Summary: cb movie
Review: This movie was just as good as the seris. Mostly because all the same people who made the seris came back to make the movie. The plot takes place on Mars year 2071. Just days before Halloween a boilgical explosion goes off killing hundreds of people. A reward is offerd of 300 million wu longs. This of course draws the atention of Spike and the rest of the bebop crew. The man responsible for this atack is a man who like Spike has seen death and came back. Only he has the cure for the posin for the disese he set lose.

Thats the plot.

Now for the fight scenes. Just like in the series the fights are great, the animation awsome and the soundtrack good as ever.

If your your a fan of Cowboy Bebop you'll love this, if you like anime you'll love it. To tell the truth I can't see how you couldn't like this. It's one of the best anime movies I've ever seen right behind Ninja Scroll and Akira.

A MUST OWN FOR ANY ANIME FAN!!

Summary: Better to watch BEFORE the series...
Review: This is simply an excellent movie. However, it's easy to forget how well (or not) different characters know eachother after already seeing the series, because you must remember that the movie takes place before any of the stuff in the series does. The main confusion is in how well everyone knows eachother. After 26 episodes they know quite well, but the 26 episodes never happened yet, get me? Some extra little things are explained, too. Like how the crew found Edward and Ein. Trust me, after watching the movie you'll want to watch the rest of the series. (BTW- AMAZON.COM truely does have the best price on the box-set).

Summary: GREAT MOVIE - ALL IN ALL
Review: I noticed (as compared to original film) some little edits, and ommisions here and there in the movie. I was only *slightly* disappointed at that. Besides that, the movie was great! Voice acting done well...everything's just perfect as usual, for BEBOP! But I don't need to tell any of you BeBop fans THAT ! You already know it!

Summary: Another great episode.
Review: Feeling more like an extended episode of the series than a ground breaking movie, this Bebop never-the-less delivers elements that made the series so marvelous. A quirky mix of jazz, funk, and pop music woven through the sensibilities of Yoko Kanno combine with lush visuals and the characters seldom likeable on their own, but who gel as a group. Spike, Faye, Jet, Ein, and the ever noxious Edward return to try and collect on a large bounty on a suspected bio terrorist. This terrorist, Vincent, is a nihilist looking to take out everyone along the way as he seeks release from his self described purgatorial existence. With Spike and the gang on his tail it's only a matter of time before the mystery is unraveled, but not before Spike meets a gal who he could love because 'she could kick my ass.' It felt a little disjointed to me since I haven't been in this universe since I poured through the prior series' DVD almost two years ago. Playing them one after another would have helped I think, overall though it is still heads above other contemporary anime in terms of storyline, acting, music and to a lesser extent, character development. One just gets the feeling that the larger canvas of a movie could have been used to further flesh out the protagonists; we're not left knowing much more than when we started. Still highly recommended.

Summary: Literally, a Blast!
Review: Most of the movie was fast moving and interesting. Not much in the way of cutsey fairy anime, mostly hardcase action movie stuff. Interesting characters and villains. I plan to watch this one over and over.

Summary: The best movie you'll find
Review: Think of it, Pizza, Bling, Bling, Anime, Spike, and that Bebop feeling. Times that by 15, and times it by 15 again. That's this movie. If you don't hate Bebop, you'll love this movie. I love the series, and I saw this my eyes shot open. 2,000,000 times better than the movie. Rating: *****

Summary: Speachless
Review: Imagine, action, pizza, women, and that Bebop feeling, amplify that 5 times, and amplify it 5 more times, that's this movie. It is awesome, twice as good as the series. You don't know how many movies that bow down to the Bebop empire. See this, if you haven't you are diseased. SEE IT! Rating: *****

Summary: all I can say is wow
Review: ok, first of all, I would like to say that I am a 13-year-old guy who is into rock and weird music like Radiohead. I'm really interested in Japan and it's culture so one night i watched Cowboy Bebop on Cartoon Network not knowing that it was a cult classic. I really enjoyed the show, the art itself, for I am an artist myself, was very intense. I had never seen anything like it, so I decided to buy the DVD without seeing the movie in theaters. I was really pleased because the movie really feels like a long episode, with a good plot and good art. Really amazing, I wish I could put more stars. Now I really look down apon ... american movies. hehe. One downside of the movie though, what was up with all that weird american music in the credit scene and in the flying scene, it was kinda outta place. Otherwise this is a great movie! Get it now.

Summary: That series is crazy, this movies crazy man.
Review: I had watched this movie about a month after I got dvd 2. Right away I was confused at Spike's voice. However I noticed the base was turned up, and it sounds awesome. As I watched I realized they used the same American voices, which is great. Great action, right from the start. There is a little too much talking, but great action. The movie is supposedly taken place right before hard luck woman, as I have read somewhere. I have seen the whole series now, and yes, it could fit there. It defintely takes place after dvd 2 and before hardluck woman, so you can come up with your own instance, it's all the same. The bounty on the guy is suppose to be the biggest ever, yet it isn't what intrests you, because you know they never get the bountys. Anyways, the movie does a nice job.

The characters stay true to the way they are in the series. There is the crazy Ed, and such, the rest of them are all great. I think if I saw this movie after I had seen the series I would not have enjoyed it as much, but it truly shines by the end. They show one of the coolest spaceship battles in the whole series. Then we see probably the best hand to hand fight since "Asteroid Blues". It lasts long, and has plenty of jaw spitting kicks. Plus it is in the "Rain".

Sound works well, lots of base. If you have a sub-wolfer it should sound pretty nice. Not alot of extras, but you're here for the movie right. I would suggest buying it if you are a CBebop fan. Otherwise, it may not be as great to you.
