Review: This movie went ballistic from start to finish. I haven't seenA Movie so action packed since "ALIENS". the "freezeframe and spin" FX is one of the newest & coolest photography technics used today. the "Hong Kong the music and slowmo action were perfectly blended as smooth as silk-this film had john woo style written all over it. I loved the characters and everybody lookin' cool in blackleather. This movie had a lot of twists & turns that kept you on edge of your seat and aching for more. "What a rush- a must see over and over again type a movie"!!! other action movie makers should look at this movie if they're wondering what the people want...Buy this movie now!!!!!!

Summary: Sci-Fi Action at it's very best
Review: 1999 will be remembered for three films - The Phantom Menace, Eyes Wide Shut and The Matrix. The Matrix is everything that the Phantom Menace isn't - well written, well acted, well directed and clever. Yes there are some rather large plot holes but if you can suspend your disbelief then this is nothing but EXCELLENT. This is one of the few movies that hasn't made me start to look at my watch towards the end hoping it would finish. While watching this film nothing else enters your mind but the story - not ex-girlfriends - not troublesome friends - not the annoying sod next to you telling you that he has the same computer as Neo - absolutely NOTHING!! This, along with Ghostbusters, will certainly become a DVD must buy.

Review: Carried by the strong performances of Lawrence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss, as well as the technically innovative and artistically brilliant special effects, the Matrix is by far the best film of 1999. Great supporting performances by Joe Pantoliano as the sarcastic defector and Hugo Weaving as the over-enunciating Agent Smith counterbalance Keanu Reeves lack of any personality.If you see one film this year, see the Matrix.

Review: geez with all the star wars hype you'd wouldve thought the movie CANT be that bad but huh.... To be fair, The Matrix isnt really a movie for children. But its the best scifi thriller of the year for us adults. Oh ya and no Jar Jar.:)

Summary: Finally, all that video-game playing was good for something!
Review: If you like seeing superhuman heroes in cool-looking outfits blowing away cops and security guards, this is your movie. The special effects are amazing and the fight choreography is not bad, but man, is the plot stupid. Way too many holes. Who is the Oracle? What's the point of venturing into the matrix if you can't beat the agents? I suppose this is every teenage boy's fantasy: you must use your top-notch video game skills to save the planet. Don't get me wrong. This is a good action-adventure, but it is not the be-all and end-all of the genre. When the special effects become dated, there won't be much reason to watch this one.

Review: I thought this movie was amazing. It's lack of dialogue made the graphics and storyline even more interesting. I personally loved it and saw it 5 times in the theaters. WOW!! That was an awesome movie.

Review: i think the matrix is not as good as everyone says. there are many unlogical things in the plot. what's the reason why the computers generate an artifical world for their "humanbodyslaves"? why they don't keep the bodys alive without any brain activity? they would have less problems...

Review: This has to be one of the worst movies of all time. Great special effects but so video games have those and don't purport to be a decent movie. Has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. At least if it was a video game I would have only wasted a quarter.
