Review: The movie Somewhere in Time is my all time favorite movie. I have owned it for years and watch at any time that I need to remind myself of the importance of true love. Although the time travel element is unrealistic-the movie is pure magic. It should be that true love transends time and space. When you find that special person, you should never have to be denied them. Elise and Richard are in the end eternally together. Isn't that what we all want, when we find that person that is our soulmate?

Review: This enthralling film is adapted from a book that is even more soul gripping. It is purported to be a fictional account of a young playwright who finds that he has a universal link to a famous actress from another century. A wonderful account that leaves one questioning the nature of time and reality and the power of love.

Summary: The most beautiful movie I have ever seen!
Review: I have seen this movie over 100 times and each time I watch it I am still moved by the scenery, costumes and beautiful hotel. My husband and I will be going to Michigan this October for the "Somewhere in Time" weekend hosted by the Grand Hotel. Our youngest daughter is named Elise and a bit of information that you might not know is that Elise McKenna was a real actress at the turn of the century, however the situations in the movie are fictional.

Review: For all those true romantics out there, this is one of the best. Unfortunately, the video transfer is one of the worst I've seen so far. There was terrible pixelation throughout the film, and in several instances the picture actually froze. The sound was poor also. I'm going to exchange for a VHS copy!

Review: This movie has a good story if you like slow moving no action hard to follow movies. But for the rest of us I have seen better, much better. Also, for all of you who want to go to Mackinaw Island, there are NO CARS on the island, I realise that they brought cars on the island just for this movie but it totally ruins the historicalness and majesty of the island. I would recomend seeing another movie, not this.

Review: There are no words to describe how this movie entraps you from the first few minutes. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for more. I was sad when it ended and only hoped for a sequel that was to never be. And now shall never come, with the fate of Christopher Reeves. Wonderful movie! Art Bell lovers will find it truely entertaining.
