Summary: The Greatest Story Ever Told
Review: The Matrix is a film that has a very personal meaning to me. That obviosly I can't go into details here, but I will tell you this, buy the ticket and take the ride. Everytime i watch this movie I notice something new. I view it at least 3-4 times a month. For those of you that have seen it and beleive in it, you know where I'm coming from. Those who haven't you are missing out on what is a Landmark in story telling and in movies period.Thank you!!!

Review: The Matrix is a gem of a movie. I experienced it as a highly emotionaly and brilliantly choreographed science fiction fantasy. The Wacowski brothers are talented directors. Many of the action sequences are hard to forget due to their John Woo-esque poetic quality.

Review: The Matrix is a good movie with great special effects. The DVD is probably one of the top ten on the market today. It has plenty of extras and the movie itself looks amazing. It is a hell of a buy for under $20 and I highly recommend. You won't be disappionted.

Review: The Matrix is a great movie and is extremely well done, however, I experienced that it wouldn't run on all DVD players. I took it back in exchange for the VHS version but was greatly disappointed that the DVD wouldn't run on my player. The movie is great though and well worth the money, just be sure that it will run on your machine before you buy it.

Review: The Matrix is a great movie in all aspects. The action sequences are intense, and the special effects are amazing. But The Matrix is more than just guns, Kung Fu, and CGI. The story is very clever and thought-provoking. It reminds us that reality is more than just the world we live in. It also reminds us to never quit in the face of despair, to strive for excellence, and to seek the truth. About the rating: Call me a square, but I usually don't see R-rated movies. However, fear not. I can't think of a PG-13 movie I've seen that is less offensive than The Matrix. It is quite violent but is not gory or graphic. The language is milder than most PG-13s. While I would not suggest it for children because of the sustained gunfighting scenes, I see no reason for the R rating. ...

Review: The Matrix is a great movie that messes with your mind about certain subjects we deal with in everyday life. It makes you think about the world around you and what it really means. It is a sci-fi movie that appeals to everyone. It has romance, action, and a great story. The reason I liked the movie is because it had kung-fu and bullet dodging. The coolest thing ever seen in a movie is bullet dodging. Even if you don't like the content of the movie, you may like Keanu Reeves. But you shouldn't miss out on the this sci-fi masterpiece that will keep you guessing because of the slightly confusing plot. I didn't understand it until the second time I saw it. You'll love it!

Summary: This is great allegory
Review: The Matrix is a great sci-fi film because of the allegory involved. The human race is under a spell and must be woken up. Because reality is too hard to face we have to numb our pain with illusion. This virtual reality scenario is already becoming a reality technologically, with internet addicts in addition to TV addicts. We are living vicariously through all this media, and the ultimate end would be The Matrix. The rebels among us must stop this from coming to pass. This type of film marks a new wave of Sci-fi, and it's rare in that it's a major film that provokes thought, rather then telling you what to think.
