Summary: hackers is the best!
Review: many people say "Hackers" is a cheesey movie, but it is one of my favorites. Though the people who made it obviously knew little about hacking that doesn't seem to matter. The cast shines, and i love all the different fashion they used in this movie. Quite possibly one of the best soundtracks ever with a mix of rock, techno, and new wave that blends together perfectly in this film....

Summary: Tripple F: Fun Flight of Fancy
Review: This movie, as with most main stream films, is a flight of fancy. if you have ever watched star wars or star trek use the same rulez to watch this moive: Suspend all reality. sure its campy, sure its corny, sure its got Jonny Lee Miller, Angelina Jolie, and of course the GREAT mathew lillard, but it is SO wrong in SO many aspects! But it is a main stream hollywood teen flick about fighting they system, yes i know thats an oxy moron, much like wearing gap to be diffrent, but hey what ever. its fun to watch but don't expect to learn to hack or phreak from it. or see any semblece of reality, but hey i like star wars also and if you did you just might be able to suspend you disbelif and watch and enjoy this flim.

Review: Nice film, pleasant. Why show that dull black commandline prompt? The boring 0s and 1s, the systematic IP dumps, the tedious loads of raw ascii, the long hours of input and output with keyboard commands? To then expect a mainstream audience to want to watch? Chosen instead: 3D shots of probing movement through surreal landscapes, buildings stacked and unstacked, abstracted dream-travel. To convey the throbs of pure emotion that some hackers experience in their thrill of penetration and discovery. I enjoyed this film well enough. I'd have liked it more still if I were a teenager, but not minding teenagers in any case, I hoped to gain from it a bit of increase in appreciation -- for that sort of special hope and enthusiasm and wildness, precious during that stage of life. And did so. Note: Those who are averse to everything about the teen ego, well then, this is definitely a movie to avoid. As to those who wait for the accuracy of a film showing the endless solitary hours of a hacker's tedious keyboard commands at a dark silent UNIX command prompt? Well that wait could be indefinite, you can be sure.

Summary: This film will make you want to polish your boots!
Review: This is the best movie ever made. It changed my entire life. The scene with the delivery truck inspired me to propose to my neigbor. I liked what the man in the hat says to the benchmark in the third flapton. Talk about both exciting and boring! I think that the main actor was really a robot.
If you liked this movie, you should also see the other ones that are on VHS! Or, as the villian says, "Gimme 2 shakes and brill the backnose!"

No but on a serious note, this movie rocks. Angelina is dead sexy, and the rest of the cast makes for a great movie. The soundtrack is my favorite of all time. This movie is a mood setter, its all around fun to watch

Summary: forgetable but acceptable entertainment
Review: This film is unlikely to make anyone's top 10 movies of all time but it is worth 2 hrs of your time. Dont expect to get taken anywhere by this film , it is pure entertainment in the hollywood 21st century style. It's safe for kids and grandparents, though there were some suggestions of cross dressing and some tongue kissing. The best part of the film was Angelina Jolie, I have never taken much notice of her before nor been terribly impressed, but she really sizzles in this one. Maybe its the short hair and teenage dress, maybe its my middle aged longing, whichever - she sure looks hot (and acts ok too). To sum up, there is no drug taking and the baddy gets it in the end, boy gets girl and everyone goes home happy (except the baddy who will presumably spend his remaining days being poked by hot forks when he least expects it).

Review: This Movie was recently shown on Sci fi (July 2002) I though it showed the dangers of Hacking almost accruate but kept it simple. It had a Love story twist in the background and Action all the Way. It was a Definant THriller and I HIGHLY recommended it for those who want some think Different.
