Summary: Let's kick some liquid metal butt!!!
Review: This great film contains the best action sequences I have ever seen in a movie. All the actors in this movie give superb performances, including Edward Furlong. Along with Ripley in Aliens, Sarah Connor (played by Linda Hamilton) represents one of the strongest and most determined female characters ever to appear in motion picture. Although Sarah Connor appears to be more of a terminator a few times in this movie rather than a human being, she still shows her maternal and other female instincts. That makes her an incredibly believable character. But so is every other character in this film. All scenes in T2 are very well tuned up; none of them looks silly. I can watch it several times a week and never get tired of it. Terminator 2: Judgment Day outclasses its prequel, The Terminator, in every way except atmosphere. I still do not understand how the sunglasses incident at the beginning and the "I need a vacation." line at the end of the movie could be included. I know it is only minor, but still... In The Terminator, the dark atmosphere evoked by the nuclear holocaust to come is evident throughout the entire movie, mainly by inclusion of very timely shots from the hellish future. In T2, we see very impressive introductory scene from the future and then, after more than an hour, a Sarah's dream in which Los Angeles is destroyed by a nuclear explosion. Other than that, we have no direct experience of the dark world to come. T2 is also too preachy. The message Cameron wanted to give us in the prequel was clear even without explicitly stating it. In T2, many lines were used to actually express that message. My conclusion is clear: although technically much better than its predecessor, it is overall not as good as the original. I recommend that all those who know James Cameron only in connection with Titanic, give this movie a try. It is not a love story as is Titanic, but it will give you a much broader perspective on the greatest director of all time.

Summary: Still love this DVD, but no Director's Cut?
Review: My only gripe is that I have the Director's Cut on LaserDisc. Shame on me for not realizing until after I bought it, but still a great DVD. The deleted scenes are very much needed to reinforce the 'humanization' of the cyborg. Very much an effects movie, but who cares? A great time.

Review: Can I? I don't think so, but I do. If you had the chance to see this movie, you understand it's a masterpiece. I watched it about 25 times, without kidding.

I was amazed by all special effects with T-1000 (Robert Patrick plays a fabulous cyborg, his face is not very good-looking, if you know what I mean) and 212 (Arnold Schwarzenegger just plays perfectly there). I just wonder if Cameron will make a film as good as this one (sorry, but I consider Titanic as below Terminator 2).

Summary: Billions died. I hope they saw this movie first.
Review: "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," the sequel to 1984's "The Terminator," was a great sequel. Arnold comes back as the famous T-800. His mission is to protect John Connor (Edward Furlong) from the T-1000 (Robert Patrick). The story is great, as before the T-800 begins his mission, he and John must free John's mother from a Los Angeles clinic. Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) joins the team. Linda Hamilton plays a different Sarah Connor. In the first movie, she was a scared woman, now she has become a rebel. The movie has great humor from the T-800 as he learns to be more human. Great drama between John, his mother, and the T-800 from Sarah's point of view. She learns that the Terminator will not stop loving him, how it would never leave him, or get drunk and hit him, and how out of all the fathers in the world, this thing, this machine, was the only one who measured up, "in a world of insanity, it was the sanest choice." There is lots of action once Arnold gets hold of a 9mm, some machine guns, a mini gun, shotgun, and a grenade launcher. There are spectacular special effects which come from the T-1000 (Who is made of Liquid Metal). It definately lived up to the first film. What really made it great, is that we learn who was responsible for the creation of SkyNet, in my opinion.

Summary: Cameron's best
Review: Being that this my favorate movie, it automaticly gets 5 stars. Whats to hate about this movie, it has the best damn visual effects ever and it won 4 Oscars. (Which, in my opinion, are way to over-rated.) This movie also beat the living hell out of Titanic.

Summary: WHO SAYS THAT SEQUELS CAN'T BE BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL??!!
Review: THIS MOVIE WAS AWESOME!!AND I thought that the first Terminator was good!! MAN... But this.. this was a masterpiece. James Cameron did the "impossible" of creating a sequel better than the original.

What made this movie spectacular is that it had more action, more cool special effects, more suspense, and even more surprises that the already great "Terminator". The plot was great!! Whereas, in the first movie we just got a piece of the plot about the future.. We got the other half of the plot in this movie!

What can I say? This movie was waaaaaaaaaaay cool! I loved the T-1000! He was awesome! The entire liquid metal concept was so cool and James Cameron did a really SUPERB job of making the T-1000 formidable and elicit fear within the audience. He made him into a character that you would not want to mess with. This movie was dark and I loved it because the idea of cyborgs possibly wiping off humanity is a serious and grim concept.

One of the best movies I have ever seen and that is a fact! I LOVED this film. This movie puts a stigma into the old credence that sequels are always worse than the original. That need not be so always. Other movies that I thought were better than the original were Rocky 4 and both Episodes 5 and 6 to the Star Wars Trilogy.

Review: In this action packed sequel Arnold Scharzennegger is now the protector to the future leader of the resistance to those blood thirsty cyborgs.the new terminator is the highly advanced T-1000 and he is outrageus.Even meaner than the last one, he murders the boys foster parents and then go's on a journey to kill the boy.A must see movie for the teens in the family.

Summary: Fantastic in many ways.
Review: A great sci-fi thriller about two cyborgs from the future: One's trying to kill a little boy who will be aresistance fighter in the future the other's trying to stop him. Arnold's defining movie. Non-stop action! Great story as well. Amazing special effects (mostly the T-1000). A must-see.
