Rating: Summary: Only the lonely Review: If you loved the first Stuart Little movie, then you should highly reccomend to check this movie out. It is funnier than the orginal (in my opinion) you may not agree with me. I waited to rent Jonathan Lipnicki's earlier summer movie "Like Mike", but all the copies was out on dvd and just was on video. And it is a fat chance that I will rent it on video. First I should point out that there are changes from the first movie. Just Mr. and Mrs. Little and thier sons George and Stuart Little are back along with both Monty (he is in a short part of the movie) and Snowbell are back. And everybody else that was in the first movie are not back. As the movie opens, Stuart Little (Michael J. Fox) goes to the same school as George Little (Jonthan Lipnicki). Mr. Little (Hugh Laurie) and Mrs. Little (Geena Davis) allow Stuart to drive to and from school in his car, but his old brother George has to be with him. George now has a new friend named Will (Marc John Jefferies). And Stuart is lonely until one day when a bird named Margalo (Melaine Griffth) falls into his car on his way home from school. Monty has only 2 scenes in this movie. The other changes I have seen fom this one is that now Stuart shares his bedroom with George and now George has a kid sister in this movie as well.
Rating: Summary: Totally terrific Review: In this day and age, it is very hard to find family films that are all joy and no terror. This is one of the rare additions to that genre. It's every bit as good, and maybe even better than the first Stuart Little film. Everything about the film is a delight, including the embellishments to the original E.B. White novel, Stuart Little. In the book, Stuart's mother drops her engagement ring down the drain, and her mouse-sized, mouse of a son drops down after it. In this film, the ring is lost in quite another way. Stuart dresses up in foul weather gear for a jaunt in last week's meat loaf and comes up short. The film emphasizes the importance of families, no matter how they are made, the enduring value of friendships, through thick and thin, and the power of positive thinking. Sappy? You bet. And we all loved every minute of it. --Alyssa A. Lappen
Rating: Summary: Did I like this better than the original? Review: Maybe...I'd have to watch the first one again. But I do know that is one of the precious few sequels that lives up to its predecessor. Stuart Little 2 is an absolutely adorable movie for the whole family and group of friends. It's cute, it's funny, it's kinda sweet. It's not too long, but if the story had been drawn out longer than 80 minutes it might have gotten tedious and dull. Perhaps they were wise in keeping it short. Everyone thinks Stuart is too small to do anything himself. His mother treats him like a baby, and his brother is too busy playing with his friends to play with him. Snowbell the cat, hilariously voiced by Nathan Lane, is still getting used to living peacefully with a mouse. Then Stuart meets a canary named Margalo and helps her fix her hurt wing. The two become good friends, and Stuart finally has someone his own size who understands him. But like always, there's a catch. Margalo is working for the evil Falcon, voiced by James Woods, an excellent bad guy as always. (In fact, this role is somewhat similar to Hades from "Hercules.") Falcon wants Mrs. Little's super-valuable ring, and Stuart doesn't know that the whole thing is a scam for Margalo to steal it. But in the end, Margalo joins the side of good, and everything works out. She flies south for the winter...but like Stuart says, she'll be back in the spring. Stuart Little 2 is an enjoyable film with something for everyone. I'll definitely be buying this one when it comes out.
Rating: Summary: Be Careful - DVD Problems! Review: My rating reflects the DVD - NOT the movie! My wife and two children were very excited to get this DVD and watch it, but much to our frustration we have found that this DVD will not play on our Philips DVD702 player. It seems that, in trying to protect their products from multi-region DVD players, Sony - Columbia/Tristar is keeping those of us with single region players from seeing this movie as well! This appears to be a "wide-spread problem" according to Customer Service and, unfortunately, Sony - Columbia/Tristar offers NO SUPPORT for their DVD customers via their website. They could learn something from Disney here. Use caution with this DVD, you may get a good look at the box and the bonus features, but very little else.
Rating: Summary: My opinions for Stuart Little 2 Review: Stuart Little 2 is a nice movie. It gives me some inspirations. Although I didn¡¦t see part 1,but I think it must be as great as part 2. In addition, many people said "Stuart Little 2 is one of the best family movies of the summer. "So I think that this would be called "summer family" movie. It is more different than other movies, because it is more interesting than others, and teaches me that "Union is strength."And I think this movie is warm;it is suitable for all family to see tighter.

Rating: Summary: Delightful family fare Review: Stuart Little is the middle Little, he also happens to be a very well-dressed mouse. In this sequal, Stuart is struggling to find friends and interests that suit his special situation. He finds a friend and adventure and the lessons learned are valuable for other little people (like kids, perhaps) who feel the world is structured for people larger than them. I'm in love with the look of this film; the colors and textures delight the eye. Nathan Lane is back as Snowbell, and he gives a perfect comic performance. The story draws you in and holds the attention of even the most fidgety toddler and the most jaded parent. The characters are sympathetic and likable. Unfortunately, these qualities are missing in too many movies meant for children. This is a rare case where the sequal is actually better than the original. If you liked Stuart Little, you will love Stuart Little 2. The film is rated PG but my three-year-old daughter did not find it too scary. It's themes of friendship, family and finding a place that fits make it a worthy addition to your family movie library.

Rating: Summary: Little Love Review: The makers of Stuart Little have somehow managed to combine modern life (Stuart and his friend Will play PS2) with the Littles' retro approach to life and parenting. Each character is well-defined, and the animation is first-rate. Because I'm a life-long New Yorker who loves the city, the thing I loved the most about the movie was the way it celebrates New York and New Yorkers, especially in the climactic scene which I wouldn't dream of spoiling.
Rating: Summary: Mouse Hunt Review: The sequel to the E.B. White story of Stuart Little is so amazing and much better than the first. Kids will love the sequel if they enjoyed the first E.B. White story Stuart Little and Charolette's Web. Rob Minkoff did a great job making the sequel. Michael J. Fox was so amazing doing his act as Stuart Little.
