Summary: Too complicated for kids, adults would just fall asleep
Review: This movie is one of the worst movies iv'e ever seen. It's effects are grand-scaled and that't the problem the effects are too excessive. The acting is worse than i have ever seen and the dialogue is from hell. The time travel plot in the end might bee to complicated for small children and i don't see how anybody else would want to see it.I actually fell asleep when i went to see it(That really hasn't ever happened to me).Stop wasting youre money on remakes of old 60's series.(Avengers etc.).

Summary: This is what DVD is meant for.
Review: 1) amazing visual effects 2) well-composed soundtrack 3) lots of extras - including informative and fascinating commentaries. + an exciting adventure story, insights into family relations, and some very good performances (Hurt, Rogers, LeBlanc, and Oldman). Underrated by some critics, it is a highly entertaining and thoughtful Science Fiction/Adventure film.

Summary: An interesting, but not always successful film...
Review: Lost In Space attempts to capture the tone of the original series' first season. Gone is all the camp and the hokey special effects that appeared in the original series. As a kid I thought the series was pretty weak, but an enjoyable diversion.

The visual effects and production design are top notch, but like most latter day Hollywood productions, the script is light on characterization. The first hour works fairly well before becoming a run of the mill television movie.

William Hurt is interesting casting as the father. His intrepetation is unique to say the least and very disfunctional. Gary Oldham plays the role of Dr. Smith as if he is channeling the original actor from the series.

On the whole, there are a number of dazzling set pieces, but the whole is less than the parts.

Summary: Excellent
Review: This has to be one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time. The special effects were awsome, the cast was just as good as the special effects. A MUST have!

Summary: Okay
Review: I enjoyed this movie better at home on my brother's entertainment system than at the theatre, I don't know why. The special effects and sound do come out nice, but I agree with the previous viewers that say that the characters were shallow. In particular, I had trouble believing the young boy, the teen-angst girl, and Heather Graham were brother and sisters... it seemed like they barely knew each other, or had no history together whatsoever. And what was with that nasal-voiced girl's hair? They should've at least have combed it and made it simple, not the glue-encrusted, bent paintbrush hairs coming out of her skull that they showed us. When I first heard that Matt LeBlanc was going to be the military pilot in the movie, I was like, "oh no," but he didn't do that bad of a job at all. I liked the main music track of the movie which was funky/cool, and well, my favorite part is that I came out feeling that there's going to be a part two...

Summary: Pretty good movie - Use of former cast
Review: Well, the movie was pretty good. I like the use of the former cast from the tv series. There was a little bit to be desired from the movie. It needs more to the plot. Overall, it will stay in my collection.

Summary: Great eye-candy!
Review: Ok, the story is not terribly deep, but the movie is cute and good for a bit of old-fashioned escapism with new-fashioned state-of-the-art effects.

Summary: This movie was a good one for the family it just neededmore
Review: A real good movie for the family to see

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not worthy of the original TV series.
Review: When I heard about the film in coming attractions, I was psyched about going to see it. I instantly fell asleep watching it in the theaters. And who wouldn't during a boring film with nice, plush comfortable stadium seating seats? The original show is the best bet to watch, it's good fun for the family and is a classic TV program. The only reason why I gave it two stars was because it had good special effects. That still doesn't make it more interesting, though. Star Wars is the best sci-fi film to see. Let me sum all of this up: BORING CRAP.

Summary: SET YOUR MONEY ON FIRE RATHER THAN SPEND ON THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Stupendously, unbelieveably, uncannily crap. The worst movie I have ever seen. In fact, the movie was so bad I nearly died when it was shown twice on the plane after watching it in the cinema already. And then some one brought me the DVD, I considered using the disk as a natty, CD shaped ashtray. The acting is terrible first of all. The film was all in murky, purple colours for some reason. Maybe they were advertising grapes. The special effects were laughably feeble and the characters were irritating. If some one buys you the thing, you can use it as a mirror, but don't watch it.

THE WORST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD

By the way, the Pentium 100 joke in the beginning wasn't so bad. See if any of you can spot it if you ever have the misfortune to watch the thing.
