Summary: IT ROCKS!
Review: A cornucopia of animated carnal pleasure! Simply one of the most touching tales I have ever had the pleasure of fast-forwarding. Seeing a genetically modified Rat with almost human intelligence discover the meaning, the TRUE meaning of Christmas was one of the most twisted diabolical pieces of storytelling I have ever witnessed. BRAVO to those, dare I say it, yes I shall...those GENIUSES and their magical computer contraptions. If this is the future of computer animation, well let me the first to stand up on my desk, drop my pants and salute these brave computer animators and their daring vision of the future! Three Cheers!

Summary: I LAUGHED UNTIL I CRIED!
Review: A rollercoaster ride of emotions. It brought back all those pent-up feelings I've kept buried since my parents divorced 5 Christmas's ago. Like a damn bursting, this "Nutty" Christmas special left me curled up in a fetal position sobbing like a baby. Step aside Mr Grinch, there's a new Christmas classic in the Hunt house, and its the Nuttiest!

Summary: what are you kidding me?
Review: am i to believe that ALL these little critters were done on a computer system. ONE solitary system? what about the little rat? Him too? And all that fruit on the front cover... are they actually in the movie too? and was THAT done on a little computer system like the one i got at home? and i'm not talking 'atari' here my friends. About how many dancing fruit would you say is in this movie? 7? 8? I think sometimes that it would be easier to eat the fruit rather then have to try and animate with strings and wires, and maybe even a little of 'stopped motion' that's the animator's terminology. It basically means when animating on the computer, the motion gets slowed down or 'stopped' from showing all the wires and string. so what do you think? you think just becaus eyou stick a dancing rat in a bowl of smiley fruit and wires you instantly got a hit on your hands. I DON'T THINK SO! but about how many dance'n fruit WAS in that thing? seriously, 9? 10?

i give it 1 star.

Summary: I bought it by mistake.
Review: First, let me say that I ordered this movie by mistake.
I wanted to order more movies but I got this instead.
How are you supposed to get the movies you want?
Now I have the movie I want so I watch it. It is called the
World's nuttiest nutcracker. Which is why I bought this movie
because it's about world records for who is the nuttiest of all.
Let me repeat that I hate cchristmass. But I love movies about christmass. I dont have to deal with my own family because I hate them. So now I watch this movie and I like it like 4 stars out of 5, it is insane. There are all these people in the movie
that look like cheap plastic, but wait they are not real, they are realtime 3d people/fruit. So that caught my Eye and I loved the fact that this was a good choice to buy and then watch this
awfull film

Summary: Ugh
Review: I can't understand how anyone can like this movie. I dunno, maybe I've been spoiled by Toy Story and the like, but this movie was simply not good. The musical numbers reeked and the characters were annoying, especially the whiney blonde chick who looked like she was half asleep most of the time and that bimbo of a nutcracker with that idiot grin of his. There's no way I'd pay $5 for this movie, let alone $14.

Summary: Amazing
Review: I have just had the pleasure of viewing The Nuttiest Nutcracker. I was astonished at the depth, subtlety and charisma, this exciting interpretation of a Xmas classic, could engender in persons of senior years. But when I played this delightful tale for the residents, they were united in one voice of praise. We are all big Peebo Bryceson fans and have included several of the numbers in our Wednesday evening fireside sing-a-longs. Everyone involved should give themselves a hearty pat on the back, for their participation in such a morally fibrous, upstanding, aspirational and patriotic story. Makes one proud to be American! Thank you, thank you all.

Summary: Why the religious references, this isn't Veggie Tales
Review: I loved the humor, and the Rat, err, Mouse King's antics, but what I couldn't stand was the religous stuff. It's not advertised on the front, and it's not mentioned in any of the reviews i read on this, or even in the preview trailer. It kind of bugs me to have this great christmas classic tarnished everytime Peabo Bryson decides to sing us a song. In every scene that accompanied his songs, it seemed like Marie and the gang were in church. I actually had to watch it again to make sure i wasn't imaging them. Now if I wanted VeggieTales, I'd buy it. Other than that, it's a goofy movie that keeps my kids plenty entertained.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: I ordered this videobased upon the trailer on the Muppets From Space video. What a disappointment! The animation is mediocre and the plot doesn't make any sense. I do not recommend this video; there are many children's videos which are far more interesting, creative and funny. Spend your money on them.
