Summary: KATE & LEOPOLD
Review: THE BEST FANTASTICAL ROMANTIC COMEDY THAT I HAVE SEEN IN MY 60 YEARS OF MOVIE WATCHING. THAT'S ALL.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Hugh Jackman Totally Stole the Show!!!!
Review: The movie in itself was entertaining and well-paced, but kudos especially to Hugh Jackman who was extremely well casted as Leopold, the Brit (great accent plus acting) who stole Kate/Meg Ryan's heart, not to mention being the knight-in-renaissance-costume who stole the limelight of the show, perhaps much to the chagrin of Ryan.

It is only natural that one should expect to hear great things from this Aussie actor in the future, who was outstanding in all his meatier American film roles, from "X-men" to "Swordfish" to "Someone Like You". In fact, Hugh Jackman is probably slated to become the next major darling heartthrob of Hollywood, the new George Clooney, or Brad Pitt, or their equivalent.

Summary: Just like a romance novel.
Review: It was just like reading a romance novel. So don't expect anything more and you won't be disappointed. Hugh Jackman was terrific as the hero. I think some other actress could have done a better job than Meg Ryan, though. She didn't seem to do justice to the part, and it was left to Hugh Jackman to carry the load (which he did). This is a light, feel-good movie. Enjoy it! I did.

Summary: Love over the centuries!!
Review: Kate & Leopold is a wonderful romantic-comedy movie. When Kate's ex-boyfriend, Stuart, who is living upstairs of her flat found a crack in time and travel to 1876. There he followed the peniless Duke of Albany called Leopold who is being pushed by his uncle to marry a rich woman. But things goes wrong and Leopold found himself in 21th century! There he mets Kate and fall in love with her at first sight. Kate don't belive Stuart when he says Leopold is coming from past but she got effected by the charm, intelligence and kidness of this misterious guy called Leopold. Well you have to watch the movie if 2 centuries difference can hinder Kate and Leopold's love!

Summary: a great movie
Review: I was a bit hesitant to watch 'Kate and Leopold' but once I started it was really enjoyable and I couldn't stop! My reluctance stemmed of course, from the plot ie time travel, which is certainly not new to movies.

The movie is extremely refeshing (no bad language, nudity, sex) and Hugh Jackman is a very talented actor. It was clever of Mangold not to focus on the time travel aspect but on Kate's developing relationship with Leopold. My favourite part is definately when Leopold stands up as Kate is leaving the table, and she says almost angrily, 'what's with the standing??"

This really shows us how much things have changed!!

Summary: Hugh Jackman Steals This Movie.
Review: This movie, is one of the most refreshing films I have seen in years. Hugh Jackman, steals every scene he is in. Meg Ryan is adorable. If you love the old fashioned, romantic comedies of yesterday, I highly recommend this film to you. A+++

Summary: Kate & Leopold
Review: This is the kind of movie most of us have been waiting for. Hugh Jackman is the quintessial nobleman and proves that being a gentleman is not obsolete in the 21st century. He brings the looks and talent for which women would give up the vote. Meg Ryan would have made the role better if she had a decent haircut. I found her "unmade bed" look distracting. But with Mr. Jackman as the Duke, he more than made up the difference. The supporting cast was outstanding and for pure enjoyment, I give it a 10.
