Summary: Two DVD masterpices in one great set!
Review: Jurassic Park & The Lost World: Jurassic Park make fantastic DVD's. The two films ara brath taking with there special affects and action. The films are loaded with extras that are amaing. Making of movie, story boards, interviws, trailers, and much, much more. Of course everyone knows how fantastic Jurassic Park was but I've heard people bad mouthing the squeal. I have no idea why! The Lost World was fantastic. Almost as good as the original. The T-Rex's attacking the trailer was one of the most coolest scens i've ever seen. Both this movies are classic's and must's on DVD! Add the mto your collection!
Note: If you are a huge JP fan tou may know Jurassic Park 3 is out. Now you can buy Jurassic Park, The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3 in a box set that comes with a four special disc. So if you hated part 3 and just want the firt two, than buy this awsome pack of the two movies that will never be forgotton!

Summary: Woo Hoo!
Review: Awesome! "Jurassic Park" is still my favorite movie of all time. With special effects that were unseen at that time bringing the dinosuars to life was unbelievable. Had great "edge-of-your-seat" action that carried you throught the whole movie. Jeff Goldblum offers up some comedy relief at just the right moment. This is a definite classic and keeper for all-time.

"The Lost World" was just as stunning visually, but not quite as good with the story or the characters as the first one. I had read the book first and wished Spielberg would've kept the ending and one other raptor scene in the movie (this is why Crichton refused to take part in the movie). It would've been cool seeing those scenes, but still, the movie is remarkable.

The collection also has behind the scenes stuff and a complete encyclopedia of each dinosaur. Very nice for those who have children or anyone who wants any info about dinosaurs. And it's in fullscreen which is much better than the widesreen that most DVD's seem to prefer. I had watched "Jurassic Park" over 100 times and couldn't believe the difference in picture and in sound that the DVD gives you. Awesome. Get this collection.

Summary: Great Movies!
Review: I got this, I already had "Jurassic Park" on VHS, but I wanted it on DVD. And I'd never seen "Lost World" before. I actually liked it, not as much as "Jurassic Park" but it was still good, oh, and one more thing, the "Jurassic Park III" trailer SUCKS! In part one, Doctors Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler are invited by John Hammond to spend a weekend at Jurassic Park. On the way they meet Dr. Ian Malcolm, and as Hammond says, "I bring scientists, you bring a rock star." He says it to Donald Gennaro, head of InGen, the company bringing dinosaurs back to life. Well, a man named Nedry sets everything wrong, and the dinosaurs escape and wreak havoc, 'cause they were behind electrified wire, and Nedry turned it off.

In part two, Hammond asks Malcolm to visit Site B. They visit it and all the animals are loose. They have to get to the communications center in the center of the island, infested by raptors, to get out. And I won't ruin the spectacular ending for you. Adios, amigos!

Summary: Get the Trilogy Set Instead
Review: I enjoy all three of the the Jurassic Park movies, though I think "The Lost World" is a bit weak. While I think that anyone who enjoys action movies, monster movies, or horror movies should own all three, I find it difficult to recommend this set because there is a set that contains not only the three movies, but a fourth DVD containing substantial background information on the making of the movies. I give this collection four stars only because the larger, more comprehensive collection is available and if you liked the first two, you will definitely like the third movie.

Summary: Two-pack of Jurassic Park
Review: This is a two-pack of DVD's that include Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park. There are no features present here that aren't in the single releases, but this is cheaper than buying them separately. If you want to see my opinions of the two films, please check out my individual reviews of them. In saummary, I gave Jurassic Park a 4 star rating, and Lost World a 2 star rating.
