Summary: Highly Enjoyable, But Missing....Something
Review: This movie is an excellent example of what CGI can do for a fantasy/sci-fi movie-and getting Sean Connery to do Draco's voice makes it that much more believable(and commanding)! Dennis Quaid's performance was top-notch; I've always thought he was a highly underrated actor, and this role gave him a chance to do something out of the mainstream. Unfortunately, the movie just didn't hit all the right places it should've. I learned recently that is was to have a much darker, more dramatic tone, and I honestly think it would've been that much more believable for it. Granted, the ending was powerful and touching(Draco's plea to Bowen to sacrifice his life to defeat Einon was heartbreaking), but the rest of the movie, had it had that kind of dramatic power, would have made it a much more engaging experience. Overall, though, a very enjoyable and otherwise excellent movie!

Review: I first saw this movie in theaters back in 96' and thought it was terrific! The special effects of Draco are fantastic and the cast is great. Granted some minor points in this picture could have been improved, but overall this is a very enjoyable movie. If you love Dragons like me, then you will love this movie.

Review: Besides Labyrinth, this is the greatest movie ever! I love dragons and Draco. The characters are great and the voice of Draco the dragon fit perfectly. I rate it even higher then 5 (but they didn't list anything higher then 5).

Review: Dragonheart is not the type of movie that you can watch just once, but unfortunately, most people have and didn't think much of it. Dragonheart has the type plot that makes you think. There's lots of symbolism and literary elements in it. My mom thought the movie stank because Bowen didn't have any morals, but that WAS the whole plot of the movie! It isn't about Bowen and Draco's scheme or even a peasant revolt! This movie is about how Bowen, and a whole country have been corrupted by greed. They turn to a new era of living by the Old Code when Einen dies. I wish places like Amazon and Mr. Showbiz (which sucks, by the way) would stop rating movies by the surface plots and looking a little deeper.

Review: I thought this movie would be good... but when i saw it....... well let's just say they easily could've improved the story. It was one of the WORST stories i've ever seem!!! that's why i gave it such a low rating.... the graphics in it were awesome (loved the dragons!!!!) but overall... let's face it.. the movie sucked!!

Review: This is the most amazing movie. I have seen it at lease 12 times, and always cry at the end. You have to read the book, or the movie. Just try it! you'll love it!

Review: After several attempts, this disk only plays in 2 channel stereo. The DTS mode does not work. I've checked with others that have purchased and they two have the same problem. I returned it.

Review: It was miss rated, it was PG-13 in theaters, I only remember it because it was the first PG-13 film I ever saw. It was, I think, the best film I ever saw. I saw it when I was nine and I thought it was a thrilling movie. It left me on the edge of my seat!

Review: This is a great movie if you love fantasy and dragons. Draco is the best dragon that I have seen out of all the movies I have seen. This movie combines action, fantasy, and drama all into one. This, I think, is a must see!
