Rating: 1 stars
Summary: total garbage, don't waste your time
Review: just another director trying to capitalize on the Star Wars name with a haphazard parody

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: a short reel that never should have been made into a movie
Review: The animated thumbs are amusing, but the effect wears off fast and the movie isn't very well written. The gag lines are few and it ends up being far too long (30 min) for a gag that should have never gone on longer than 5 minutes. I saw previews on tv, the movie doesn't live up to the hype.

Summary: What a hoot!!!
Review: If your a Star Wars fans with a sence of humor then this one is a must. Very well done... The only problem is its just 20 min. or so and you walk away wanting more... more ... more.

Summary: Pre-Order like it's going out of style.
Review: This story of thumbs based off of the original Star Wars trilogy is one of the funniest adaptations in a long time. Steve Oedekerk touches on things that we all have felt while watching the first three, but were never able to voice our opinions on. Main point, letting everyone know just how much of a whiny little girl Luke was. Also with the comment brought up about the "British accents in outer space when there is no Britain." Brilliant. I remember seeing this on UPN when it first came out and I am completely psyched that is coming out on DVD now. Pre-Order now, and enjoy.

Summary: Its Thumb-tastic
Review: When Thumb Wars: The Phantom Cuticle premiered on UPN, it was the best show the network ran. Unfortunately not everyone got a chance to see it. This will change now.

What is so great about Thumbwars and what makes it the best spoof of the Star Wars(tm)(c)(etc) Saga is that it takes the series as a whole, finds its faults and then exploits them, to point out that, hey, yeah, Luke kinda was a whiner, maybe the fact that Obi Wan, coming back to speak to Luke was kinda "creepy," from a certain point of view, Man the Princess could have been a comercial for Cinnabon. Basically it takes something that we love, and tells us what we already knew. But most importanly, it makes us laugh at it.

Filled with great voicing and great dialogue, allow the viewer to just sit back and enjoy the sheer silliness of thumbs as our heroes, from Loke Groundrunner to Hand Duet to Princess Bunhead.
The Special Effects in the show arent all that bad either, in fact, the attack on the thumbstar scene is pretty impressive, from a tv/special point of view.

Needless to say, if you're a Star Wars Fan(or even if you hate it), you'll probably love this spoof. Its story comes from the classic trilogy(the show premiered a few weeks prior to the release of Episode I) and it reflects the creators and directors acknowledgement of the cult and pop culture status of Star Wars.
It also shows that they know where to look for really good comic material.

On October 16th, If you pick up the Episode I, DVD, pick up Thumb Wars which will be released on the same day. Its well worth the price.

So whether join the Thumbellion or turn to the nail-side of the thumb and join the Thumbpire, Just pick up this dvd or video. [....]

Summary: Thumb Wars OWNZ ALL!
Review: This movie rules! This is WAY better than [...] Star Wars.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Amusing, but not that great compared to other "Thumbs."
Review: Oedekerk and his group continue to fascinate with this entry in the Thumbation series. It probably helps to be a "Star Wars" fan to find this "Thumb" entry really funny, but I'm not one of those fans, so much of it fell rather flat in terms of humor to me. High points were the "Hans Solo" counterpart in "Thumb Wars" involved in a conversation where nearly all of Harrison Ford's non-"Star Wars" movies are mentioned, and the revelation of the "Star Wars" Obi Wan Kenobe's counterpart's middle name as a Thumb character. One of my favorite Thumb characters....The One-Eyed Thumb guy--appears yet again...Woo Hoo! I've found other Oedekerk "Thumb" movies more amusing than "Thumb Wars" (though the subtitle "The Phantom Cuticle" WAS amusing.) This effort reminded me a lot of the "Star Wars" parody "Space Balls" done by Mel Brooks, (though without thumbs.) That wasn't one of Brooks' better films, either. So maybe I'm just biased against the "Star Wars" phenomena and even such parodies. My favorite Thumb movie remains "The Blair Thumb," a parody of the awful film "The Blair Witch Project" so I gave this one a slightly lower rating.
