Review: I thought that this movie is great but I was wondering why after five years of being on the market that it is still 96$. If it wasn't I might of thought of buying it.

Review: One of the best movies I've seen. Even if the info. on hacking isn't completely on the up and up I still found it to be one of the better movies that include a cast of young actors who have definately come into their own.

Review: Honestly, "hackers" does not capture the true cultural aspects of the technological underground. nor does it contain many accurate technical references. however, it did, in my oipinon capture the idealistic view that many people of my age group (16) share. what fun one could have beeing free of all technological restrictions and limitations. If you dont have much of an interest in computers or technology i wouldnt recomend this review. while it tries to appeal to a brauder audience by leaving many technical elements out, i feal that it only truley captures computer oriented watchers. as for myself, comming from that sort of backround, i love this movie. i too have the DVD, and have watched it so many times i know every line (seriously). this movie is too many computer kids, what a movie about michael jordan and his close group would be to kids striving for excelence in basketball. "hackers" is an energetic look at teenage life in a big city, where children living in a society more and more controled by computers are searching for a medium through which they can excersize their own authority... give it a chance?

Review: This film has nothing about hackers. The story could have been nice, but they made a ton of bad choices about almost everything involving tech knowledge. I've never seen twa hackers talking as they do in this film. Save ur money!

Review: There was a lot of talk about this movie over the Net..90% of net hackers will probably tell u this is the worst movie ever created but i disagree with that ...this movie got me into computers in the first place . I own the DVD and i must have watched this movie over 400 times by now..maybe more i never really kept track, it has its hyped up moments or even a far fetched moment here and there but its a movie for crying out loud, what i think was most accurate (at least to me) was the portrayal of someone who is obsessed by technology and just how the whole sub-culture of the computer underground is like, the clothing, the music, the attitude was all very nice i love this movie and when i have kids they will probably be like "oh god, dads getting out the Hackers DVD again.." and they will probably hate it but it, in my opinion of course, is an excellent movie. Though i urge MGM-DVD to re-release it with some extra features, the features are what make DVD what it is. I saw some scenes flashed in that trailer that were not in the movie and i would give anything to see them,

Summary: This movie is TIGHT!
Review: I saw this movie and was blown away by the coolness of it. True, it's not very realistic, but who really cares? Jonny Lee Miller does a great job as Dade and Angelina Jolie is x-tra hot in it too. PS-I was lucky enough to buy it used from Blockbuster. Never underestimate the power of your local new/used video store! Look for it! It is definitely worth it.

Review: This movie is so tight. I mean u can barely explain it. It's about a bunch of teen's who are expert hackers. They all stick together to pull one major "hack". The movie is awesome and a recommend you go see it right away. : )

Summary: Totally schizophrenic - 1/2 good film, 1/2 horrendous trash
Review: The hacker's story and their relationships is interesting. However,the larger plot about a company security expert pinning the blame on the hackers as part of a scheme is just awful. And Lorraine Bracco as his girlfriend was an embarassment. So... if you can sort of ignore that part of the movie, it's a terrific piece of work with amazing use of the camera to visualize the hacking sequences. When I first saw it, I thought Johnny Lee Miller ruined the film as the lead. Now, I really sort of like his work there.
