Review: It was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I recommend it to any parent who wants his child to watch intelligent and sensitive movies. The characters are memorable and the music enchanting. I watched it over and over and still have chills while watching it. Bastian is a model for others because he has feelings of his own and thinks of the consequences of his actions. This movie truly is enchanting!!!

Review: Imagination is the key in this movie. Barret Oliver is one of the best young movie actors ever. This is one of his best movies. Noah Hathaway does well also. This movie is fun and suitable for anyone with imagination. As an added bonus, it has an excellent theme song too.

Review: I loved this movie when I was younger even though I first saw it 3 years after it came out. I've rented it every year since then until I finally bought it this year. I'm 15 years old, and I still watch it whenever I can. It is, in my mind, the best children's (and maybe adult's) movies ever made. It allows everyone to believe in dreams again. Don't pass this one up.

Review: This is a perfect childrens & adults flick anytime (sci-fi!) I have no kids (just my siblings kids) I am 26 years old and have two best friends one is 39 and one is 41. If you are ever bored on a friday night and have an "extended family" as I descirbed above then this movie makes for a perfect heart felt weekend evening! It's touching, pure, and at times overwhelming even though it is not very technically wonderful. I LOVE this movie even though its not specifically geared towards adults!

Review: I haven't seen this movie since I was maybe, nine. One day I flipped on the t.v. and it was on. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed watching it again. I came away with a better understanding of the importance of imagination and hold the story and the characters Atreju and Bastian close to my heart. It made me want to be a better person and no movie has ever done that for me before. If you ever get the chance, watch it. I garuntee you won't be able to watch just once. I love it now and will always love it.

Review: I got the DVD edition finally. I got what I'd expected: good quality in video. I don't expect good quality sound because it is a pretty old movies. During these days, do we have THX? So, Dobly Surround is fine for me. It is the storyline that counts. If you are, like me, a fan of fantasy stories (Lord of the Rings is coming...) you should not miss this movies. One bad thing about the story is that there are plot that was left over like the 'racing snail'. However, giving the short time available in movies, it is acceptable.
