Summary: A great film with a lot of suspense.
Review: I think that this film was a very good movie. It had a lot of action and suspense which kept me entertained throughout the entire film. It also had some very impressive and amazing effects which were also enjoyable. The performances by the film's cast were convincing and believable. I disagree with the critics who think that is a boring or depressing film. I personally liked this film and I think that it's really worth watching.

Summary: Good action movie but the book is better ...
Review: I think that Tom Clancy's books are much better than their films. And this is again true in this movie. As a miniseries is very good and you will sure have a good time if you like this kind of action movie.

For those interested in the spanish subtitles of this DVD, I can tell you that they do not work properly. There is a 10 to 12 second delay between their english pronunciation and the appearance of the corresponding subtitles on screen. It does not sound like much, but 10 seconds in a movie is a long time, and completely destroys your understanding and enjoyment of the film.

I can not understand why some DVD producers disregard the importance of good quality second language subtitles or dubbing as in this case, if the USA and Canadian market have so many spanish speaking and french speaking people.

Summary: It's okay
Review: I was forced to sit and watch this in class during one of my computer classes since the teacher in there only let us watch movies that were "computer related". I thought that it's not the best computer movie that was made but not the worst one either. If you're into Tom Clancy than get it, if not than pick up Hackers on DVD, it's much better.

Summary: Trite, slow, boring, inaccurate - Minus 5 stars
Review: I've read a lot of Tom Clancy bookds and seen his movies...this is really a travesty...a poor premise/plot, a clunky use of technology throughout, just a sad, sad excuse for a movie. By the way, I really have begun to dislike Scott Pakula as an actor, he's not too smart and in my mind has screwed up Enterprise ... he does an equally lame job here

Summary: Tom Clancy's Netforce
Review: I've read some of Tom Clancy's works before. They are all quite entertaining in their own different way. However, the only one of Clancy's works transferred to the screen I've bothered to watch was Netforce. That was strictly to see Scott Bakula again. Scott's portrayal of Alex was a gem to see. After Netforce, I went out to find other books in this series and only read the Alex parts!

Summary: Weak Effort.
Review: I, like many others, have been drawn to Clancy books since reading "The Hunt for Red October." However, I've been cautious to stay away from books called, "Tom Clancy's ______." Despite having some Clancyesque plot lines and subject matter, these books never quite capture the intracies or intelligence of his other works, not to mention that most of these books were not written by Clancy. You can almost describe them as Clancy-lite.

When I first saw NetForce at HMV, a little voice inside me kept screaming caveats, but I was clearly too deaf to listen. I actually paid FULL price for NetForce rather than order it from Buy.com.

I should have listened to myself. This film is aweful. Scott Bakula is barely competent, but even so he does not seem to move beyond his Sam Beckett character from Quantum Leap. Rhodes Scholar Kris Kristofferson is actually good, although the absurdity of his character transcends belief. Everyone else, Brian Dennehy included, is relatively nondescript and blend seemlessly into the bland background. A few token scenic shots of Washington, DC kept me awake, but in whole this film is to be avoided.

It is even more sad that Clancy would even allow his name to be associated with this project. To think that the same man who brought us "Hunt for Red October" can be reduced to "NetForce."

Summary: Robert Lieberman couldn't direct traffic
Review: Much less this movie. Can I accuse good actors of bad acting? Well I am. This movie while having potential overall rates as horrible. It's the kind of movie you would be annoyed if you had rented it. Don't buy it!

Summary: Great With Knowledge from th book
Review: Ok, Some people say this is the worst thing Clancy ever put his name to, and their probaly right. I suggest that before viewing this movie read the corresponding book, to see how the charcters do develop and the plot unfolds. As for the movie everything is rushed and inappreciated, but since it carries the name Clancy you can almost be assured that whatever is the movie or book has some bearing and isn't complete rubbish

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best goddam movie ever.
Review: One of the greatest movies I've seen in years
