Summary: Can't go to sleep. The Klown will eat me!!!
Review: Wow!! After reading the exhaustive reviews, I feel inadeqaute. The reviews are much better than the movie.
The movie itself is awful, filled with has-beens and never-weres to act in a terrible script and plot. An alien species, who just happen to resemble clowns, descend to earth to go grocery shopping. Invading a small town (why always a small town? why not New York?)they wrap their food (read humans) into tidy cotton candy cocoons to enjoy later. The heroes, including a rookie cop and a high-school? nerd battle the klowns to save the town.
I guess modern circuses ae a racial memory of previous visits by these aliens which means that we must be tasty.

Review: Wow, when i heard this movie was playing, i thought i would check it out, and i was like so blown away. It was so amazing, not to mention inspiring. The work that went into those costumes and special effects( i mean that purple lightning and the cacooning, wow, such greatness)And i mean i do have to say i shed a tear for that poor hick and his doggie, pooh bear. And when i saw this movie, not only did i run out to buy my own pink clown shoes, i also invetsed in a circus tent to put in mah backyard. This movie was just great. it just was.The whole shadow puppets eating the ppl, such great work went into thinking that up. I spend all mah nights perfecting my balloon animals. i also took out a lone to go to clown college, one day, one glorious day, i will be a great clown too...........................

Summary: A review for the greatest horror filck ever CREATED!!!
Review: Well folks, let me start this off by saying I think this movie is probably the closest you can get to theeee perfect movie. I mean, hey, it's got the most in-depth plot I've ever seen! Heck, look at the cast, you've got errr, some hick, his dog pooh bear, and umm, some other people. I don't think I've ever been so afraid of a shadow puppet. Nowadays, whenever someone starts to do that, I just shout "AHHH STOP!" cuz it brings me back to that moment in the movie. I always knew clowns were suspicious characters, but this movie proves it, I'll never look at a red nose the same way again. Ok, people, trust me, if youve never seen this, buy it! Make shure you have someone along to make fun of it with though, cuz its not too hard to point out its, err, weak points. ;)

Review: After the first viewing you will say wow! that film was interesting but could have been so much more. This really doesn't matter. After the second viewing you will understand what the filmmakers were going for and how they succeded on every level. It could be remade, but it would probably lose much of its low budget charm and freshness. The cast is only marginally good but it's not a variable. The film plays like a nightmare and is a perfect addition to MGM's Midnite Movie collection because it is best viewed in the later kult hours. You might just walk away unsure about clowns and their motives. What a fresh concept. Thank you Chiodo Brothers!

Summary: Deadly Bozos from the Spacetop
Review: Killer Klowns is fun entertainment. The plot is simple, special effects are good. However the acting leaves much to be desired
(but who cares).
John Vernon (the mayor from Animal House) plays a hard bitten
cop who doesn't believe in the townsfolk that KK's from outer
space have invaded their nice little town of Crescent Cove.
Soon though he gets face to face with one of the nastier klowns
who he promptly puts in jail, the Klown then shoots out one of those party whistles thingies and grab's Mr.Mooney by the throat.

You'll see what happens to him later, some other cool scenes is
when a Klown in an invisible car runs this fool off the road.
I was rooting for the Klown, most of the people in that town were
dopes anyways.
I enjoyed the film it could have delivered more. but then again
I'm very demanding on the horror/science fiction scene
Thumbs up to the Chiodo Bros

Summary: Killer Klowns - a killer film
Review: I had to get the DVD of this film after watching only part of it on the SciFi Channel. It is a complete riot from the story to the design to the cast. Each element is just right.

There is one hilarious bit involving an animal made from balloons that had me laughing out loud and still makes me chuckle remembering it.

I can't decide if this is a real "B" film or a take off on all the others. It is too well produced to be a typical "B" film. The sets are great, the effects are good and the acting not bad at all, so it is almost too good.

There is one deleted scene in which the female lead tells why she is afraid of clowns that should be in the film. It really illustrates why children can be and are afraid of real life clowns. These Klowns are scary in a horror film way, but personally I find the little old ladies who pretend to be clowns for birthday parties and holidays functions are infitley more terrifying than anything in the film.

Is it a great film? In it's way it is, but not in the terms of the typical Hollywood epics. It is fun, silly and a truly enjoyable way to waste an hour and a half.

Summary: Woah! Total cheese fest!
Review: To properly review this movie, I'll look at three different aspects of the film, a formula needed for any Grade-B horror movie. First though, let's take a look at the not-so-necassary aspect: the plot. Large (for the most part) Killer Klowns have landed on earth, hungry for some human blood. They wrap some people up in cacoons, suck the life out of them, and it's up to the heroes to stop them.

HORROR FACTOR: Maybe creepy is a better word than scary. The movie's whole wild, colorful fun house atmosphere gives this film a real surreal quality that clutches onto your queesy bone. Kindof like a Marilyn Manson album before he went all "Antichrist with a Mission".

CHEESE FACTOR: The thing about KKFOS is that it makes fun of other Grade B movies, and it takes pride in it's own cheesiness. Not hilariously funny, but definitely entertaining from start to finish.

THE MONSTERS: Wow. This is the best part of the whole movie, and the main reason I liked it so much. The Klowns look absolutely terrific. These guys really went the whole hog in the makeup department. Also I love the enormous Klown-zilla that reared it's big grinning head at the end.

In conclusion, Killer Klowns From Outer Space is a true classic, campier than heck but very impressive in the special effects/creature department. If "It" scared the bejeebies out of you and "Mars Attacks" had you rolling on the ground, give this a try. If not, pick it up anyway!

Summary: Don't Fall Asleep. They're Watching.
Review: Browsing around the movie section, I ran across Killer Klowns From Outer Space. First rate as second rate movies go, it holds the fifties B-ness in the eighties hip-ness. Everybody loves clowns, so why worry about these guys except they are cocooning the townspeople in cotton candy to store in their spaceship and drinking their essence with large silly straws. Other than that, townspeople pausing to watch a shadow puppet show are being eaten by the cartoon caricatures transformed on the building wall. Was that godzilla making a cameo?
At the ship, the females of the species on the lower level don't mind galaxy-hopping and meeting aliens. They perk right up appreciating company and a smile different from their jagged-toothed boyfriends.

This movie isn't really scarey. Killer Klowns From Outer Space is just slapstick science fiction so there's nothing to worry about... unless you've got a clown on a rocking chair in your bedroom... and the smile is beginning to turn upside down...

Summary: Candy girl !
Review: Finally a movie where the popcorn sticks to your ribs, and what ever. The cotton candy has a 50's spin to it. And this movie will clown around with your mind. You won't be disappointed. See Suzanne Snyder (Debbie Stone) again in Weird Science (1985) ASIN: 6305077630

The DVD is loaded with the standard goodies. Thirteen year later the directors discus the original intent and some unique problems. There are out takes. And may other pieces of information to make viewing the movie fun.

Summary: Killer Klowns is Krazy!
Review: The movie is a must have if you are a fan of funny, poorly produced and poorly acted horror movies. The movie is great in its cornyness! Even though the budget of the movie shows greatly It still has wonderful Fx and makeup. Alien Klowns arrive in a town Via a flying crius tent. A rookie cop and some college kids are the only ones that can stop the blood sucking klown's evilness! A great movie to watch on a sleepy boring day. Pick it up! it rocks!
