Review: Not only is the ride a Disney classic, but this movie is bound to be a classic too! An outstanding cast, witty & charming script, and a plot that actually MAKES SENSE! Nowadays, that's almost nonexistent. Pirates is my favorite movie ever...no matter how many times you watch it, it doesn't get old...and neither does watching Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp sword fight! *Swoon!*

Review: This is one of my favorite movies! Great story line, that includes action, love, and best of all, humor! Johnny Depp as the very unique Captain Jack Sparrow is absolutely superb! He fits the part to a T. Also, don't let the Disney label of this movie fool you, it is no boring children's movie! This movie is a must for any movie buff and especially a Johnny Depp fan. I know I am! I'll be the first in line on December 2nd to get the DVD.

Summary: This Is My Favorite Movie
Review: I've seen this movie 7 times. I can't get enough of Johnny Depp. I never thought he was that good looking before, but eye liner and mascara on the man, he's drop dead gorgeous. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. The film would have been really dull without his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow. This role fit him like a glove. I can't see anybody else in this role.

Review: Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow commands attention and carries this entire movie through a hilarious adventure. Depp's portrayal of a loopy pirate commandeered to find the Black Pearl seems like a Indiana Jones adventure at sea. The maverick, confident, navigator this time has to find a pirate ship full of cursed and hideously ghostly pirates. There is some sarcasm and there are predictable moments but it's such a great film. I almost forgot - Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley play the star struck, beautiful (yawn) young couple. BUT without Depp's fanciful performance those two would have brought this movie to a screaching box office blunder.

Review: You'll love the movie, you'll love the actors, you'll love the costumes and the action -- and you'll be out of your seat listening to the awesome score by Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt (also scored Gladiator, The Rock, Crimson Tide, among others). By all means buy the movie, but go get the soundtrack too.

Summary: Wow was it fun
Review: My husband and I went and saw this movie on a date and we regretted not taking the kids. We were fresh off our trip to Disneyland and had been bombarded with advertisements for its release and were eagerly waiting. We were not disappointed in the least. I came out of the movie and was ready to go see it again. We laughed a lot at Johnny Depp's character and it made us go back and watch a few of his other movies that we own. Since we enjoyed this movies so much and it was inspired by the ride at Disneylad, we are eager to see Haunted Mansion. We only hope that it will be as good.

Review: Johnny Depp as the amazing Captain Jack Sparrow provides the laughs and the awws with Orlando Bloom. Bloom plays Will Turner, an apprentice blacksmith who works very hard but his master gets all of the credit. Together he and Sparrow must rescue the governer's daughter, Elizabeth Swann, who is played by Kiere Knightanly, from the evil pirate, Captain Barbosa, played by Geoffry Rush. If you want action, comedy, and romance, Pirates of the Carribean is the movie you have been looking for. In my opinion, I rate it 5 stars.

Review: I had heard of Johnny Depp many times but only in the gloomy stories he did. The main reason I went to see the movie was because of the action. The whole "Aztec Gold" thing was right up my ally. It was mysterious and interesting. The fighting scene was cool and the ups and downs and I-dont-knows of the movie kept you on the end of your seat. But what really made me love the movie was Johnny and Orlando. Johnny blew me away as soon as he came on the screen!!!!!!! He made me laugh at every thing that was going on, even if it was pointed in a "depressed" direction. The other charactors were cool, but the only character that stood out in my mind was Johnny. If you haven't seen this dvd, or dont want to but it, GET IT NOW!!!! I'm ordering it as soon as it comes out. This is a 10 star rating and by far the best movie I've seen yet. Johnny, you have a new Lover!!!!
