Summary: Amazon needs to allow a 'ZERO star' rating
Review: Giving this movie 1 star is giving it more than it deserves. This movie is TERRIBLE. It has no story, unlikable characters, cheap sets and kills off two great characters saved in ALIENS. David Fincher has gone on to direct some quality movies (Seven, The Game) but I am sure he would rather forget this bomb. Save your money and save your time and watch something else.

Summary: What for?
Review: Why was alien 3 made?Who had the guts to say to 20th century fox,Hey lets make alien 3?A movie by all means never ever should have been made?Who?Why?I mean alien 3 is long, boring, and without imagination. Really puts down Alien and Aliens, two movies I love. But when you stand it up to Alien resurection,it is good.Allthough alien 3 is 2 hours and 15 minutes of my life i will NEVER get back its worth a watch for fans of the alien movies.

Summary: THE FIRST BETTER , BUT THE THIRD A DEFINITE MASTERPIECE
Review: Unfortunatley James Cameron ruined the whole series by injecting us with the action laden effects of the second film in the Alien series. Don't get me wrong , I liked Cameron's film and consider it a great acheivement. But the third can seem dull after seeing the second installment. Sigorney Weaver is once again thrown into the Alien horror stories and is forced to fight , literally , to the death. Fincher is a rising director with a new and hip style. His eerie atmospheres create the perfect environment for the Alien beast and his story takes us back in time to the first film. In the first film there was only one Alien to destroy. We felt the sheer power of the animal because it killed everyone except Ripley. This film goes that same direction. Fincher's treatment of the Alien was something I really enjoyed. To me this film will be viewed more as a career starter for Fincher than anything else. That is , as well , unfortunate. People didn't like it as much as the first and second because it didn't move nearly as fast. But to me it moved at just the right pace. And the ending was perfect. In my opinion the series should have ended there , especially with the rediculous fourth one. But even I am guilty of wanting to see Ripley charge the screen again after the only species beside Predator to outlive almost every star , no matter how big or good.

Summary: Alien3 is my second favorite Alien movie but it is great
Review: Alien3 has a very cleverly designed plot, which is one of the reasons why I like it. It has a very interesting cast and ends the trilogy (the first three movies) perfectly. If you have seen the first 2 movies, then don't hesitate to see it. All of the characters are endearable (including the alien). I can't tell who ever reads this the plot, only because it would give it all away. The thing I like about the trilogy is that each movie picks up where the predecessor left off. I haven't seen the DVD version, but either format, it is a kick-a** movie, and I seriously reccomend it.

Summary: There is a point in time where it gets old.
Review: The Alien thrillogy was well thought out and acted out of the scrupts very well, but after part two the plot got old very quickly. It got boring as being part of the same series. The directors should make an Alien vs. Predator movie and end it all there, once and for all. Alien Ressurection was a great movie filled with action, suspense, and twist, but the plot itself is tiring.

Summary: Easily the worst of the series
Review: I am a big fan of the first two movies, and thats where it ends for me because the next two sequels were among the worst sequels in cinematic history. If Ed Wood had been put in the directors chair he would have done a better job. In my opinion it should never have been made. RUBBISH!

Summary: Very underrated movie.
Review: The first time I saw this flick in the cinema I was furious with the errors they made in the script. There was never any explanation how one facehugger could impregnate Ripley as well as the dog on Fury 161, there was no explanation as to why this alien is different from all other aliens. How could Ripley ever get impregnated if her cryotube is still intact. But when viewing it again and again and again, I realised that if you look through these errors, you end up with a pretty decent horror movie.

The good thing about this movie is the way Ripley changes again into a new being without hope, but with a lot of acceptance of her new role in the universe.

I however feel this movie could have been done a lot better.

Summary: Interstellar despair
Review: By far the best of the Alien series, but also the least appealing to the mass audience. While the first two movies were more typical horror movies where the evil is expunged and the hero restores order, Alien 3, from the shocking initial scenes to the end, is a movie of despair and resignation. Instead of kicking some alien ass (all they end up doing is killing themselves when they try), this movie is about coming to terms with the fact that we all will die (soon) and there is no heroic escape from this fact. Whether you agree with this or not, Fincher's dark filming and the brooding plot make for a unique film experience which will have no appeal to audiences in search of escapist entertainment.

Summary: Depressing
Review: If this were a movie on its own, not meant to be a sequel, it might be ok. It had a very frightening atmosphere. I think I was expecting more when I watched this movie recently, but it left me feeling horribly depressed. I suppose the storyline couldn't allow Hicks and Newt to survive but I think it was unnecessary to show the bodies of the characters I grew attached to in the last film.

Ok, besides my own unhappy feelings towards the movie, it was quite unrealistic. If you follow the story of the first two Alien movies in the series, there's no way there could have been an alien on their ship. I completely disregard this movie and I don't think I should have wasted my time watching it.

Summary: David Fincher's strong debut film
Review: This movie got a bad rap and I never understood why. Sure the ending was similar to T2,and although the film makers say that they hadn' t even seeen T2, it still seems stolen. It was, however, a good ending. I thought it was important for the (then) trilogy to come to that conclusion. As for the rest of the movie, David Fincher treats us to fantastic visuals with moody lighting and creepy sets. The character conflicts are very much in the same vein as the first film. Charles Dutton and Charles Dance are especially effective. The killing off of Hicks and Newt really irritated people when this came out. I feel that if they had not, then it would have turned into Aliens 2.
