Summary: GREAT MOVIE!!!!
Review: This movie was awesome. When I saw it in the theature, most people screamed and gasped at some real looking events! It is suspensful and fits unique things about his kids into the plot. I hope when you get to see this, you like it too!!

Summary: Great Movie!
Review: I loved "Signs" and think that it is one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time!! However, it is not what I originally thought it would be; I thought it was a movie about an alien invasion, like "Independence Day". Rather, it is a movie about beliefs. The special effects used, or as some would say, not used, all go to support this theme of the movie. My husband wanted more special effects but agreed that they would have taken away from the focus of the movie and detracted from the message. Plenty of suspense, lots of thrills, and quite a bit of humor make this a really fun movie to watch. There's also enough substance in it to make you want to see it again.

Summary: This movie is REALLY bad/disappointing
Review: Yeah, I thought this movie was going to really sort of creepy...the way they marketed it, you'd think the majority of the movie would be about crop circles and stuff. In a word NO...its cheesy its cliched (*spoiler*) you see big green men running around...it doesn't work...you leave the theatre going "oh my god...I can't believe A grade actors worked with an A grade director to produce this C grade movie."

Guys...don't waste your time.

Summary: DAM SCARY, an instant classic...
Review: Before I saw this movie (the day it came out) the only movie that had truly scared me was the original 'Halloween.' Michael Myers now has company. And like the 1978 horror classic, 'Signs proves that it isn't what you see, but what you don't see that will eventually get you.
This movie was unbelievable! Scary, tense, suspensful and clever are all words that I could use to describe but I don't think that they would get my point across as to how much I really enjoyed this movie. This movie made being scared fun. This movie could has so many elements to it; Sci-fi, horror, drama, suspense, action, comedy; Shyamalan has really outdone himself, even on the sixth sense. Which I didn't think he could do. Its as though he tells you what is coming but that you are still going to be surprised when it gets here.
I loved the whole science versus religion theme of the movie. I thought it was excellently tied in at the end. The biggest plus was that every element was tied together nicely, and in doing so, form a real question about faith in our culture. And if you think about it this whole movie is filmed and thought out in a way that only adds to the tension.
The tension created by this movie is unlike any I've seen in recent memory, and could give Hitchcock a run for his money.
Cinematography, Plot and direction aside I would be blind if I didn't point out the Oscar-worthy performances of Mel Gibson and Joquain Phoenix. They compliment each other so well that this movie wouldn't have been half of what it was without them.
This is not only a movie to see, but a movie to own (DVD Release 7 jan.) even if ultimately it will lose some of its suspense the more you watch it. But oh well, everyone remembers their first time right?

Review: It is not a scary movie.
The director was trying to make us laugh, I think.

Summary: Scary!!!
Review: This is the 2nd scariest movie of the year. The scariest being The Ring. This is definately worth a look. I suggest seeing this movie. It'll scare you, shock you, and thrill you. It's got a pretty simple plot, so that means it's one that anyone can enjoy. Contrary to what some reviewers said, there are no enormous plot holes. This is good, so buy it now!

Summary: Creepy for awhile, but always funny...
Review: I went to this movie, not knowing what the exact plot was. I had seen one preview. I never expected this good of a movie.
Basic plot- Farmer Graham(Mel Gibson) wakes up one morning to discover strange symbols in his cornfield. Slowly, things get even stranger. The local animals start acting strange. He sees disturbing shadow figures prowling around his house and feild at night. Crop circles are popping up all over the world...
This movie has genuine charm to it. The first time I saw it, it gave me horrible creeps(coming from someone who thought 'The Exorcist' wasn't scary). It still makes me laugh. It has great suspense, and also great family value as well.
The one star taken off is for the aliens actual appearance once they come out of the shadows...their faces are more comic than creepy. Another reason a star is taken off, is because Mr Shyamalan(I know I misspelled that) called sharers('bootleggers') douchebags.
All in all, though, its a very good movie that you should enjoy.

Summary: Cheesy, religious and dull...
Review: This movie was not at all what I expected. There were some moments that were somewhat scary, and some of the faimly dynamics were somewhat interesting. The acting was also ok. But the plot was VERY far fetched. I mean, come on, it is a alien movie that trys to make you believe in god's plan. How cheezy can you get. For the supper religious, you will probably enjoy the religious aspect of it. For everyone else, it just seems too much for even suspended disbelief to believe. The aliens also looked really fake. Some of the dialogue that was supposed to have impact seemed silly. I was very disappointed.

Summary: Very good movie
Review: This is such a good movie. I saw it 5 times in theaters with my friend, and it honestly is one of my favorite movies. Its so scary, and has awesome parts that just jump out at you and make you scream. Its just a very enjoyable movie. I loved it :) The actors were good, mel was a little funny in places but thats just mel being mel. You should definetely see it.
