Review: The same naive boy from the original is now a man with a wife (Also from the original) who are living in New York and both working for the same tycoon opportunist. When about this time, who should he find at work one day but his favorite little orphan pet from Chinatown all alone and nowhere to go. And when a nearby office water fountain gets the cute little thing wet, the entire building becomes a playground prison to the Gremlin army. The smart Gremlin is fun to watch as he takes on a role of his own, almost maching Glover's character. As the usual sequel goes, this one is one of the best sequels out there but just can't match the outrageous original.

Review: Distinctly inferior to the original Gremlins, but although immensely silly, this is generally an entertaining sequel. A good way to kill an evening if you liked the first Gremlins -- it's inspired and imaginative -- but ultimately it isn't exactly the gem the first one was.

Summary: Not as good as the first Gremlins film, but worth the watch
Review: Gremlins 2 is a goofy film that has none of the horror element of the first Gremlins movie. It is a series of gags, with only a bare sliver of plot to hold them all together. This movie is very funny, although definately inferior to the first. The special effects are cheesier, and there are "plot holes" in what little plot the film has...but this movie is definately worth seeing if you liked the first film. The worst part of this movie is, in my opinion, Mohawk (the black Mogwai and the Spider Gremlin). He is SUCH a Stripe wannabe. He tries to be impressive and evil as Stripe is, but he fails utterly.

Summary: Love this movie!
Review: This movie is so funny! It's not a bit scary; I watched it with a six-year-old and she was delighted with it to the point of dancing around the room and singing.Although this movie had absolutely no plot it was wonderful comic relief, the music was the kind that makes you want to act like a six-year-old ;) and the gremlins were so cute! Mischeivous wacky fun-loving adorable little creatures that won't let you stop smiling!

Review: I love this movie! The first "Gremlins" was scary,the sequel is hilarious.The idea of the gremlins running amok inside a New York high-rise,is great.This movie has so many in-jokes I have to watch it over and over to find them all,and i'm not done yet.I have probably seen this film 25 times. I've written this before,but "I love Joe Dante films"!!They are the best.He is the most underrated director working today.every film he makes doesn't disappoint.He always works with the best people.Jerry Goldsmith's scores for his films are thegreatest.The critics just don't get Dante's humour,and alot of moviegoers don't either.Gremlins 2 is definately not oscar material,but it is not supposed to be.It's just entertainment,and on that level it succeeds perfectly.If you loved the first gremlins,are a huge movie fan,or just want to laugh like crazy.See this movie.
