Summary: Really, really great!
Review: The first time I saw this movie, I fell completely in love with those funny little people. Although I found it most fun when the leprechauns were on the screen, I liked the story of the humans, were Randy Quaid played the main male character, very much.

The story is about the battle between the fairies and the leprechauns and the love between the leprechaun Micky and the fairyprincess Jessica.

It is a movie for those who like the irish culture, the music, riverdance and for those who belive that love concures all.

Summary: NOOOOO !!!!!!
Review: This has been a complete waste of my time and money. I love miniseries and I love Fantasy, but this is too awful to look at. I wish I wasn't so greedy and that I had kept my money in my pocket. This can only be fun for little children, but not for adults !!!

Don't buy it !!!!

Summary: Great Idea, Terrible Delivery
Review: A Leprechaun Romeo and Fairie Juliet, a nice idea if the writing, editing, and special effects were any good. If you're looking for a good fantasy of this sort, rent Darby O'Gill and the Little People or Willow. The 10th Kingdom, Legend, and The Princess Bride will also quench a desire for excellent fantasy, but don't waste your time on this over-long, cheesy movie. I will give it a thumbs up for great costuming, make-up and some highly enjoyable characters, but it still probably isn't worth your time, though your children will probably like it.

Summary: An enjoyable fairytale
Review: Despite the misplaced legends or folklores during some of this movie's storyline I thought this film to be enjoyable enough to own.
Overall it was an enchanting tale the kids adore. The romantic remake of romeo & juliet with fairies and leprechauns was done very well in my opinion. The only out of place character however would be the banshie ,who should have been called something different since her role doesn't at all fit the description. Since a Banshie is normally a tormented soul with a wailing cry i'd say woopie goldberg's character was far too easy going. There were a few other plotlines that were a bit mismatched with old folklores, other than that the movie is worth a try for any fairy tale lover or romantic.

Summary: One of the Greatest Leprechaun/Faery Movies
Review: I loved this movie. I watched it 2 times in 2 days. One of my friends rents it so often I think she should just buy it. It's a lovely movie that I could watch a hundred times and never get tired of it. Mickey (Daniel Betts) and Shawn are my favourite characters. Daniel Betts is not only cute, but a very good actor as well. I HIGHLY recommend this movie. Darby O'Gill and the Little People and 10th Kingdom are also very good.

Summary: Irish Lore
Review: Think Romeo and Juliet...Irish Leprechaun style. If you like love stories, fantasy, and a little bit of blarney, then this miniseries is for you. It touches on the ever popular scenario of boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, boy and girl are separated by conflict, and boy and girl find a way to be together. And how do they make it different? Make them an Irish leprechaun and an Irish fairy and bam...the story gets a facelift. But all aside, it was an extremely cute film and if you are interested in Irish culture than this film can entertain you with little facts here and there.

Summary: Enchanting
Review: We've had this movie in our collection for a couple of years and have watched it several times each year. It's that good! but then all of Hallmark's movies are that good. We also highly recommend 'The Tenth Kingdom'.

Summary: An Irish review
Review: This is an amazingly great movie, even from here in Ireland, where we're critical of such movies. Randy Quaid does his best work. A delightful movie.

Summary: Wonderful Fantasy Love Film!
Review: This film is one of the most original portrayals of Romeo and Juliet I have ever seen. It is not boring if you like leprachauns and fairies especially because them come together and unite in this great movie! I love all the scenery it provides of Ireland. Though the story could've been better with a better story with the humans, It still played an interesting twist in the story. Watch it with your sweetheart! *****/Definite Five Stars!
