Rating: Summary: Only one thing to say about this movie: It's nothing but fun Review: I saw this movie in the theater way back in 1995, and it kept me on the edge of my seat. The effects were a HUMUNGOUS imrprovement and helps the story along nicely. It had good writing, especially for the deliciously over the top Freeman. I must admit though, that some of the jokes were kinda corny, and that the movie itself was more dramatic than the show. Me being 15, I still watch this movie from time to time, because It's just a plain fun, feel-good action/fantasy flick. I think that the next movie should go back to the original rangers instead of these new wanna-bes. I still love this movie!!!
Rating: Summary: ranger review Review: I started watching power rangers when it premiered in 1992 or 1993(i forget). I absolutely loved the show and never missed an episode until the turbo series, which,in my opinion,is when most of the original fans lost interest. However, I recently got interested in it again when I saw the new series wild force. It's a lot better than some of the other series that began since zeo, such as lost galaxy or lightspeed rescue. I recently saw the movie again and remembered why i used to enjoy the show so much. The special effects are MUCH better than the show, and they don't use the same action footage over and over again like the show did. If you're a power rangers fan, i highly recommend this!
Rating: Summary: Good Movie Review: I think it is a good movie because it has the ninga rangers in it. The Red Ape and the White Falcon ninga zord are really cool. I really like this movie!
Rating: Summary: I loved it! Review: I think that Adam was so funny in this movie. I think the best scene was where they were at the temple and they had to fight these stone cretures. The Rangers had destoryed 2 and had 2 more to deal with. The 2 stone creatures were picking on Adam. He said " What is this? Pick on the frog day?" Billy, from high above in a tree asked Adam if he needed a hand. As one stone creatrue swung his axe above Adam's head, he said "The though crossed my mind". Kids will love it.
Rating: Summary: Cool Movie! Review: I thought that this movie was really great. I have been watching power rangers since they came out. I really liked the part when the power rangers get their powers and Adam is complaining because he doesn't want to be the frog.
Rating: Summary: This movie was suprisingly hype Review: I used to watch the Power Rangers T.V show. Everybody that saw the show knows that it was really cheesy. But when I saw the movie at the theatre I was shocked. It didn't look that cheesy. It was like they were saving all of the money for when the movie came out. This movie was very entertaining. and it's funny too, if you really sit back and look at it. The way kimberly and Tommy kept calling eacch other's names. I was like, can you get off each other's jocks. Anyway this movie was suprisingly hype!
Rating: Summary: Power Rangers Rocks. Review: I'm 15 years old. I love Power Rangers. I've been watching it from the day it premeired. This movie, like all the movies, rules. It rocks!
Rating: Summary: Not the same without Trini, Jason, and Zack Review: I'm afraid I must give this movie 3 stars only because the original black, yellow, and red rangers are not in this movie. But away from the casting faults, and on to the movie itself. Overall, I thought the plot was great, the special effects were state-of-the-art, and the charcters did a good job of keeping this film alive. I might have even given this movie 5 stars if, as I had mentioned before, the original Red Ranger (Jason), Yellow Ranger (Trini), and Black Ranger (Zack) were part of the team! If you are a Power Rangers fan and have not seen this movie (Heaven forbid! ), find a copy and prepare to have your power coins fall out of your morphers! (Fans will know what I'm talking about.)
Rating: Summary: Cool movie for a cool series Review: INTRODUCTION: The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers was a classic sci-fi action series that debuted on FOX in 1993. This series tells the story of five teenagers who are given superhuman abilities to battle an evil empress who has her sights set on destroying the world. The series lasted for a number of seasons, and has spawned at least half a dozen spin-offs (all of which are inferior to this, the original series.) The series became wildly popular almost immeadiately, so just about two years after it debuted, a feature film was released! Read on for my review of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - The Movie.BASIC PLOT: This episode takes place between seasons two and three of the classic series. Lord Zedd has set out to resurrect an evil entity from hundreds of years ago called Ivan Ooze. He succeeds in this, but discovers that Ivan has a mind of his own. He imprisons Lord Zedd and Rita in a glass jar, and sets his sights on destroying the earth. He destroys the command center, which causes the Rangers to lose their power. Also, Zordon's glass jar was broken in the process, meaning he will die soon. Alpha says that there is enough power left to teleport them to a distant world where they can get a new source of power, and maybe save Zordon's life, but there's a problem. There isn't enough power to bring them back. If they fail to get the new power source, they'll be stranded on a distant world. They accept the task, and Ivan sets his sights on causing universal destruction. FILM OPINIONS: This is a pretty cool movie. Sure, it's very cheesy by modern standards, but back when I was a kid this stuff was state of the art. For the film, the Rangers outfits, the Command Center, and the city of Angel Grove, and the Rangers weapons got huge makeovers - and all for the better too. Only problem is these things only took on their new appearances for the movie - they didn't stay that way for the new season of the series. I bet that confused a lot of people! Although the plot has been done to death in the movie industry (there are enough "I want to destroy the world" movies out there), it's still a cool film. OVERALL: If you can find this movie for a good price, it's a worthwhile diversion from all of the junk that has been flooding the motion picture industry recently. If you're going to watch the Power Rangers, make sure it's the classic series - and not those lame spin-offs FOX has been showing in recent years. SIDE NOTE: The movie has recently been released on DVD, as a double feature with one of the movies for a later Power Rangers series.
Rating: Summary: Gotta see this one... Review: It didn't do well in the box office simply because it had the words "Power Rangers" in it. The show is better than what people like to think, IMHO. Despite the splicing mistakes, the effects, look, acting, and script were great. It DID look like a movie and not a TV show. Whether you're a kid, an adult, or in high school, I reccomend this movie.
