Summary: Simply Beautiful In Every Aspect!
Review: I saw this movie on the big screen when it first came out with a friend. That was when you could sit and watch the movie over and over again. We saw it three times that day alone! Since then, I've seen the movie on video, cable, etc. I even bought the sound track...which is spellbinding! The music is hauntingly beautiful. What can I say, I love this movie...and I'm sure you will to. It opens your heart to possibilities...love will prevail and survive always. Share this movie with someone you love. Seymour and Reeves made a classic! See it for yourself soon...then you'll know why everyone who experiences it, will do it again and again!

Summary: An Artful Masterpiece
Review: Reeve and Seymour are a touching combination of perfection for this romance/time travel combo. It grabs fantasy as well as romance viewers in a classical combination. Certainly one of the best.

Summary: I first saw this when I was but a teen...
Review: I remember seeing this film shortly after my family got cable..(I'm a child of the 80's) The lasting impressions it left on me, I can only wish to describe. I grant it now the reputation it receives as a bit cheesy...but it has always haunted me. I remember it as always being one of my favorite movies, and thought it must have been only myself that thought that. Thinking it was something lost to an obilvian, I was so suprised to find it has such a following. I love it. And that's all I got to say about that!

Summary: This movie should have gotten the academy award!!!!!.
Review: We saw this movie when it first came out and have never forgotten it. The acting was marvelous and of course Chris Reeves has never been better. A love story that will live forever, and should have gotten more publicity. Jane was at her very best and her beauty in this film well, you can never find a more gorgeous lady., and a really wonderful actress. The movie was one in a million. A

Summary: A MASTERPIECE OF VISUAL AND AUDIO EFFECTS
Review: This movie has become one of my favorites of all time. It was one of the first movies I ever purchased for my personal collection. Christopher Reeve is perfect and Jane Seymour is at her most beautiful. Christopher Plummer, as Robinson, is awesome, too. The photograph of Elise depicted in the movie hangs in the Grand Hotel, on Mackinac Island, and the music box Elise had made is displayed in a place of honor there as well. As I stood on the porch of the Grand Hotel just last summer, and the strains of Rachmaninov played in my head, I could picture Elise running up the stairs to meet Richard. I also stood by the tree where they first met, Richard doffing his hat, as Elise asked "Is it you?" There is a plaque affixed to the tree on Mackinac Island, celebrating the movie and the scene filmed there. The final scenes of Richard sitting at the picnic table, with garbage strewn about, in contrast to the pristine beauty of 1910, always breaks my heart. The soundtrack is a classic including some of the most romantic music I've ever heard. After visiting the magical island of Mackinac, it's hard to believe the story of Richard and Elise is fiction and not, by some miracle, a true story.

Summary: THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE
Review: This is my all time favourite movie. I usually watch it a couple of times a month. It is very well done and very realistic. Its approach to time travel is one that will make you stop and think about if it is possible. The way they tie the past, present, and future together, with the main character going back in time is fantastic. It also makes you realize that history is harder to change than you think. I would highly recommend this movie to everyone who loves romance, time travel, fantasy, or science fiction movies.

Summary: Fabulous. Reeve and Seymour are magical. A must-see.
Review: This is a film I saw on the big screen first, and have seen it over and over on video. If you like to look back at the way things were, and have a magical experience, see Somewhere in Time. It is celebrating I believe it's 20th year anniversary this October. This movie is timeless with a wonderful musical score.

Summary: Not just a movie; OVERWHELMING in its' lifting of your soul!
Review: Since the day I first saw this movie in a theater, I have been in love with it's magic. It is simply, and unabashedly, the most whimsical yet soul stirring experience I've ever had. 'Tis true, I am an incurable 'romantic'. However, I can't see how anyone could watch the utopian FANTASY of this movie unfold, and not see the true REALITY of love as genuinely mystical. Even though I am a 51 year old male, this film never fails to open my heart and allow floods of emotion to pour out; and as the story, the music and the performances prove - love cannot be contained by the simple rules of time. For - somewhere in time - love IS truly eternal..
