Summary: Cool :-)
Review: I liked the movie. What the hell is wrong with all you sci fie freaks? can't you take a bloody movie that was just for fun? I liked this movie, it was a nice, enjoyable movie to sit back and relax to. plus, Bruce Willis is one fine guy. You want to see a pathetic movie? Go see Star Trek.

Summary: Just another sci-fi movie
Review: This is just another of those sci-fi movies which failed to hold my attention for the full length of the movie. It has the oft repeated line of total destruction and the hero trying to save the world. Poor story line and No great special effects make it just another sci-fi movie.

Summary: Star Wars Fans can love this movie too!
Review: I grew up with Star Wars, and still love it today, but times, tastes and styles do change. It doesn't make one "better" than another, just different. I, for one, absolutely love this movie! It's fun, flashy, thin in spots and hopelessly romantic, but also very positive about the future (if a bit crowded). Futuristic New York is enough to give you vertigo! The visuals, set designs, aliens and costumes are amazing - if you don't like this movie's look, you are probably dead.

Mila makes Leeloo "perfect" as the Supreme Being out to protect all mankind - innocent and wise all at once; and you just can't fault Bruce for doing what he does so well, a cynical wisecracking working stiff just looking for that "one perfect woman". But the secondary characters are what truly makes this one fun: "Weddings?" - Ian Holm delivers classic straight lines and Chris Tucker is just high-energy comedy as Ruby Rhodd (that trashy radio guy) - I roll on the floor every time I watch this - and it's definitely one to watch over and over for the incredible detail and sheer visual magic.

Buy widescreen and see the whole thing!

Summary: Luc Besson's lightest film, but good all the same
Review: I'm a fan of writer/director Luc Besson, and this is by far the least representative of his work. But it's still quite good, if only for the incredibly imaginitive world it takes place in (I'm also a fan of Jean "Moebius" Giraud, one of the movie's designers).

If you liked The Fifth Element's world, you might want to check out Brazil, a dystopian movie in a no less imaginitive universe.

Summary: Good light hearted movie.
Review: When I first saw the previews for this movie I didn't care much for it. I was never really a big fan of Willis (his facial expressions remind me too much of Clint Eastwoods) because of his one dimensional roles. Recently I've grown to stand him to an extent, roles in Mercury Rising and the Sixth Sense show he's not just another action adventure star. I saw this movie on dvd just for the fact that it's supposed to have amazing special effects but in the process I saw much more, A very funny and light hearted movie that pokes fun at many things. As always too much of anything is not a good thing, sometimes the colorful sets and cute looking aliens were overwhelming, this script wasn't much of one, the acting wasn't Oscar material.. but all that didn't take much away from the fact that this movie is extremely fun to watch. This movie is highly recommended.

Summary: BETTER than STAR WARS: Episode 1,4,5 or 6!
Review: I loved this movie. Many people seem to compare it to Star Wars so I am and I think The Fifth Element is definitely BETTER than any of them. Maybe it's because I never grew up with Star Wars. The first time I saw SW, I was bored to hell, overly long and was only good at the time. Anyway, here is how I rate THE FIFTH ELEMENT: Cinematography: Wonderful. Music: Fantastic, you gotta love CHAPTER 27 on the DVD, (BUY Eric Serra's Soundtrack, so you can listen to the movie whenever you can't watch it) Art Direction: Brilliant, I've never so much color and detail put into everything. Costumes: Superb, LOVE that orange. Acting: Well, I love Milla, the stewardesses and you gotta love Chris Tucker. Plot: Pretty good, but done very well with the parallel editing to different people/scenes. Picture Quality: PERFECT(9.5/10). AUDIO Quality: PERFECT(10/10). Extras: ? PUT OUT a SPECIAL EDITION Luc! This doesn't even have a trailer on it! **And for all those who didn't like it, you probably are a major Star Wars fan who doesn't want any movie to be better than your lovey, dovey Star Wars.** All in all, this movie/DVD is wonderful, and you should definitely consider owning it.

Summary: Tricky is so awesome!
Review: I can't believe people missed out in Tricky in this movie. He impresses me in this, his acting debut. (By the way, he was Gary oldman's main henchman: the guy sent to take Korben Dallas' place).

Anyway, to the movie. This movie is up there in the best sci-fi films Ive ever seen (and Ive seen many). Its going to become a classic; just you wait and see.

Definitely, get it on Video, DVD or whatever. You won't be disappointed, unless you are not open minded.

Summary: I dont know what I loke so much about this...
Review: But, i do. A lot. On the surface, this movie seems very cheesy, light, and shoty, but if you look at the detail put into this movie it is astounding, from the basic story to the fact that there isnt even paper anymore. Bruce willis plays the usual burnt out cop, but with a little twist, and mila jovavich does a great job (especially since she had to recite a completely made up, but fully working language) I am a fan of sci-fi, and I have seen better, but i really do like this flick, and it is a main contender for DVD. Once again I dont know what i like so much about this movie, but i really do.

Review: No words... U must see it!

Summary: My Jaw dropped......
Review: I could not believe how stupid this movie was..By the time Chris Tucker came on the screen with perhaps the most idiotic acting portrayal of all time(yes worse than Jar Jar), i was ready to Hurl..maybe its a French thing with Luc Besson..I cant think of anything else that could explain a movie like this.
