Summary: Peter Pan with a Message
Review: This was a very poor sequel to the original PP. My 3 year old granddaughter watched the original over and over again. We thought she'd like this one so we took her -- she hated it! and so did we. When the ship came up over the roof like something in a Schwarzanager movie, it looked ridiculous. There were no Indians (not politically correct?), the crocodile was a stupid looking octopus, and the thrust of the movie had to do with proving Jane is equal to or better than Peter Pan. Come on - it's a kid's movie. Lighten up! Is this the best Disney can do?

Review: Return to Never Land is a great movie.
It was way more modern than #1 4 1 Peter said how good looking he was hmmm reminds me of sum guys i know... lol. But sum things never change like tink's jelousie 4 1.
Any way i highly recomend seeing. 2 thumbs up.

Summary: 'Return' for your little kids
Review: "I'll always believe in you Peter Pan." was the main phrase in this movie. I thought 'Return' was not as good as the first. I think Disney was putting this out as a backup. This movie should have gone direct-to-video. It didn't need to waist theatres screens. I think little kids 1-5 will enjoy it. I think it was to fast and you didn't really get into an adventure. One trashy part is that they named their dog Nana 2. How STUPID is that. This movie is a waist of money. Don't go see it! I do not recommend it!

Summary: Solid if unspectacular sequel
Review: Return has a number of stunning set pieces that look glorious on the big screen but lacks the punch of the original film. The story, while solid, is pedestrian and hints that, perhaps, this film was originally destined to be part of the direct to video sequels Disney has produced since Return of Jafar.The opening sequence featuring the first appearence of Hook's CG ship is stunning and well thought out. Unfortunately, the rest of the film fails to live up to this standard. The casting is impressive--the fellow they have voicing Hook sounds remarkably like Hans Conreid--and the animation remains fluid and smooth throughout the film. Return is strictly DVD/video rental or purchase material only. Sadly, despite a number of technical accomplishments, Disney appears to be going back to the well once too often. Return has a number of pleasing moments (particularly for less critical children in the 3-6 year old range) but will quickly lose anyone over the age of 8. The plotting is tired and betrays a direct to video lineage. While Return isn't a bad film, it's certainly a come down when compared to the original classic and even some of the recent animated fare the studio has churned out.

Summary: Ideal for Single Digit Kids Who Have Seen Peter Pan
Review: I saw this with my 4 year old daughter and we both had a terrific time. I recommend the movie to all parents with single-digit kids who have already seen the original Peter Pan. I agree with all the reviews that have pointed out that the animation is so-so and that the story is not completely realized; nonetheless, the character Jane is appealingly modern and self-reliant -- she becomes the first Lost Girl or the first female Lost Boy -- and the Lost Boys are delightful. The main song "I'll Try" becomes more effective as the movie progresses, and the principal theme - the importance of faith, trust, and imagination -- is wholesome and touching. The movie is pleasantly short (72 minutes, which accounts for the somewhat short-cutted transformation of Jane from non-believer to believer) and preceded by a nice and gentle 40's Pluto cartoon. The movie has some very brief scary scenes but little or no violence. The kids in the audience laughed a lot, and, I must admit, so did I. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and may even go again.

Review: Do you believe in Peter Pan and Never Land? I do. Well, if you don't, it's okay, you might go there anyway. Like Jane in "Peter Pan: Return to Never Land." Just watch it, okay? In theatres everywhere!

Summary: Excellent sequel to Peter Pan
Review: A thoughtful reworking of the tale of Peter Pan,
that now deals with a girl who grows up too quickly in
a world of wars and families torn apart. Amazingly
relevent to the post-Sept-11 psychology of our nation,
given the fact it has been in production for years. Excellent
animation: the arrival of Captain Hook's ship in wartime London
is breathtaking. As usual Disney is too heavy-handed with the
message, but there are still interesting things to think
about (e.g., the role of fantasy in dealing with trama).
The only negative is the final titles - ugly and blaring,
they ruin the mood of the film - they clearly appear to have
been added by someone other than the director at the last
minute. I'll look forward to getting the DVD (and skipping
the final titles!)

Summary: Return To Neverland
Review: Peter Pan is back in a new movie. Disney's Return To Neverland.
Peter Pan was first released in 1953. In this movie World War II has begun. Wendy now has two children, Jane and Danny. Jane and Danny's father is sent to be in the army. Wendy always told Danny about when she was in Neverland. Jane doesn't believe in magic though. All the kids have to be sent away to be in a safer place. Wendy didn't tell Jane and Danny that yet. When Wendy told Jane that she has to be sent away, she begins to cry. She then fell asleep on her window porch. She woke up and was kidnapped by Captain Hook. Captain Hook dropped Jane on his flying ship. Captain Hook thinks he kidnapped Wendy, but he kidnapped Jane. Jane is tied up in a big old sack. The flying ship then takes them to Neverland. When they arrive, Captain Hook dropped Jane in the water where there was a huge octapus.
Peter Pan then arrives and saves Jane. That's just the beginning, and I could talk more about the movie, but I would just spoil the whole movie for you. Return To Neverland is a great movie. Even though I am only a kid, I recommend it for all ages. Either see it or not, but if you don't see it, you will miss all the magic.

Summary: The Best Disney Sequel
Review: This has to be the best disney sequel. It does not even compare to little mermaid 2 or the other direct to video releases. If all disneys sequels were this great i wouldnt care so much. I would defeinitly go see this movie. They also got peter pan mr. smee's and captain hooks vocies pretty good. the only things missing are visits from the crocodile, john and michael.

Summary: Logical sequel to "Peter Pan"
Review: This is "Classic Disney" of the sixties, the timeless story telling I remember as a child. Twenty years from now, it will surprise the next generation that there were nearly forty years between the films. I took six kids (7 to 12 years old) to see this movie this afternoon - five of them hyperactive boys, and it kept them glued to the edge of their seats. Definitely a movie for the entire family. Highly recommend.
