Summary: Spare us, Hollywood...
Review: This is an absolute snoozer! What's the deal, Hollywood, do we really need a film like this? The plot is unrealistic even for an action movie! I mean, this is a genre where terrorists aim for your feet and ammo is unlimited! And the plot still comes off as being far-fetched! It's amazing how astronauts, who have been selected because they are the most qualified to venture into space, must train for days, months, years to prepare for a mission. Then a gang of high-school dropout oil drillers who have no experience in anything that is even remotely related to space, can train for a week or two and be fully ready for a venture into the final frontier. Is oil-drilling expericence REALLY that important to planting this bomb that we must send up inexpericenced idiots? Oh, and why the HELL is there a chain gun on the ship? In case they need to SHOOT the asteroid to pieces? What could a gun possibly add to the success of their mission? Are they afraid of encountering little green men? But one thing's for sure, that-thar gun sure did look cool... I think that epitomizes the whole movie : It's not a film, it's a special effects showcase with a plot to tie them together.

Summary: The Best Movie!!!
Review: This is such a great movie. The acting was excellent and the movie was not at all boring. There were no dull parts what so ever. Every sceen had at least one thrilling moment. The movie was filled with many different situations that ammediatly catch your attention. The pictures of the planet and of space were outstanding. This is one move that brought tears to my eyes. It wasn't one of those movies where the whole thing seems so unrealistic. It was just great!

Summary: It's supposed to be ridiculous, people!
Review: This movie is what's known as a "blockbuster summer film." It's SUPPOSED to be about big bangs, improbable events and people who would be the LAST ones to be chosen to save this planet in real life. Why can't people just sit back and enjoy a super-duper explosion-filled action-packed no-brainer extravaganza? Is it the best movie of 1998? No way, but it's sure as hell fun to watch. People need to realize that not every movie can be a "Godfather" or "Citizen Kane" or whatever else people consider masterpieces. Anyway, it's a pretty good story about a rag-tag team of oil drillers who get sent up in space to blow a giant asteroid headed for earth into smithereens. One of the best things about this movie is Trevor Rabin's musical score. It's fun and it adds alot to the mood of the movie.

Review: I CANNOT understand the bad reviews. This movie was awesome. It was halaious too. It had all sorts of great one-liners (just for the record, this is a very. . . bad. . . idea) and the drama was great. I don't start bawling but it was a bit sad. The acting was great. I cannot say this enough times. It was great and halarious. What awesome movie. Also, all those harsh critics need to lighten up, big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: I love this movie. Thre was so much action and excitment I forgot to eat my candy when I whatched it in the movie theaters. It made me cry, lagh and hold my breath. If anyone hasn't seen it yet I suggest they do, Now!

Review: This movie is just another example of Hollywood making movies that are big on special effects and scarce on plot. The sorry romantic subplot doesn't make up for it either. It is really unrealistic and would only fool someone with an elementary school mentality. You never once feel for the characters. This show was only made for money and no thought of being a serious movie ever went into it. By supporting trash like this we are cutting out movies that have actual substance and are leading Hollywood to make more garbage.

Review: The special effects in this movie were good, but it completely lacked science! Why is it that meteors, godzillas, volcanos, and stay puft marshmallow men only attack New York or Los Angeles? If your more into realism, get Deep Impact. If you like cheese with your adventure movies, get Armageddon. I you feel you have far too many brain cells than you know what to do with 'em, you can either drink a gallon of grain alcohol or you can watch Armageddon. Just think! According to Armageddon, if we bury a nuke 100 meters under Texas, we could SPLIT IT IN HALF!!! The only reason I gave this movie 2 stars is because I love NASA and hate NYC.

Review: armageddon is a powerful and touching story filled with endless suspense and adventure. the actors are excellent and give a memorable performance as we cry areselves to tears. it is one of the greatest films ever made, and will forever be a classic.
