Summary: This movie is the BEST!!!
Review: This is the best movie I've ever seen, which is saying a lot! A couple of my friends and I are completely obsessed with Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint). We think he is the cutest little actor in the world! Daniel, Emma, and Rupert make an awesome team. I for one cannot wait for all seven movies to come out! The special effects are incredible, and the soundtrack is unbelieveable. If you haven't seen this movie yet, do youself a favor and go see it. It's a must see!

Review: They only had one quidditich game,a shame. Unfortruneatly they skipped Snapes challenge, *sigh*. It was funny. But it was missing some of the edge that the books had.

Review: Harry potter and the sorcerer's stone is the best movie ever made. My friend even lied and said he had a doctors appointment just so he could get out of school and see the movie the opening day. This movie totally crushes braveheart, monsters inc, jarasic park 1,2 and 3, etc etc etc. I got the game harry potter and the sorcerer's stone for my pc; Excellent also.
J.K Rowling is a wicked writer.

Review: Hi,

i believe that this movie of Harry Potter is one of the best movies that i have yet seen. i am not the usual person meaning: watching the latest movie in the theatre, but i watch musicals and old movies, i've seen movies like- you drive me craze, coyote ugly etc.

but i am a natural fan of harry potter, so you know i've read his books 20-25 times, i am a fast reader, but no book has made me fell like these books, i love them.

Summary: A Muggleful Magical Movie!
Review: This is a very enjoyable film and I would recommend it for all ages. It was quite long but it was worth it. I think the whole cast is made up of great actors. Also lovers of Rowling's books can now realize the fantasy that before the movie was beautifully written. The movie provides great worthwhile entertainment also capturing hearts of Harry Potter and non-Harry Potter fans. The film is almost exactly like the book and is everything I imagined it to be and more. The movie is absolutely enchanting and it makes one's imagination run wild. Although some adults may consider it to be just another fantasy feature, this film will inspire all young audiences. The movie also has some great special effects and the stories and settings are just the kind that the book fans would have imagined them to be. Visually stunning and absolutely fantastic, Harry Potter is definitely a movie one would want to watch on the big screen. I definitely recommend it and it really does deserve the 5 stars I gave it.
Undoubtedly spectacular and Magical moments make this a film that young audiences would love for quite a few generations to come.

Summary: The Best Movie Ever
Review: I really liked the Harry Potter movie. I think that they did a great job. My favorite parts were the chessgame and the Quidditch match. If you like exciting movies then this is for you. I do recommend that you read the book first but if you like movies to surprise you then don't. This is the best movie I have seen in the 11 years I have been alive and you should see it too.

Summary: Good for All Ages
Review: I was a bit skeptical to take my 4 and 5 year olds to see this movie. I tried reading them the book, but it was a bit much for them to understand. After watching the movie they both LOVE, and understand the book. The story follows the book to a T. My 5 year old reads on a 2nd grade level and he now loves this story. I'm getting the rest of the set for them for Christmas. If you are hesitating for any reason, DON'T. Go see it!

Summary: A Fine Film, Yet Falls Short
Review: Now that the smoke has cleared and fans have officially been allowed to enter the world of young wizard Harry Potter, it is apparent that the movie is definitely a classic and will probably be remembered for quite some time - but is it as good as J.K. Rowling's groundbreaking series? While the novel was developed and surprising, the film seems to take the greatest hits from the novel and incorporate them into the movie, omitting such transitional concepts as Harry and his friend's research and pondering over their latest mystery and letting them jump to a brilliant conclusion every other scene. However, these qualms can be overlooked. The visual effects are stupendous - in particular the fantastic Quidditch scene that plays like an Omnimax film and the tense portion of the trials in the dungeons. However, some effects are not as commendable as others. For example, the oafish troll that looks like Shrek's inbred cousin. But, if anything is to be lauded over all things, it is the phenomenal performances director Chris Columbus extracts from his characters. While the youngsters, such as Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Emma Watson (Hermione), and Richard Grint (in a fine turn as Ron) are quite capable, the portrayals given by Robbie Coltrane, Alan Rickman, and the excellent Maggie Smith steal the limelight in their supporting roles. While some improvments are allowed, such as making Draco Malfoy, Harry's nemesis, less one-sided, the film cannot truly be enjoyed as we all already know what happens, unless you have been living in some cave for the past few years. Although, one can omit their memories and be allowed to bask in two and a half hours of pure magic.
