Summary: Innovative and exciting
Review: I believe that Jurassic Park has the best special effects of the 90's. The movie starts out with a set up of the characters, bringing them to the island, and it goes haywire from there. The suspense of the movie is amazing. Steven Spielberg is a great director and he shows his greatest directing skills in his 90's movies (Jurassic Park, Schindlers List, and Saving Private Ryan) John Williams has created an amazing soundtrack for these films. I hope that Williams and Spielberg continue to work together, and make greater movies. Jurassic Park and the Lost World are both worth the purchase in this boxed set. It is pretty hard to pass up such a good deal like this.

Review: ... for the purists. Anyone who pays this much for a two-movies set surely don't need to read a review, but ...Jurassic park made history with its ideas and their display. For the first time ever, we got to see "them" - the Dinosaurs, in a classic, E.T.-style movie. Lost world, the sequel, obviously cannot provide the same amazement as the original, but is still pretty good.

Review: Both movies stir the imagination but the second one lacks the originally of the first. It was a pity almost none of the original actors in the first one, didn't come back for a second go.

Review: One of the most amazing movie experiences of my life. It was a ground breaking movie for CGI and paved the way for some of todays biggest blockbusters! I would recommend these films to anyone who loves a wild ride because that's what this movie is! The sound is so good you will be ducking and hiding from T-Rex!

Review: Wow! What more can i say about this box.First you have "Jurassic Park" which i say is wort at least 5 stars then you have "Lost world" which i give 4 stars. This box is entertaining for the whole family(maybe not the youngest) with all that the family needs. Great story, massive effects and very good actors. I think that this is what i call a modern classic. A must have in the collection for all movie lovers.

Summary: Get the Trilogy Set Instead
Review: I enjoy all three of the the Jurassic Park movies, though I think "The Lost World" is a bit weak. While I think that anyone who enjoys action movies, monster movies, or horror movies should own all three, I find it difficult to recommend this set because there is a set that contains not only the three movies, but a fourth DVD containing substantial background information on the making of the movies. I give this collection four stars only because the larger, more comprehensive collection is available and if you liked the first two, you will definitely like the third movie.
