Summary: Pretty Good Sci-fi Movie
Review: This one of the above average sci-fi movies that come out. It is very good if your looking for a sci-fi movie to rent. It has some good acting and neat special effects. The story goes; an abandonded calvery under a cold war find out that an even greater terror lurks beneath the sands of Sirrius 6B, the screamer (blades in the ground). Pretty good, watchable, above average sci-fi movie with some noble actors, go rent it tonight.

Summary: One of my favorite movies
Review: What i like about this movie is that it is what it would be like in the future except for the screamers of course. The story is kinda sad in my opinion, especially when they show the city.I mean the snow itself gives it a cold dark and depressing look all on it's own.But to walk in a city with nobody around,and as destroyed as it was. There are only two problems i don't like about the movie.I know the movie came out in like 1996 but it still seemed generic in my opinion,not totally but when you look at today's movie magic and the stuff they did in screamers,you just start thinking,were we that primitive?And how bad a threat were those david's?They walked very slow,and only have a blade in one of their hands.The only way those kids would be able to kill them is if they creeped up on them,but how can they when they always say "Can i come with you?" Another dissappointment is how everybody they met except that guy in glasses was a machine.Why did they keep him alive?He was the only human in that whole complex.and the machines knew that he was human. Other than thoes it does tell a great story and it is a movie to watch over and over again.

Summary: This is quite embarrassing
Review: When I saw this (in the cinema) about 6 years ago, I had never actually been frightened by a movie before. I saw it with a girlfriend and a bunch of mates who all giggled all the way through the film and agreed it was probably the worst movie thay'd ever seen. Part of me agreed with them.

But another part of me was absolutely terrified for the next 3 or 4 weeks. I'm talking nightmares, not wanting to be alone in dark rooms... The blokes knew how to rev me up - they'd just whisper "Can I come with you?" at me. That god-damned line still chills me.

I don't know how to rate Screamers, because I didn't like it much and everyone else thought it blew dog. And my girlfriend at the time was the sort who's usually crap herself at a horror flick, and she thought it was fairy floss.

But it remains to this day the only film that has truly pulverised me with fear. I guess I'm a bit of a weirdo eh? :)
