Review: If you like action films at all, the scenes in this film will leave you in total bliss. But what makes it truly special is the intelligence and style that is used throughout the movie. I'm sure some Van Damne and Rambo films have awesome special effects and action, but everything else about them is so stupid is just isn't worth it. Not so here. I'd say more but the 500 other reviews already posted that give 5 stars do a pretty good job of that.One more thing - FOR THOSE OF YOU who have PC DVD-ROM players and are HAVING TROUBLE playing the DVD, SEARCH the net for and DOWNLOAD a software decoder called CINEMASTER. I had lots of problems too with my player - until I started using Cinemaster. I haven't had a single problem since. And what's best - its free :)

Review: If you like alot of action, and tons of special effects, THIS IS THE DVD. This movie had a pretty good story line, but is kinda confusing. It takes me about 2-3 times to fully understand movies. The scenes in this movie are incredible, such people dodging bullents in slow motion. This is the future of all movies.

Review: If you like movies like Jacob's Ladder, where you have to see it a few times to really get it, then you will LOVE this movie. Trust me. If you don't get it, then you hate it, just read the 1 star reviews here. But beyond the plot line, the direction and cinamatography are ground breaking!

Review: If you like sci-fri movies, you will definitely like this one. This has one of the best special effect I ever seen. But the kung fu portion is just slightly fake. Well I guess it is because none of the artor or artress is martial artist. Anyway this is a very good movies.

Review: If you like seeing superhuman heroes in cool-looking outfits blowing away cops and security guards, this is your movie. The special effects are amazing and the fight choreography is not bad, but man, is the plot stupid. Way too many holes. Who is the Oracle? What's the point of venturing into the matrix if you can't beat the agents? I suppose this is every teenage boy's fantasy: you must use your top-notch video game skills to save the planet. Don't get me wrong. This is a good action-adventure, but it is not the be-all and end-all of the genre. When the special effects become dated, there won't be much reason to watch this one.

THE MATRIX WAS INTREASTING THE FIRST FIVE MINS, THEN COMES THE HOLE PURPOSE OF ANY MOVIE WHY? BECAUSE OF IT'S CONTENTS THE MOVIE HAD TO BE EXPLAINED IN DEPT WHICH TOOK ALOT AWAY FROM THE ACTUAL MOVIE. I GUESS IF YOU A KID YOU NEEDED THE INDEPT REPORT. FOR ADULTS YOU WOULD FELL AS IF THEIR EXPLAINING THINGS THAT THEY DIDNT NEED TO. THINGS THAT YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF AND DIDNT NEED TO HAVE IT POINTED OUT TO YOU. IF IT WASNT FOR THAT SPECIAL EFFECTS I WOULD HAVE TO SELL MY COPY. ITS THAT MOVIE THAT IF YOU DO WATCH IT AGAIN YOU WOULD FORWARD TO THE GOOD PARTS.

Summary: What else can I say... IT IS "THE MATRIX"
Review: If you live in this planet for sure you have heard already about the movie... I saw it in the movie 2 times and didn't wait to buy the cassette. So far I think I already have seen it more than 10 times! and still enjoy it each time. I can't think of a better movie, at least that I have seen and I have a lot of hours as a movie spectator... If you haven't seen it, you are missing more than an experience... you are missing a new top standard against whick compare other movies... The Matrix is imple THE BEST!
