Summary: the perfect movie
Review: Ok i know that most of these reviews were written by girls who love to gush about johnny depp and orlando bloom, so i thought i'd add a bit of male perspective.
Johnny Depp is a FANTASTIC ACTOR!!!!I've never seen anything like what he did.Absolutely brilliant.
Orlando Bloom was basicly stuck with the "pretty boy" role,but he was great and he made the most of his few funny lines.
Keira Knightly.....................................I know all the girls went to see the movie for Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp,but i went for Keira Knightly..............................Anyway.Geoffery Rush was great at his role.Everybody should see this movie.My ONLY complaint(and its very small)is that the end was a bit too perfect.My fantasy ending is that as Will and Elizabeth start making out,they should fall over the battlements like Jack Sparrow did.But it was a GREAT GREAT movie.

Review: I went to this moving think oh this is gonna suck. I was soooo wrong. How do I love this movie let me count the ways. 1.Jonny Depp is the best in this movie. I loved him as Jack Sparrow. It's funny Disney almost gave him the axe for the way he portrayed the Captin, but mostly it's his preformance that everybody loves. You got the felling her was one of thoes people who were so smart it makes them crazy.That and he's been living in his own little world far to long. He was just so funny and hot. 2. Orlando Bloom. Hot. British. Need I say more. 3.The monkey wasn't he cute. 3.Dead pirates hey they were funny. 4. Keira Knightley she rocked. you just know she gonna be a star. 5.Action this move had action, so you didn't mind your butt going numb so much. 6. Jonny and Orlando yummy twice. 8. Orlando and Jonny hubba hubba. Oh I could just go on and on about this movie but I'm going to go watch it instead

Review: I saw this movie 2 times. Once with my sister and once with my dad. This movie is mostly based on pirates trying to lood for the pearl. Johnny Depp is the main pirate. It was pretty funny so I had to see it again. This movie is more for the older kids because of strong language.

Summary: One of the best movies this year!
Review: Since I'm a big fan of Orlando Bloom and the ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, I really wanted to see this movie. I didn't keep my hopes up because I figured that the movie wouldn't be really good. I mean, Disney was so desperate for an idea that they used a theme park ride for inspiration. It might not be worthwhile, right? WRONG! I loved the movie. It begins with a 12-year old Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and a governor's daughter named Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) when they first met out at sea. Elizabeth notices that Will is wearing a pirates Aztec gold piece around his neck and takes it so that no one accuses him of being a pirate. Then time takes them to the present (at least for them it is). A hilariously funny pirate by the name of Captain Jack Sparrow comes to their town and stirs up some trouble. When the cursed pirates of the Black Pearl arrive for that Aztec gold the adventure begins. I don't want to give away the whole story so I'll stop there. Anyway, I guess you could say that it's a typical unanimated (is that a word?) Disney movie. But don't let that stop you. This is a great movie and I recommend it to anyone who wants to give it a try.

Summary: The perfect pirate film
Review: I'll be honest, if Johnny Depp was not in this movie, I would probably subtract a star. His performance is worthy of the Best Actor Oscar, without a doubt. Although it is a comedic performance, it's nonetheless flawless. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley make an attractive couple, and Geoffrey Rush delivers a strong performance as the cursed Captain Barbossa. I love the original ride in Disneyland, so I was hoping this film would be successful, and it was. The plot is effecient for carrying the movie, but I think I'd like it even if it was just 2 and a half hours of Johnny Depp sword-fighting with Geoffrey Rush. I was shocked at how hilarious this movie is. Depp is a natural comedian, and this could easily be his best performance. I wouldn't advise someone to take this movie too seriously - just watch it, forget the details and have fun.

