Summary: You'll love it...or hate it...
Review: Yes, it's one of those. As far back as people can remember, there is always that film which you'll either rant on about for years or never speak of again. Welcome to the Horror Show. Richard O'Brien wrote this as a pastiche of all the science fiction and horror movies of the time. This shows through in the opening song through to the 'King Kong' esque ending - with Rocky climbing the RCA tower. The acting is never intended to be serious. Indeed, Tim Curry hams it up to such a degree that each gesture can be a joy to watch...or a pain to behold. I fall into the former. I love the entire feel of this movie, and the songs I still find myself singing along to in the shower. For those of you interested, we English still occasionally enjoy Richard O'Brien as the first presenter of the absolutely bizzare "Crystal Maze", and one of the dancers is a (once) beloved Christopher Biggins - famous for being weird. Even more strange, Richard O'Briens succesor in the "Crystal Maze", Ed Tudor-Pole, played Frankenfurter for many years in a succesful run of the show. I had to struggle to give this five stars. Not because I think it doesn't deserve it, but because many people won't enjoy this, and I seriously think that it should be watched before buying it. This film doesn't deserve to be taped over with the latest series of 'Friends'.

Summary: excelent acting and unforgetable songs
Review: I absolutly love this movie. The songs are so addictive, I can't get them out of my head. The transvestite is the coolest one of all.

Review: Although I am only 14 i have seen this movie at least 30 times. What got me so interested in it is my step-dad played Riff-Raff at one of the theatres in Missouri!!!!!!!1

Summary: The absolutely #1 movie of all time
Review: I have seen this movie at least 100 times and I can honestly say that I will see it at least 100 more times. I first saw it when I was only 13 years old in 1978 and I have been captivated ever since. If you are the uptight, nose in the air type, then this movie just might change your way of thinking. If you are kinda perverted like me, then you just might find out that there are others out there with us. Either way, no one can afford to miss this one...watch it and enjoy

Summary: LIPS! LIPS! LIPS! BIG RED LIPS!
Review: I saw Rocky Horror a few years ago, and have loved it ever since! Tim Curry has never performed like this, nor has he since. The movie envelopes the viewer in a "campish" fun in which Curry plays the lead and watching him has to be the most fun. The plot can be a little sketchy, however I think that this adds to the films wonderment. It will keep you coming back just to see something you missed the first 25 times you saw it! Truly a masterpiece of cult, and a obligatory addition to your horror movie library.

Summary: Most fun movie ever!
Review: If you don't like this movie, you don't know how to have fun. The only people that have an excuse to not like this movie are maybe the Pope and the late Mother Teresa 'cause they're not supposed to do anything fun. But hey, they may surprise you and like it, because my preacher likes this movie. This movie has an awesome soundtrack, a great cast, great dance numbers, and an funny, original plot. RENT THIS MOVIE TODAY!

Summary: It is a hillarious film with a very interesting plot.
Review: Rocky Horror Picture Show is a great film. However I would not recommend it for younger viewers. The movie is extremly funny and has great songs too. I hope you get the chance to see it.

Summary: Become It's slave...
Review: I have loved this movie ever since the first time I saw it some years ago. If you are a decent and mature adult, this brilliant film is NOT for you. Usually I do not give feedback on movies but I just feel so strongly about this one. I thank Richard O'brian soooo much for this highly entertaining and, well... spanky movie, even though "shock treatment" was a bit of a letdown. For those who have yet to see this movie, keep an open mind, be ready for some naughty fun and preferably see it with others who already know that they like it. It's very low budget, but is full of great actors whom look like they are having a lot of fun, and spend the whole movie giving eachother secret looks. The deliberately tacky and cheap special FX help create the mood and for the many of you that end up with unhealthy fixations on the various actors, here are some suggestions; if your fave was Tim Curry - The 3 Musketeers, Fern Gully, Home Alone 2 and McHales Navy; Richard O'brian - Dark City, Ever After and Shock Treatment; Susan Sarandon - Dead Man Walking, Thelma & Louise and Step Mom. Just as a small note of interest, did you know that one of the actors was in the Australian Olympic swim team (apparently Little Nell)?

Summary: Cult movies? Pah! This is IT!
Review: Hell - Rocky Horror! What the folks who have not seen this are missing? Shuck yer inhibitions and immerse yourself in an hour plus of outrageous entertainment (and YES I did take my mother to see this!).

Rock n Roll, sexual innuendo (and not the Italian Suppositary Either), Meat Loaf as a near teenager? What more could you want?

Whether you view this movie as a musical, comedy or a spoof - it has something for everyone. The lyrics are, perhaps, more meaningful that the script but, hey! - this is a musical! ( I think)

Summary: BORING AS HELL
Review: Right down there with EASY RIDER as one of the most vastly over-rated films of all time. Some older people I know say it's meant to be a "theater experience", but I've never seen it in a theater. First off, the sound is horrible. Second, the filming is blurry. Thirdly, it makes no sense at all. The music is so childish, ("DAMN IT JANET"), it makes you sick. Not a good watch. Pitiful.
