Review: I SAW THIS MOVIE WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT..I WAS SO THRILLED THAT I BOUGHT IT RIGHT AWAY...! I AM A REALLY SCI-FI FANATIC AND IF U ARE TOO...THIS VIDEO SHOULD BE ALREADY IN YOUR COLLECTION..! THE COOLEST MOVIE EVER...SO THIGHT AND THE ACTORS ARE JUST PERFECT FOR THEIR ROLES...!

Summary: unintentionally hilarious
Review: This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The plot was implausible and the acting bordered on caricaturistic. Especially awful was Matthew Lillard in the role of Cereal Killer. I didn't know whether to laugh or scream in frustration, watching his "Bill & Ted on crack" routine. The only thing keeping this from being a no-star review was the fetching presence of Angelina Jolie. This film is already hopelessly dated.

Review: Is a pretty good movie, they took many real life hacking terms, but it look unrealistic. If anyone that have no idea about hacking would make them think this movie is so kewl since how they got it to gibson and all.. Why they put Cerealkiller Emmanuel Goldstein? He is the Editor - In - Chief of 2600. Anyway is a kewl movie.

Summary: cyberpunks on the thrill of their lives
Review: I felt that this movie rocked. It shows us the life of the underground generation, hackers and club kids. Even though the movie does more than its share of exaggerating on the real lives of hackers, crackers, phreakers and ect... I enjoyed the plot of the movie and the actors who portrayed the characters. This is an excelent movie to watch if your into cyberthrillers, club scenes and techno background. Or, if you really have the hots for the two leading characters. But, other than that, "Hackers" remains as one of my top ten most favorite and memorable movies of my generation.

Summary: One of my favorite movies of all time!
Review: There is a way to tell if a movie is really one of your favorite movies. If you can watch that movie over and over and still be in awe of it then it is one of your favorite movies. This is how I would describe Hackers.

If you are a hacker or a wannabe hacker then you must watch this movie. This movie is the best hacker/net/sci-fi movie ever. I'm even willing to say it's better than The Matrix (also one of my favorites). Basically it's about a young hacker that gets caught and gets his PC taken away from him until he's 18. Then wen he gets use of a PC on his 18th birthday he falls into another major hacking dilemma. Another hacker plants a virus in a computer system that will capsize some oil tankers on the ocean. So Dade (the main character) joins up with his newly found friends/ hackers to stop this tragedy from happening.

You must not pass this one up! The technology is so outdated now that it comes off laughable at this point in time but it still is a great movie none the less. Buy it I say, and buy it you will!

Review: well this movie infact quite unrealistic, has a fairly good plot, however "unlife like", working in computers i find it quite amusing, that even quotes from the hackers manifesto is there, this movie displays characteristics of crackers more so than hackers, which i am sure has been mentioned. (and hense the 31337 manifesto) i still would recomend it, just because its good for a quick laugh on others preception of "hackers"

Summary: A GREAT MOVIE...
Review: I don't care what anyone else says, this is a great movie. Fictionous, but it's still my favorite. The actors were great, the plot was awesome, and its a funny feel-good movie. A '95 movie and the Matrix still doesn't beat it. It has been my favorite for years and I'm sticking to it. I'd buy it if it was $500! Any hacker would love a great laugh and any other would enjoy the entertainment. So what are you waiting for? Go see it!

I love Angelina Jolie films (thats why I watched this movie) But little did I know this film had a great cast(MAthew lillard, and Jesse Bradford) I LOOVe Jesse. He's a hottie!So is his booty! But anyway Angelina is the best actress and the most beautiful human being on the face of this earth.(check her out in "Playing by heart") That film has the hottest man alive in it(Ryan Phillipe) Everyone go out and have an Angelina Jolie marathon. REnt.. Buy...Borrow. Whatevers clever...You won't regret it! SUPPORT THE WORLDS MOST TALENTED ACTRESS!
