Summary: BITING FUN
Review: Coming on the overwhelming reception for JURASSIC PARK, hence came CARNOSAUR. Long-time b-horror maven Bert I. Gordon got a bigger budget and has delivered a bloody but diverting monster movie.
Brilliant geneticist Diane Ladd has created a virus which she is putting in chickens, so that when they hatch their eggs, they are being sold and unwary citizens are eating the eggs and getting sick, and even worse...won't spoil the plot. Ladd's performance is so coldy calculating that she comes across as one of the most intriguing villainesses in some time.
Raphael Sbarge is a construction maintenance worker who guards the equipment from a group of protesters, wherein he meets Jennifer Runyon (a strong Mariel Hemingway lookalike) and they inevitably fall in love after being saved from the evil Carnosaur.
The dinosaur effects are nowhere near as brilliant as Jurassic's, but they are convincing enough---even when they're munching on someone's arms or legs. Harrison Page as the stalwart sheriff meets his fate in a rather ouch way...
I haven't seen the sequels yet, but this is an above average thrillfest.

Review: Everything about this movie is just plain wrong. The dinosaurs are unconvicing, the plot is ludicrous, the gore is outrageous, and there is no respect or panache given to it's subject. These dinosaurs aren't even treated with awe. Instead, they are simply unkillable monsters who's sole purpose is to destroy the human race. Jurassic Park is the Dinosaur movie of 1993 to see. Jurassic Park. Not Carnosaur.

Review: Green rubber puppets masquerading as dinosaurs hatch from genetically altered chicken eggs to wreak havoc in this pathetic ripoff of "Jurassic Park." Diane Ladd, whose talents are wasted in practically every scene she's in, plays the mad scientist behind the ordeal.

A cheap-looking, poorly made, and downright stupid movie if there ever was one. Stick with Steven Spielberg and Michael Crichton, but avoid this Z-grade stinker at all costs. It's junk.

Summary: Good,Gory,Low Budget Fun
Review: I dug the whole concept,and the fun gore scenes. However,I could have done without the "women pregnant with dinos" idea,but it was all around fun,and better than its procedures.Add to that,Clint Howard is in this one,so you now its low budget,but its also somewhat chilling at times,and its storyline is unique and creative.

Review: I liked Carnosaur very much. It is not well known but still good. You can tell when the dinosaur is a rubber T-Rex. They're are some things I would have changed though, if I were the Director. I would rate this movie R For Stronge gorey monster violence and some language. Carnosaur is very bloody and has lots of arms, legs and heads being riped off. I own this movie on VHS and DVD. The DVD does not caintain much special features though.

Review: O.K. we can admit that this movie is in the wrong when the graphics take place. I mean its hard to enjoy this film looking at a dummy. besides that this film is pretty cool. it has a great storyline behind it. the acting though is kind of but besides that this movie is alright.

Review: Okay , the acting i might be able to deal with. But the special effects were awful-the dinosaurs were abominations . The death scenes were overkill and the plot was pathetic . Now if you're a college guy who likes disgusting , low budget B-movies with poor endings , this is for you . For anyone else , don't waste your time .

Review: Okay, okay, so it isn't the best dinosaur movie ever made, but the over-the-top gore and good acting make this movie worth seeing. The dinosaurs were pretty cool, and the special effects were awesome! Go see Carnosaur for a great time!
