and the countless Hong Kong-Jet Li-John Woo movies that were already released years before that, which unfortunately, people don't seem to care about. There's simply too much philosophical babble and individual speeches. The script was so weak; it made us care less about the people in the movie, it could only be best described as detached. Besides, too many characters have unclear roles; such as Monica Bellucci; what was her role? To French Kiss Keanu Reaves? That's it? And, the Keymaker? The Architect? The Merovingian? Who are they? Oh I get it, the Keymaker's role is to open doors....The plot has much more holes than a shotgun riddled shirt. What was that rave dance for? Can anyone explain to me what happened to Agent Smith? But anyway, who cares, right? because it's the much-hyped action scenes that were the selling point of the movie. Actually, the flow of the movie was very predictable: a speech, followed by a slam-bang thank you ma'm action scene and then some further philosophizing followed by another slam-bang action scene. How many kung-fu/wu-shu fight scenes and slow-motion does it have to take to get your point across? The fight scene of the 100 or more Agent Smith vs. Neo was so roughly made, you can immediately know that most of it was computer-generated. Just look and observe the face of Keanu Reaves as he hangs on the bar, goes around and kicks the Agent Smiths. Oh, the much talked-about highway action scene can only be described as a little better than what we have seen in Luc Besson's "Taxi" movies. The point is, it's all been done before, perhaps much better previously than this.

Summary: my head hurts
Review: This movie had my attention up untill the first fight scene with Neo and Agent Smith. Usually when you see a fight you want it you strike some emotion in you. What did I feel for Neo? Nothing. The fight was not even needed in the movie, it didn't set a course of actions or anything like that. At the end when Neo flew away it hit me. This whole fight was just an apology from the writers as if saying "we might not be good at writing but look what our budget allows us to do". Or as if saying, "sorry about the long talking scene, here is some action to make you more interested wheee!"

If I was seeing the movie alone I would have left then, it only got more disapointing. It kept with the same pattern of talk scene, and then action scene, all the way up to the end where Neo meets the father of the matrix (played by the ghost of Colonel Sanders)

The only upside to the movie was Agent Smith (one of the only people who could act and didn't give me a headache listing to) But sadly his part in the movie was short and served no real purpose. This movie was the biggest dissapointment of the summer. The Wachowski brothers had the right idea, it just wasn't executed very well.

Summary: hmm...
Review: While some of the effects was amazing, it's the cheap one liners that bother me. The plot was decent enough, kind of had that Star Trek/Star Wars vive to it but wasn't too bad. The acting wasn't all that great though, making even Bill and Ted seem more compelling then Fishborune and Reeves. I have to say that they should've loaded then reloaded. The first Matrix was so much better. I'm not saying that Reloaded was as bad as a wasted sequel like Men in Black 2, but the Reloaded crew "could've" done a much better job. I liked it enough to go see part 3, but I didn't like it enough to go buy the dvd when it comes out. I will own the first Matrix and only the first Matrix.

Summary: Sexual Content!
Review: Sexual content does not belong in a movie which may seem like a action packed "FAMILY" film! There is a sceen where the village people are bumping and grinding in some kind of esotic dance to celebrate the battle against the machines. Then there's another sceen where Neo and his girl are doing it in the bedroom.

If this movie was pure action like part one, without the dirty stuff, I would have given it a much higher rating. If you're taking your 10 year-old kids with you to the movie theater, then go see Finding Nemo instead. I don't think you'll see Nemo "doing it" with his female fish friends.

Summary: The Matrix Flummoxed
Review: Before the bashing of my review/rating gets underway, I'll explain my star rating:

Plus 2 Stars - There are moments in this film that make you feel and wonder. The cinematics are well done.

Minus 3 Stars - For an eagerly awaited -and much hyped - movie, The Matrix Reloaded seems more apt to fit the title: The Matrix Flummoxed.

The movie lacks the dark mystery of the first seemingly to go the way of "sequel fever." It's not the hype that doomed this movie, it was the script. Part II aims at the dumbest of the world's population with eye-popping effects rivaling the Star Wars Prequels without much in the way of story or good dialogue between computer animated fluff. There's a part in this movie where Neo flies ala Superman (and one character makes a joke about it, honestly saying that the scriptwriter knew he was ripping off something) and another that he combats 500 or so Agent Smith's from the first film. Needless to say, while eye-catching, it wastes a good 10 minutes of screen time on something so utterly unbelievable, that it mocks the fantasy of films.

I have seen this film twice before reviewing it just so I could fully understand what I'm writing. I'm not trying to trash the movie on grounds of hype, not in any way. What I am disappointed in is how confusing the storyline is, if there truly is one, and how underdeveloped the script must have been in production. The movie seems like a series of disjointed Jackie Chan-style action sequences mixed in with a glimpse of the original story.

You don't enter this movie feeling like you've come far from the first film, rather it sets a sense that it is a totally different movie altogether. There's no connection other that skeletal framework, i.e., Zion, The Oracle, Agent Smith and the characters. Reeves (Neo) lays heavily on cliched dialogue, as does Fishburne (Morpheous), but Moss (Trinity) is about the brightest spot in the film. Her character plays an integral role in the film and really, fair is fair, it seems to be mostly about her and what happens to her from the opening of the movie.

I'd go deeper into the movie, however there are tidbits that shouldn't be exposed, so I have left out some stuff. I'll tell you this much - Remove the fluff and you've got 40 minutes of a decent film out of a 2 hour and 17 minute running time.

On a final note, since Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions were written and shot as one, I'm curious to see if Revolutions can pull off the fast one. For example, part II being as confusing and disjointed as it is for a reason and we'll kick ourselves for not "getting it" in Reloaded. I hope that's the case.

Summary: A great movie that leaves you wanting more..
Review: The Matrix Reloaded was an excellent movie although not what I expected. My expectations were that it was going to be all action and not focusing to much on the mythology of the matrix or even on the love story of Neo and Trinity. To my suprise the love story is an intrict part of the movie, and the movie does explain much of the information that the first movie lacked telling us. Even with this added, there was plenty of action in the movie. As such, a mix of these three themes made the movie rather enjoyable. If you enjoyed the first movie, see the second and give it a chance before making your final judgement on it.

Summary: Splendid sequel, one of the year's very best.
Review: The adventures of Neo ( Kenau Reeves) continues with with friends " Morpheus" ( Lawrance Fishburne) and " Trinity" ( Catherine Ann Moss) with " Matrix Reloaded" as our heroes go on a quest to find the designer of "The Matrix" named " The Architect" ( played by Helmut Bakaltis) and battles against the evil " Agent Smith" ( Hugo Weaving) again.

The plot is a little complex but this one was very entertaining and full of action with some great battle scenes especially when Neo is battling a bunch of Agent Smith like clones. I can't believe some people are complaining about the acting, ending and script to this movie, it's very misunderstood just like last year's Attack of the Clones but these are two great movies that are meant for entertaininment purposes.

But one thing i didn't like about it was " the Dance club" scene! i mean that had got to be the most ridiculous out of place dance scene in a movie since the one from " Mac and Me". But the ending leaves up to be continued until " Thanksgiven" when " Matrix Revolutions" comes out, don't let the jerks tell you this is bad all you have to do is just see this movie as many times as you want and be entertained.
