Rating: Summary: Where was the fight between Scorpion and Sub-Zero?? Review: Bad directing, bad special effects, bad fight sceens. This movie was a let down from the start. The first movie had the two ninjas as allies...now they finally get to fight in this one, but what happens? As with most of the fights, it was very short. Even being such an MK fan as myself I just couldn't get into it. Very poor
Rating: Summary: No matter what anyone says, it was a great movie. Review: Hey, this movie was excellent with the fight sequences, even though most of the characters got killed quickly, and had little to do with the plot. I liked the character of Shao Kahn, and the cyberninjas, and I just wish that Nightwolf had been involved in the fighting. Even though I wish they had brought in more characters, they made good use of the ones they had, and I say screw you all who think it wasn't good!
Rating: Summary: Where is the plot? Review: "Mortal Kombat-Annihilation" had spectacular previews and hype surrounding it as it was the sequel to the motion picture incarnation of the most successful videogame of all time. Unfortunately, upon sscrutinizing the movie, I learned how decietful hype can be. Stereotyped characters (or just symbolic representations of them used for the initiation of fight sequences--which take up virtually all of the movie--) and terrible acting don't help raise the movie's status. The motion picture has very weak CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) as well as virtually no plot. At one point, the filmmakers attempt a subplot but give it up without an explanation.
Rating: Summary: good Review: goo
Rating: Summary: The Best Mortal Kombat EVER!!! Review: I think this movie was better than the first one with all the action in the fights and that there were more characters. The special effects were awesome! Nuff said! BUY THE MOVIE!!!!!!1
Rating: Summary: WAY BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL! Review: I saw this movie before the original, and I flipped. My fave character is Rayden (Why did they change the spelling?) because he was so honest. He was the best thing in the movie, and that plot twist with him beinh Shao Khan's brother freaked my out. I actually like the new Sonya better, because she was more in character than the original. Jax was great, Liu was OK, but my second fave character was Nightwolf. How cool can this guy get? The only thing that sucked was his small part. All in all, this movie was the best! Great acting (I worship James Remar, who made Rayden a sensitive and caring character, rather than a stupid side joke like the original), Great special effects (how cool was Motaro, and a really amazing plot (How could you not cry when Rayden died to save his team of warriors?) Mortal Kombat: Annhilation was truly amazing. the only really bad thins that now that Rayden's an Elder God (Which he deserved) he wont be in the sequel Maybe they'll think up something (I hope!)
Rating: Summary: Just as bad as the cartoon TV series Review: A lot of the actors that where in the first probaly chose not to be in the second, because it is what my one-line summary of my review says.
Rating: Summary: Pretty Good But Not As Good As The First Movie Review: Anihalation was okay but it made weak jokes and it was hard to understand but it was still pretty good
Rating: Summary: Could have been better Review: Well im a die hard Mortal Kombat fan, i thought they had enough characters They destroyed rayden . They tried to shove the the story of mk2 and mk3 together but it just wasnt working...part 3 will be better im sure.
Rating: Summary: THIS MOVIE SUCKED ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Review: I have to say that the 1st MK movie was not bad...but this movie is one of the worst movies i have ever seen. Bad acting, different actors and actresses who can't even act!, bad special FX and it has more plot hole than a spagetti strainer!
