Review: I believe that this movie is one of the greatest. Hugh Jackman is the man, sexy, tough, the man of the year. Sexist man of all times. Wish that I could meet him and let him know he is the sex god to all women. I saw him on the awards show, that long hair is the sexiest. Love all of his movies.

Summary: A worthy successor
Review: In this day and age of lousy sequels, it's great when a filmmaker manages to up the ante and deliver an even better movie than the one that precedes it. "X2" is one such example.Although it's recommended you see the first movie to familiarize yourself with this one, it's not totally necessary. This one has a bigger budget, and goes further into the character development without sacrificing any quality. If Bryan Singer can make the third movie as good as this one, we'll be in for a real treat. Wachowski Brothers, you might want to take some notes.

Review: The unforgettable scene of this movie is the one in which sacrifice and complete unselfishness rise up and highlight the noble characteristics of humanity that includes the mutants. This single moment in the film makes watching it worthwhile and gets under the skin of each and every viewer; there wasn't a dry eye in the theatre hall during and after this scene. I remember a few scenes in that caliber in past movies. They have always defined the essence of the movie and have always set the impression that would last long after the movie is finished. For these kids of spiritual ascensions are people drawn to watch motion pictures - for these singular and rare moments in which the thought and belief that there is hope for mankind - in all of its diversity - emerge in its most glorious incarnation. ============================================================= In this film, the mutants, whatever their goals may be, stand united (at least for a while) against a common and formidable enemy that wishes to destroy them because of what they are. As with many science fiction releases, there is a strong reference in the events of this film to the dark and terrible past of humanity. This readiness to allude and remind the viewers parts of human history, as was the case in the first X-Men movie, gives this movie the right to exist and stand as an important educational vehicle for the young generation, this film's main audience. The fact that all of this is wrapped in the most appealing package of top-notch special effects does not diminish the success of the filmmakers to convey their messages but strengthen it by attracting as many education candidates as possible. Take your kids and enjoy the ride.

Review: The story is exciting, there are a lot of action and suspense.
You never get bored.
In this highly enjoyable sequel, the warring parties from the first instalment are forced into a partnership of necessity to battle against an scientist, Colonel William Stryker (Brian Cox), who is determined to kill all the mutants. To this end, in an excellent opening sequence, he coerces a teleporting mutant by the name of Nightcrawler into an attempt on the President's life with the purpose of turning both the public and the oval office against mutant kind.
All the favourite X-people from the first instalment including Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Magneto (Ian McKellen), Professor X (Patrick Stewart), Storm (Halle Berry), Rogue (Anna Paquin), Mystique (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos), Cyclops (James Marsden) and Famke Janssen (as Dr Jean Grey). In addition they are joined by three other mutants, Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming), Pyro (Aaron Stamford) and Yuriko Oyama (Kelly Hu).
What follows is a superhero movie on par with "Spider-Man" and the best parts of the "Superman" and "Batman" series. "X2" is a too busy and farfetched, but it keeps twisting, and it features a great villain in Styker. In theme and approach, "X2" is similar to the second and best instalment of the "Star Trek" series, "Wrath of Khan" -- "X2" features a large sacrifice from a major character, and serves as a launching pad for future instalments. Just about anything could happen in "X3," and that's a testament to how well this movie is structured. Every important mutant is still on the playing field.
So I highly recommended it!

i really enjoyed this film even more then the first because it was more interesting to watch& new characters were added & twist at the end that prompted my mind in thinking they're was another film in the future . this is one not to miss in theaters. Highly recommended. a little tense of young children .

Review: I am a HUGE X-Men fan, so when i went to watch this, I had great expectations...and all of them were met...except that not all my favorite characters were involved (but what else are sequels for). The way it ended was great. It told me that there is going to be an X3: (Pheonix Rises). When I left the theatre i was soooo excited for the third x-men movie that i almost got into a car accident. SEE THIS MOVIE!!

Review: I felt this movie picked up where the first x-men left off. Following the x-men comics that I grew up with, they depiceted what the real consiquences where releasing the web of radiation up on all the x-men trying to mutate all the world leaders. Jean Gray perhaps suffered the most in that her powers were now at peak level. This movie didn't have the fake looking wolverine fighting sabertooth this time which I loved. I also really liked the way they handled wolverine finding out what really happend to him. Over all this movie rocks.
