Summary: Pretty good.
Review: I bought this movie because I heard that it was a pretty good one. I watched it through for the first time... and it's OK but not as good as Scheider's other movie, Deuce Bigalow. There are a few good laughs as well as a hilarious cameo by Adam Sandler. The story was interesting. I would suggest picking up Scheider's other flick before this one, however.

Summary: IT BRINGS OUT THE ANIMAL IN ME
Review: What's the go guys?I cant see why everyone is giving this movie like 2 stars. It was a very good comedy.Rob is very good in this movie taking the animal roles very well.

Marvin Mange (Rob Schneider) is a "wanna be" cop trying to follow his fathers footsteps but cant really make it.When he gets in a deadly car accident off a cliff, a mad scientist then puts him together with animal parts, and thats when all the laughter arrives.
From this point on it is like a rollercoaster ride leaving you thinking "what else is this guy going to do next".I wont tell you the stuff he does as it will take away your imagination. He does catch the eye of Colleen Haskell who is an animal lover.

The DVD also has some nice special features such as : Theartical Trailers,Deleted Scenes, Comedy Central's Reel Comedy, Behind the Scenes Featurette, Production Notes and Commentaries.
My favourite being the Rob Schneider Commentary which is great, funny and interesting and it is like watching a different movie. He shows you the cuts, mistakes, what he didnt like and loved, who got hurt during the movie, where what little things represented and much more. There are alot of stuff from Duece Bigalow in the movie too.

Anyway soon as this DVD hit the shelves i grabbed it and was not dissapionted at all.You will watch it alot especially when friends come over and dont know what to expect of it.If you enjoyed Duece Bigalow you will love this and anyone who wants to see Rob at his best i suggest this is the one to go with.If you are still not sure i strongly suggest to rent it as it is a must see.
It brang out the Animal in me and im shore it will do the same to you!

Summary: Somewhat interesting and funny
Review: It started off well enough, but towards the middle, it just wasn't doing it. The end was a little better.

Anyway, this movie is not for youg kids. There is a lot of sexual behavior. Not necessarily visual, but suggestive.

There are enough funny scenes to keep this movie going. Rob pretty much has to carry the film by himself. His coactors are not in any of the scenes long enough to really be considered anchors.

Despite all this, it is worth the effort and time of watching.

Summary: The cameo by Norm MacDonald alone makes this worth watching
Review: I really went into this movie prepared for trite jokes and a little physical comedy, but I don't think I ever went longer than 5 minutes without laughing (I might have messed myself up there with too many negatives, but you know what I mean).
Anyway, this movie was great for a good laugh, and leaves you feeling good. I really can't imagine anyone not finding this movie at the very least entertaining. Plus, the cameo by Norm at the end of the movie was classic.

Summary: Colleen is very nice
Review: Colleen is very nice, i like her since the survivor series, on animal movie, she looked so cute and nice. rob is quite fun too, but i like deuce bigallow better than this since the plot of animal is more 'dr doolitle' way to me. anyway, this is quite funny movie, comedy lovers should watch it.

Summary: Mildly Funny & Entertaining -- Worth a Look
Review: This is another film by one of the regulars from "Saturday Night Live," and following a long tradition of films by SNL regulars, it's frankly, well, kind of lame. Rob Schneider plays a rookie cop, Marvin, who is terribly injured when his car goes over a cliff (which may have been the funniest scene in the film).

He is found by a kind of mad-scientist veterinarian who puts him back together with animal parts, giving him extraordinary powers. Alas, it also gives him strong animal instincts which are hard to control. This makes for some awkward social situations for Marvin (and laughs for us), as when he can't stop himself from chasing frisbees in the park, or getting randy over a goat in heat.

Undoubtedly the best thing about this movie was the young and lovely Colleen Haskell. She plays Marvin's love interest.

A great film? No way. But okay for a bit of diversion on a rainy afternoon.

Summary: I was left a lil disapointed.
Review: I like Rob Schneider, he is a funny actor. But this movie was just too corny for me....not that some of his other movies arn't..but this one was a lil over the top with stupidness. It did have it's moments but I felt jipped by the end of it. It could of been alot better that it was.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Some Laughs, but Mainly Mind Numbing
Review: The Animal had a really stupid plot, but I thought I would go and rent it anyway. I found that the movie had the humor, but was lacking a storyline, that seemed reasonable.

The Animal is about a looser, who wants to be a cop. But every time he takes the final exam (the physical part), he always fails. He cant seem to get a date, or get any respect from anyone. (Including a group of kids at the police station, which is hilarious). Then some man finds him after a horrific accident. And replaces most of his bodies parts with animal parts. Thus making him able to run, jump, swim, hear, and smell like an animal.

This film isnt too bad, but its not worth buy. One viewing is enough. If you want to see a good Rob Schneider film, go and rent "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalow". Most of The Animal is predictable.

Summary: The Animal
Review: Marvin Mange always wanted to be a police offcer. For days he's been traning for the obstacle course. Then when he tries the obstacle course he does bad. Then a few days later he answers a 911 call and goes to the place on his way there he gets into a really bad car crash up in the mountains. Then a scientist finds him and put animal parts in him. Then a week later he goes back home. Then a few days later he meets Rianna and dates her, then one year later he marries her. When I saw this movie it was great it be more then two thumbs up. I wonder how the carsh was done that was pretty amazing how it looks real. Some of the effect I know like how they made the badger milk look old,How he was able to catch the frisbee,How he ran like a tiger to get away from a car,and how they made it look like the pee o the grass. You'll find out all the effects when you buy the DVD.

this flim is a special thanks to,
Luke Greenfield,Rob Schneider,Adam Sandler,and John Schneider
