Summary: Oscars Shmoscars!
Review: Do you know how many times the Academy Awards put down great fantasy movies? I don't know the number but there must have been hundreds of fantasy movies that were put down. Who cares if this movie doesn't win for best picture at the Oscars (which it deserves); LOTR: ROTK will be the best picture of 2003 to many, including me, even if it doesn't win any useless Oscars. I know in my heart that ROTK will be a fantasy-movie-phenomenon! FOTR and TTT were two breath-taking excellent movies which inspired me to read author J.R.R. Tolkien's LOTR book trilogy, which is fascinating! I am waiting, with great anticipation, to see how much better, than its two excellent prequels, ROTK will be. I am not concerned about this movie winning any clunky Oscars. In fact, I don't even like to watch Academy Awards ceremonies on TV because they are just plain boring! I only hope that ROTK will be a phenomenal movie to end the breath-taking LOTR movie trilogy. I am sure that this movie will be the best movie in 2003 and, once again, a phenomenal movie at that.

Summary: If it's anything like Two Towers...
Review: Now, I have to say that I'm a MAJOR book fan and I was disgusted with jackson's treatment of Faramir's character :P Utter filth. I'm giving RoTK 3 stars because I'm afraid Jackson is setting it up to have Frodo die while destroying the ring. Galadrial hints at in the TTT and I heard an ominous statement by one of the cast (Pippin's actor?) that an important person dies. Though this could be Saruman, though combined with the trailer image of Sam looking in horror down Mt. Doom, I'm led to horrifying conclusion that Jackson offs Frodo. I hope I'm 100% wrong, but Jackson's blatant disregard for Faramir (though it was a touch better in the Extended Edition) makes me fear he will destroy Tolkein's vision in Frodo... *fingers crossed that it ain't so*

Summary: To good to be imagined
Review: OMG, First of all this review is coming from someone who has not read the books.
My first reaction was that there was no way that I would be able to get into a movie that I didn't know anything about. Then I finally sat down one night and watched it. I WAS HOOKED IMMEDIATELY.

I have watched the second one many a times and I am absolutely transfixed with it. In fact my family has recently purchased the extended version of it...with all the deleted scenes. AWESOME!

Can't wait till' the third installment comes out! WOO-HOO

Summary: Sheerly Tops the Hype
Review: This movie exceeds above all others in the ways the first one did. The explosive fight scenes add more than the frist and second do combined but stays true to the Tolkien fans (as I am). The oscars are eminent for this dominent movie in at least 4 categories (including best picture, and best directer)

Summary: 27 DAYS!!!!!!!
Review: Only 27 days untill the movie destined for best movie of the year award! I just listened to the LOTR:ROTK soundtrack clips at soundtrack.net, and I swear, you can see the movie come to life! So that proves that the music is sweet. As like pretty much everyone, I have seen the trailer, & that showed 2 things. 1 the movie is going to be sweet. 2 the graphics are going to be very sweet.And plus, I've read the books, & they were very sweet my friend. Very sweet. Even though I am dissapointed about PJ cutting out Sam saving Frodo from the orcs, I still am dying for the movie to come out.
So all I have to say is, the trailer is sweet, the graphics are sweet, & the music is sweet. ( This review was written on 11/20, so no mis-calculations.)

Summary: How can I express my anticipation?
Review: Like other reviewers, this movie isn't even out yet, but we're still giving reviews for it! But I've read the books, and it was sweeeet!!!!! They might change it, but who cares?!? It still is about Frodo going to Mt. Doom. And By the looks of the trailer, the graphics are good, and, well, there is no way to express that movie. I wish I could give this movie more than 5 stars, but
I can't. You'll be seeing my full review in 32 days! (1 day after Rotk!)

Summary: Anticipation for the Release
Review: I give ROTK 5 stars just for the anticipation of the last of a great trilogy. I think all of us will be excited when this movie comes to theatre's on December 17th, 2003.I know that I will be there the first week it is out. There are a lot of scenes that I look forward to. Especially seeing Shelob for the first time on screen. I would give it more than 5 stars, but as I can't, I will have to make do with the 5!

Summary: "ROTK" Will Be The Best Movie In The Trilogy
Review: "FOTR": Wonderful!
"TTT" : Spectacular!
"ROTK": Will Be Phenomenal!

So far "The Lord of the Rings" movie trilogy has been stunning and yet breath-taking! And so far the trilogy has been a great adaptation of author J.R.R. Tolkien's three excellent books. One can only know that "The Return of the King" will be the best movie in director Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" movie trilogy and indeed the best movie of 2003. I await December 17nth with great anticipation!

Summary: How could I possibly know it's this good?
Review: Let me begin by stating I have never read the books. I intend to do so after watching the final installment in the series, but I haven't read them yet. So, as such, I wasn't as susceptible to disappointment by the first two movies as many LOTR purists may have been (though I think it was a very slim few who were actually disappointed). I simply went to these movies hoping they might be better than the last 20 years of fantasy films... i.e. Dungeons & Dragons, Legend, etc. I've always loved the genre, but very few movies have ever been any good in it.

As with most of you, FOTR blew my socks off. So much depth, so much subtlety, so much entertainment. I couldn't have asked for a better fantasy film. Utterly perfect. So when TTT was due in theaters - I was the first in line... well pretty close to first. And, again, I thought it was perfect. In my eyes, it was a seamless continuation of the story and I was more than satisfied by it. The extended edition of the FOTR was an absolute triumph. How could anyone make that movie better than it already was... add another thirty minutes. And, although I haven't yet seen TTT extended edition, I'm sure it will do the same... maybe even more so as there is a bit more footage being added :)

So, to answer my question in the heading, "How could I possibly know it's this good?", I don't truly know. But given Peter's history with the last two movies, I think it's probably a safe bet ROTK is going to be great. Maybe even better than great... maybe perfect? Man, I'm one excited individual. I cannot wait to see this film.
