Summary: All Last Unicorn Fans!!
Review: I absolutely love this movie, and my older sister and I watched it religously when we were little. I was extremely upset when we wore out the tape that it was on. However, she recently sent me an e-mail, and to my delight, they are making a live-action Last Unicorn movie due out near the end of 2004, including stars such as Christopher Lee and Angela Lansbury! Mia Farrow will play Molly, and not the unicorn, but she's at least coming back!! ...I hope everyone is as excited as I am!

Summary: A True Classic
Review: This is by far one of the best animated films, not cartoons, i say films, i have ever seen. I have watched this movie since i was a child and i love it. The songs are memorable (courtesy of America) the animation is spectacular, and the story is rich and poignant. I recommend this to anyone who has a heart.

Review: I have enjoyed this work of art since the first time I saw it in the theatres as a teen. The story line is unique. The music, classic. The characters, memorable. A must see. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

Summary: Amazing (But Needs Something Extra)
Review: The Last Unicorn is one of four astounding works done by design artist Wayne Anderson. Each of his movies is a perfect representation of the pre-anime era of experimental animation. Using a style unlike any other design artist, Anderson vividly captures the novel "The Last Unicorn" into a just as (if not better) film. The only frustration I have is that Anderson's works are not being sold together in some special edition package. His works, which include the films The Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings, The Last Unicorn, and The Flight of Dragons, should all be easily accesible on DVD. Anderson's best film, The Flight of Dragons, is not on DVD and most definitly should be. Other than my pain towards finding all four of Anderson's movies on DVD, you should definitely purchase The Last Unicorn for its antiquity as being one of the first animations that has changed the world of animation today.

Review: Peter S. Beagles 'The Last Unicorn' is the best animated film i have ever seen in my life. I saw it for the first time when i was 2 (in 84) and i have loved it ever since. It was because of this film that i wanted to branch into a singing career at such a young age. I was thrilled to hear that they are working on creating a 'real' verison of the film with some of the orginal 'actors' to play the characters in the film. It's very exciting. I hope that this new film will encourage them to rerelease the animated 'the last unicorn' onto dvd so that thoes us of who cherish the film can have it for years to come.

Summary: I will treasure this film forever...
Review: My favorite film since I was a little kid, though when I was that young I didn't quite understand the story yet, there was Unicorns in it and that's all that mattered to me back then!
Now that I am an adult, I love this movie even more! An incredible, unique story that I will treasure forever. This is my favorite movie of all time. The only film that, no matter how many times I watch it, still sends shivers through my body and brings tears to my eyes! Very beautifully done animation especially for it's time, and still superior to much of today's animation. And the unicorn herself is drawn so beautifully, keeping away from the "just a horse with a horn" style and showing that unicorns are wild creatures that are a species all their own. I highly reccomend this film to everyone of all ages- children will love it for the pretty animation, and adults will love it for both the animation and the story!

Summary: Synopsis
Review: The basic plot is that a unicorn, believing she is the last of her kind, leaves her forest in search of the other unicorns. Along the way she meets Shmendrick the Magician and a host of other characters. The journey teaches her and her companion(s) about humanity and mortality. It is a very good movie suitable for children and adults. The book "The Last Unicorn" by Peter S. Beagle is better (as is found with most books made movies), but the movie remains very true to the original text. I highly recommend this title. It was my favorite movie as a child.