Review: When I first heard of Pirates of the Carabean it seemed like a joke at first. I thought it would be just another cheesy action summer flick with a stupid plot and all about blowing stuff up. Hollywood is contantly telling me a movie doesn't need plot to be good, but every now in then a movie does have a plot and usually when it does, it's good.The acting in this movie is stunning! Now I know a lof of people are going "Orlando Bloom? That elf from LOTR? YES!" but the real reason I went to see the movie was for Johnny Depp's character, Jack Sparrow. Don't get me wrong, all the characters play their part VERY well but I think Johnny Depp did the best, mainly because his character role seemed harder than the others to play. The fight scenes in this movie are brillant. They're long, but unlike other movies th fight scenes aren't boring and repetative. Very well choreographed. The characters were great and likeable in this movie. Jack Sparrow always seems to ask the questions that are on our mind (in other words, the movie answers the questions its needs to answer) in a humerous way. The movie uses humor when appropriate and that's good. Many will say this movie is made by Disney so it must be bad. Who makes the movie doesn't matter, it's how the movie turns out. The plot in this movie was surprisingly good. It wasn't about pirates seeking a buried treasure but about pirates trying to break a curse bestowed upon them. I won't spoil any of the plot but for a movie like this it was masterful. My overall grade for this movie is a B+. The cons are that some parts move disturbingly fast, others move too slow. The small love story reminds me of my peers (teenagers). In other words of lof the movie is "Boy likes girl but is too nervous to ask her out". In the end of course, he gets the girl. Still, Pirates of the Carabean is an overall good movie. It'll keep your kids busy and will even entertain adults interested in some adventure.

Summary: One of the best movies I have ever seen in my life
Review: I mean every word in that review title. I never wanted to see this movie, I was dragged by my ear into the theator by my friend for the sole purpose of gawking at Orlando Blume (Who by the way, is very Hot). I loved this movie. It was outstanding in every aspect, the plot, the comedy, the score, EVERYTHING. I can never remember a movie being as fun as this one was. Many movies are entertaining, and have good plots and all, but for some reason, this one was just fun to watch. It's light and serious at the same time. The movie is like a fun ride that puts you in the seat. You don't just watch it, you actually feel like you're right on the front of the ship, flowing along from scene to scene, through the plot of the movie. Forget that line if it didn't make sense, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about when you see it. I liked the music ALOT on here. It brings out the atmosphere perfectly, but the funny thing is that it really is only 2 songs that play throughout the movie, but they are kick@$$ songs that go with the mood and really help the setting. You'd think with how many times they repeat the songs that you would get tired of it and annoyed, but it is not like that at all. The music just blends really well with the whole picture and does its job of setting up the atmosphere. A few times I didn't even realize there was music, simply because the pictures and sounds blended together so well. That's what music in movies is supposed to do! While I say that Orlando Blume is a hunk, there is no denying who the real star and better actor is: Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp is amazing as Captian Jack Sparrow. He was made for this role. He is funny and very convincing and he and Blume do very well together. He is simply in all ways perfect for that role. I can think of nothing that I can bash about his portrayl of Jack. If you were to force me to say something bad about this movie, I would only say that the beginning is rather slow, but once this movie gets going, it gets going. All in all, this is simply a must-see movie. It is one of the best productions Disney has put out in a LONG while. Many movies are fairly entertaining, but few ever reach the point to where they are this fun to watch. Pirates of the Caribean is the perfect combination of adventure, comedy, and just plain fun.

Review: Johnny Depp made this movie. Period. He was absoultly amazing, his wit and humor and his portrayal of Jack Sparrow, excuse me CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow was brilliant. The movie as a whole was wonderful it will defintely be worth purchasing

Review: Ok im going to tell you all the truth i went to see this movie becouse of Orlando Bloom even though i thought i was going to be bored as hell... Boy was i wrong this movie is amazing. Johnny Depp is funny to the max and Orlando Bloom is the perfect eye candy. I lauughed, I cried (mostly when Orlando kissed the girl but its ok i forgive him!), I was glued to the screen. This is the perfect movie for the whole family and i cant wait till it comes out so i can see the deleted parts and the bloopers. People buy this movie or you'll be kicking urselfs later on when you do see it and notice all you've bin missing!

Review: johnny depp gives one of the most convincing performances i have ever seen from any actor. don't even try to understand him; his charm lies in the fact that no one can. i can promise you his roguishness and style entertains endlessly. but credit also goes to the scriptwriters for maintaining the authenticity of the 18th century Caribbean. The dialogue is witty and the action sequences well thought out for the best dramatic effect to get your pulse racing i went into the cinema anticipating a repeat of Orlando Bloom's fantastic work in Lord of the Rings but came out amazed at how swaggering Depp outdoes everyone in this highly enjoyable flick
