Summary: the best movie ever(im 11 years old)
Review: Aliens, the best sci fi action movie ever!!!The cast is the best, the plot actually sticks to the whole story, and the marines were badass or, state of the badass art I should say. Everything about the movie was great!Having the extra 17 minutes doesnt really make a big difference. In the Aliens Trilogy the order of best to worst(not saying any of them was bad at all)Goes,1.Aliens 2.Alien 3.Alien Ressurection 4.Alien 3

Summary: JAMES CAMERON is the greatest director ever!
Review: ALIENS is the sequel to RIDLEY SCOTT's 1979 hit, ALIEN, in which Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) heads back to planet LB-426 with marines sent to check her horror story of a rampaging alien, only this time, there are thousands!

MY REVIEW:

"This sequel is far better than the original! The movie is spectacular! The action-SCI-FI-effects are great! Director, JAMES CAMERON (Titanic, Terminator 2, True Lies) is the greatest director ever! Summary: Scary.......
Review: This is the BEST movie ever. It has a mix of horror and action. Bill Paxton is great as Private Hudson, an unexpirienced soldier who's funny, yet sometimes a nervous wreck. Sigorney Weaver is great as Ripley. I've seen this movie 18 times, yet i can't get enough of it, but i still wake up in the middle of the night thinking about those facehuggers... Overrall this movie gets 8 out of 5 stars. Hahaha!

Summary: Zoinks!
Review: When I saw the original in the theaters in 1987 I will never forget the scene of audience unity from the corner of my eyes during certain scenes. As if one the entire theater jerked back when the alien in the tank lunged at that little worm Burke's face. I don't think this kind of tension will ever be repeated.

Summary: great movie
Review: It's great. You'll love it. It has everything like horror, terror and action never goes down. The special edition has 17 minutes of restored footage. The best film in "Alien" series. And also the best film in sci-fi fantasy. All the Alien fans, like me must have it.

Summary: QUEEN ALIEN, SPACE MARINES, BISHOP...
Review: This movie is the one! There is one film that best represents this sci-fi dimension...Aliens. the Hard Core space marines, best of mankinds warriors, get destroyed by the awesome alien race. I first saw this movie when I was just a kid, it demonstrated how corporate greed has no regard for human individuals who can carry out their efforts to increase their pursuit for greed and power. Not to limit this movie to corporate greed, it is much more...and the scene with Bishop playing with the knife, just one fine scene in this amazing sci-fi film. I recommend any one who respects good sci-fi to see this movie.

Summary: WHERE IS WEAVER'S OSCAR!!!
Review: This film is leaps and bounds above the original!! In terms of action: Cameron turns the landscape into a giant connect four game board of catch between the crew members and the Aliens. And script: the dialogue is less forced and more cohesive. Acting: The real part of this review. This film has to be owned fjust for this fact. Weaver was the first actor to be nominated for an action flick and she undeservedly lost. BY the Cameron giving her more screen time and a mother's insticnt thanks to Newt, you have to be insane not to notice her performance. Her physical nature make Hamilton In T2 look lie lara Flyn Boyle. This is the perfect action film with some of the most meomorable dialogue if film history.

Summary: If you could give more than 5 stars...
Review: Forget that you've seen it before; watching the ALIENS Special Edition DVD is almost like seeing it for the first time. The new added scenes range from interesting to breathtaking. I've seen other re-edited films for DVD (Brazil for one) and have mostly wished they'd been left alone. But here we have an impossible case of perfection made better. The back of the DVD case says the new footage (17 minutes worth) was added to "broaden the narrative scope and enrich the emotional impact of the film". Does it? Yessiree! I do have one minor gripe about this "special" version. There's a scene near the end where even an average viewer can see how a special effect was done. My disbelief is always challenged at the moment. I was hoping they'd use some computer-aided matting similar to the enhancments made in the Star Wars Trilogy to remove this.

How about the quality of the DVD transfer? Well, it's tough to find much fault. There is a little graininess or blockiness here and there but the picture quality is mostly quite sharpe. The creatures look amazingly icky! The sound is 5.1 perfection. Turn it up!

The DVD interface is very creative just like the ALIEN DVD. There's some interesting extras to sort through; although not as much as the ALIEN DVD. The Cameron interview is very good (who is that interviewing him? One of the Beach Boys?).

Perhaps the best SF/Horror picture ever done; becomes the #1 MUST BUY Dvd!

Summary: THE FEMALE OF THE SPECIES IS MORE DEADLY THAN THE MALE
Review: One thing that I like about James Cameron is that he does something that we see very little of--women playing the roles of men in action movies. And what's surprising is this: IT WORKS! Before I saw Aliens, I was a huge fan of the movie Predator. I still think that's a good movie, but I like Aliens just as much and even better in some respects. For one, I thought that the storyline was very tightly woven. Towards the beginning, Ripley mentions how she has a Class 2 license or something for a certain robot-like piece of machinery. Then, towards the end of the movie, you get to see how that comes in handy. That battle between machine and alien at the end is breathtaking. Cameron also succeeded in setting the atmosphere. I found it very reminiscent of the atmosphere in The Terminator. There are some very good action scenes in this movie as well as some good one-liners. I especially like that one guy who says, "We're all going to die, man!" or something along those lines. For the most part, though, I like the ending. To me, the last 30 minutes or so was one whopper of a grand finale. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you should.

Summary: "Aliens" evolutionary strategy
Review: Since each human seems to host only one Alien egg, why are the Aliens willing to have hundreds of their kind cut down in the line of duty just for the benefit of a few eggs? Lose many to make a few.. hmm.

It's a miracle the species made that far into the future with that kind of evolutionary reasoning.. That said, the movie continues to deliver thrills on repeated viewings.
