Summary: best movie of 1997
Review: Suspend your disbelief entirely and prepare to be astounded by this movie. Purely delightful escapism. This film unfolds like a drug-inspired dream. It has everything from a singing techo-diva octopus thing, to fudge rolling down people's foreheads, to a gorgeous orange-haired vixen. Parts of this movie defy logic and seem rather ridiculous but for some reason I gladly accepted these moments and waited for more. I hope you watch this movie and just accept it for it's pure entertainment, escapist, and visual grandeur.

Summary: ONE QUARTER OF A STAR
Review: GOOD Lord! What a waste of money! The fifth element? What happened to the periodic table of elements??? Where's my imagination, you say? I imagine this flop to be nonexistant in a year or two.

Summary: Awesome sound n' picture!! Great use of surround channels!!
Review: The movie is the best I've ever seen on DVD: The outstanding, sharp and detailed picture, along with the enormous sound impression with powerful bass and almost perfect use of the surround channels, this is a real thrill of a movie!! I saw it first in a movie theater, and it was almost a greater experience to watch the DVD on that 52" projection screen! Of course, that Sunfire True Sub helped a great deal when it comes to bass...

Summary: Breath Taking
Review: I couldn't even get up to get something to drink. The combination of the dramatic and intense music notes with the packed action scenes left me glued to my chair (sofa). Willis is taking everything that happens in life to an extent, and treat it as if there is no tomorrow. That what makes everything so real. The co-actress is amazing in her versatility and her ability to display emotions (actually, technical emotions).

I would watch this movie again, and again.... (Which I did)

Summary: one of the best fun SF movies ever
Review: Yes, it's typical Bruce Willis. Yes, Gary Oldman is the bad guy AGAIN. Yes, Chris Tukker is a little over-the-top. But, this movie is fantastic anyway. Milla Jovovich is incredible as the supreme being, and the direction and mixing of scenes in this film is unparalled. As far as the DVD transfer, if you have any question about the image quality, pause your DVD just as LeeLo jumps off the ledge before landing in Bruce Willis's cab. Amazing. See this DVD for everything : acting, direction, film quality, imagery, and yes, even plot.

Summary: Stupendous!
Review: I love Milla Jovovich and her look. I'm glad they made her different looking, like the orange hair. The stones and special effects are awesome! Chris Tucker has a very good scream! Leeloo has some really good action moves and the music fits every scene. A very exciting and stupendous movie!

Summary: True Blockbuster Format
Review: What can I say, I like loud colorful movies that sound great. I don't get caught up in a serious plot all the time. I like to escape and enjoy the show. Granted this movie will not appeal to some but for most, it is a feast for the eyes. The story is fun and should be taken as such. It also shows off what a DVD player can accomplish. For those who gave a not so shining review, live a little enjoy it for what it is. FUN!
