Rating: Summary: The 10th Kingdom: Greates Mini Series Around! Review: It was great! You'll fall in love with the story and the characters every time you watch it. There is something magical about it that makes you feel like a kid. Hallmark hasn't had something this great since Merlin. I highly suggest you buy The 10th Kingdom on Dvd.
Rating: Summary: Every girl will have a crush on Scott Cohen by the end! Review: Unbelievable! I really went into it thinking that I'd never be able to stand 5 days of this mini-seiries, boy was I wrong! But, I must say that the main reason I stayed with it was because of the ever charming Wolf, played by Scott Cohen. Girls if your even thinking about buying this, go for it! When you see him you won't be dissapointed! He's rougueishly handsome and mouth-wateringly charming (pant, pant!)! The way they intertwine the fairy tales is absolute genious, though I wish Sleeping Beauty had been mentioned as one of the great queens, I think she deserved to be. The Trolls get on your nerves at times, they are EXCEPTIONALLY stupid, but you get past that. You WILL get swept up in it, I promise! The end eluded to a sequil, oh please, NBC, how can I live without one! I'm dying to know what happens next!
Rating: Summary: A Fabulous Journey! Review: This is a very nicely done miniseries. I saw it on the television, but on video it is even better! I love the characters Virginia, Wolf, Tony, and Prince Wendell because they each have their own personalities. Another great aspect of the movie is the way the plot twists and turns. When you think one thing will happen, the exact opposite occurs! The best part about it, though, is that this isn't one of your average fairy-tales. It is a modern-day, more adventurous fairy-tale packed with every emotion imaginable. In short, this is a movie that nobody can miss!
Rating: Summary: I always wanted to famous. Review: I really loved this movie. The theme song was stuck in my head for days. My favorite part was when Wolf cut Virginia's hair, she looked terrible, which is no small feat. Acorn the dwarf was a nice touch, my heart wrenched when he showed up in the swamp as the Swamp Witch. I thought really thought he was the witch. What an amazing cast. The trolls were especially funny, they sang old 70's songs and had such lines as "three trolls with the courage of one" and "we haven't heard anything, we've been gold." What a creative and daring concept. I only wish I were this creative. There was alot of foreshadowing, but not so much it gave away anything except the stuff you already knew. Everyone was connected to everything that happened there. Minimal cussing and violence. A short scuffle towards the end, but the Queen and huntsman were responsable for it.
Rating: Summary: Suck an Elf? Review: I finally saw this 10hour masterpeice and thought it was the best mini-series I had ever seen! I want to watch it over and over and over again! When you watch it...you'll see what I mean.
Rating: Summary: are you kidding? Review: there has to be something about a show that makes you think and not even think in a philosophical way. For 2 hours for 5 days, suspension of the real occurred and imagination took over. It made me sad when the show ended and I await eagerly to receive the feeling yet again.
Rating: Summary: Great Movie Review: I loved this movie! I felt insulted when all those reviews said that it stunk! This movie was very good: the effects were great, the story line was great, and the cast was great! Overall I gave this video five stars.
Rating: Summary: "Huff Puff! Another great movie!" Review: This was a great movie. The casting was wonderful, the book was well written, and the music added to the movie alot. Mr.Cohen did a wonderful job as Wolf, Mrs.Williams was great also. How did the director come up with such a good cast? And the little extra chars added alot of touch to the story, it made it just perfect. The connection between the Queen and Virginia was also added to the wonderful plot. If you have never seen this movie my fictonal char Fox has only one thing to say, "Get it now! Oh and...Virginia move over Wolf is mine! *shoves Virginia away and grabs Wolf* Mine!"So as you can see you'll love the book and all the action, terror, drama, and all the other great elements of the story and movie. Aaron (friends char):*takes out his gun and grabs Fox* I thought you liked me! Fox: I was joking! *kisses Aaron*
Rating: Summary: FABULOUS! Review: This is quite honestly the BEST made-for-tv movie I have ever seen! It is long (approx 6 hours), but you'll be glued to your seat, not wanting it to end! I'm hoping there's a sequel because I fell totally in love with these characters, especially Wolf & Virginia. This movie is great for the whole family, if you love fantasy, action, romance, adventure and comedy. Adults will love all the scenes that go over their kids' heads. My friend commented that in some of the scenes if you weren't watching and just listening you would do a double-take! "What did he say! " Lots of sexual inuendos. Lots of comedy. Lots of adventure, romance, magic, drama, horror, and fun fun fun! Hope I didn't shout too much. I just love this movie!
Rating: Summary: An Excellent Mini-Series Review: This has to have been one of the best mini-series on Television in recent years. The writing was excellent, and the actors all did a superb job. Outstanding among the actors is Scott Cohen, who brought the charactor of Wolf so vividly to life. If you enjoy fairy tales, and want to know what happens AFTER Happily Ever After, this movie is worth watching.
